I gave run into somewhat of a dilemma here. The problem being, that I would like to have a A320, but there seems to be something wrong with practically all available options.Wilco: most people say the system simulation simply is not good enough. The question here is: I don't have to have everythin g simulated; will I miss, or really notice the things that are wrong? I have their volume 2 Airbus pack, and while people say things are wrong, I would have no idea if that's really true... Hi guys.I have got a Core i7 860 computer, Fs2004 runs well, with fps locked on 60. However if the FPS drop below 60fps, panning, mainly in virtual cockpits becomes choppy. Say if FPS drops to 50 panning is noticably choppy.I have a Core i7 with a 9800gtx+.I cant see why panning would be choppy when fps are still high (45+).Thanks very much for your advise/help.Simon.

I was thinking about purchasing this aircraft bundle while on sale. Before I do I was wondering if anyone who already owns these models can answer a few questions.1. Are you able to modify the panels to your liking?2. Can you use FS panel Studio to remove and insert your own gauges?I know on thier previous released aircraft when I try to modify or add/remove gauges with FSPanel Studio, thier gauges would not load and crash the software. So since the P180, I decided not to buy anything else from.Bill M

Hello everybody, I encountered a problem with autogen (especially buildings) in my FS2004. During flight autogen buildings without any textures (i.e. white boxes) appear randomly on the ground. It looks like the picture here: http://www.flightsim.cz/forum_prispevek.ph...68731&lan=0 However my case is different, because the white boxes appear everywhere (e.g. on hills but not on water). One set (e.g. 5 boxes) appear for a second a then disappear, because there is no texture on them. After 1 or 2 more seconds, new set of boxes appears on different places and this cycle repeats. I tried a few places in Europe and the behaviour was the same for all of them. I think…

HiWhat is the correct order to have both scenerys to work??Because now I don't see VFR scenery, only on some parts of ground I see the traces of VFR scenery textures.VFR is above UT in scenery config in my case.ThanksEdin

Can anybody tell me how to manage the fuel in this plane? When the CENTER tank empties, engine pressure drops and I don't know what to do. There's no guidance in the Cap Sim booklet. I've always been baffled by fuel management in this lovely aircraft in the sim. Appreciate any guidance, thanks!JS

Trying to slowly get my Delta AI in shape with best models and newest colors. Cant find a good B762 in late delta colors. Can anybody recommend one if it exists? I know there are several models around but no twisted widget colors. Need to replace all the NWA aircraft as well.ThanksE

It's been 12 months since ASA initial release and I'm just wondering how many FS9 users finally switched to ASA? I was one of the first buyers of ASA and even after SP1 release I hasn't been satisfied with overall usability of ASA comparing with AS6.5. Perhaps, it's just me and other folks have had different experience.So, your thought sare welcome.

So, I bought and downloaded FS9-737-600 and when I try and install it, I get an error message about no valid FS9 registry location.I even emailed PMDG, with no reply, and am wondering if this is a common or easily fixable error.I am running Windows 7, if that makes a difference?

Hi.I have a shortcut on my desktop called "Temp" which I empty each time before flying, and I also have a shortcut for the folder C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9.I check this folder regularly to make sure nothing is added or wrong. I have noticed that there is a file called Scenery.cfg in there. But this is also in the Main FS Directory, so should this one be in the above folder as well?There are also two other files called "navlog0.HTM" and "navlog1.HTM" again should they be there?I ask because I can't remember if it was there all the time.Thanks for any info.

The "halo.bmp" file doesn't seem to affect the characteristics of the blue taxiway edge lights, or the green taxiway centerline lights (as evidenced in the attached picture), just the runway lighting. I've interchanged several 'halo' files by various authors, and the taxiway lights are still blue and green opaque blobs of the same size, not sharp and crisp like the green runway end lights. You can adjust the brightness of the apron edge lights (apron light strips) in editing programs like AFCAD or AFX (I have both), but they do nothing for the green taxiway centerline lights.Does anyone know where to find the bmp files, for the taxiway edge and centerline lighting? Aircraft selection preview "views" using the mouse.To get top and bottom views, for example, during aircraft selection "preview".Just grab the nose of the aircraft (holding down the left mouse button) until you get the view you want.Then let go of the mouse button.The view will now rotate for inspecting all surfaces.Nice after a repaint to see what other surfaces look like!

Just FYI to any potential buyers, the overcast is pathetic with Zinertek clouds even when coupled with AS and using the 2-layer feature. They are completely see-through, and look more like scattered than overcast.As soon as I uninstalled them and went back tothe default clouds, my overcast layer looked pretty decent.James

Hi folks,I'll split this post into two sections as I'd imagine they don't overlap too much...Contrails: What is the best contrail effect in existance for FS9 and where do I get it?I have tried the two from the library and find Jan Rosenbergs one to be great, apart from being flat, and Michael Thomas' 3D one (v2) to be too puffy and broken near the aircraft so that you see individual "puffs" of smoke near the aircraft.What would be ideal is a combination of the two but my efforts to mess with the fx files to achieve this had them floating apart after a while... Also, it would be good if the contrail would actually reflect the sky colour like the clouds do - the 3D contrail…
