I downloaded arm_1zip and installed it on one of my aircraft,the problem that I'm having is only 1 reverse thruster seems to work not both at the same time when the plane lands.Is this normal or have I left something out.Thanks Kim

Hi All! First post here. Does anyone know of any quality business jet payware that has an optional engine autostar? (default FS9 planes are almost worthless).I have flown FS9 since it's creation and love it. I understand most flightdeck systems, etc. But sometimes I just want to have an engine start that is visually realistic, with great sounds, without taking the time to go through a whole checklist. (I have a Dreamfleet Baron that has some real life steps for getting the engines going but when dealong with jets it's a whole different (lengthy) ballgame.) I understand many in the FS community enjoy this realism but it is nice to have the option of autostart.Thanks in adv…

I did a search and found a couple of comparisons but they were from 2007. I wonder how people feel here in 2010. I guess my issue is price. One is $50 US and the other is about $20 dollars less. I wonder what opinions people have. I added REX 2.0 and cant believe how it is made my sim look. I would like something to do that for my ground textures. I have the original Ground Enviroment and uninstalled and have to be honest I dont see that much of a dfference. I wonder if GE Pro II is that much of an upgrade. Maybe FSScene is different. I was just looking for opinions.Thanks

I have recently decided to create Qatar airways 747-400 textures. I did everything correctly, but the aircraft seems blurred and you have to be really far away to see it nicely. I would really like this to become unblurred because it is my first ever aircraft texture! Any help :)Planenutter

Is there a way to change the size of the font in the game? I'm referring to the font size for the ATC text. I just reloaded FS2004 and I noticed the text was real thin and almost hard to read. I didn't have this problem in my previous install. Unfortunately, I don't remember what I did to change it. I don't know if this was a change I made to the FS config file, or a change I made to my XP via the Control > Display panel.Thanks for your time,Mike Franks

I recently got a new computer (with windows 7) and did a fresh install of FS9. Now tonight I am trying to use TTools Companion for the first time on the new computer and it is not working. I get a error that says Component 'COMDLG32.OCX' or one of it's dependencies not correctly registered: a file is missing or invalidWhat is wrong or what am I missing? Does TTools Companion work in Windows 7? Never had a problem with this in WinXP.

Hello all, I have been getting shutdowns while playing fs2004 and the problem is linked to the users file. I decided to investigate by looking at the files (big mistake) I played around with the files because they were locked and I unlocked them but I must have done something wrong because all my folders on the desktop disappeared. I did a system restore thinking I could erase what I had done. The system restore worked but when I click the fs2004 shortcut on the desktop I get this message: access denied error:createfile (c:\users\cj\appdata\local\temp\~esd141t... Hi,I need your help to understand better how to setup the scenery library into FS9 when you have a complicated one by several sceneries' types. I know that the sceneries at the top have priority but I want to know what stuff has priority than other ones.When you install for the first time FS2004 you have only the default sceneries. HELP! I'm finally getting around to reorganizing my 70 GB of FS9 Scenery. I have read a number of conflicting and confusing articles on how to prioritize scenery. Looking at the FS9 Scenery Library screen list, from top to bottom, I think this is the correct way. Is it?1. Global Mesh2. Regional Mesh3. Local Mesh4. 3rd Party Scenery5. Land Class - Local6. Hi everybodyI can't log into the REX forum at work, so I'll ask here first. With the REX taxiways, does anyone know of a default airport where the white 'dashed' taxiways are present? Hi I have been flying in FSX for ages and I am currently taking up FS2004 for more stability and better FPS.My question is about the Night time textures? I have attached some screen shots....My plane seems to have a green glowing texture to it, it happens in all of my planes.The ground is like a fuzzy brown/green colour and my landing lights have lines of green through them!Check out the screen shots... have you had or know the problem here? Hi!I did a small system upgrade and got the Nvidia GTS 250 card to replace Ati Radeon 4670.Now everything runs exactly as I expected as long as I do the following.- Load the Pmdg M11 at a dense airport in full screen mode all setting maxed with single monitor, FPS stable at 50 (locked)- Go to windoved mode and move overhead panel into monitor 2 and back to fullscreen mode again, FPS between 15-20 regardless of the locationI have the latest Nvidia driver and Nhancer configured as should. Hi All,I've recently been experiencing a Crash To Desktop with the Simwings Barcelona Scenery. I installed an updated AFCAD to add the 07R/ 25L and I thought that was the problem. So I switched to the old AFCAD and deleted that new one. However, I still continued experiencing a CTD with the old AFCAD. After trying several times, I uninstalled the Simwings Barcelona scenery. Even with the default scenery I have a CTD. The weird thing is that I only get this with Barcelona airport and not other airports!I looked at the Error CTD report it appears to be blank. I have no idea why this is happening.Does anybody have a solution to this?James W.

AFCAD runways and ATIS?I downloaded KSBA (ksba-june08.zip) from the library.I "list runways" in AFCAD and see a bunch of 20 foot long x 20 feet wide runways listed .. not actually runways!And, ATIS call each out as departure / landing runways.What causes this?Is there a way to fix it?My thought was I installed it incorrectly but I thought I had seen this before with other afcads.Also I seen additional (user) glideslopes and localizers for other runways.

I'm still using Fs9 with and I'm about to Upgrade my PC starting with Windows 7 32 bit.The basis for the upgrade is an Intel Pentium E7500 Dual2core CPU 800mhz. I'm 'stuck' at the moment wondering which Graphic Card to use; Nvidia or ATI and type. Any help would be appreciated. If you need any more info re the upgrade let me know.Ken

About 4 months ago I got the Saitek Yoke and and extra Throttle Quadrant. Along with this I immediately began using FSUIPC for all of my controller programing, as quite honestly this many axes (9 total axes and some other number of buttons) just can't be put to good use without it. Unfortunately since that time I've been experiencing uncommanded gear extension or retraction. This is always happening near the ground, either between gear up and climb to acceleration height or between gear down and touchdown. It has never happened to me above 10,000' MSL and the only two aircraft I know this happens with are the PMDG MD-11 and 747. It may happen with others, but I'm fly…

I have UT USA and FZ02 Portland (with compatibilty patch) and and I found out that in the area south of Seattle the lakes are built up with square shapes i.e the info about the correct shoreline form seem lost. What could that be? I think a previous poster had a picture showing just this in a post. Unfortunately I have not been able to find this post.

Hi GurusI downloaded a panel file yesterday (dash8q4.zip and d8q4up12.zip) from Flightsim.com (not availlable at avsim) to use with Dreamwings Dash8 Q-400.Everything is fine exept one thing thing. You know when you are at a airport and you open AFCAD for the airport you are at and there is a red cross that shows where your plane is at the airport? Well on my AFCAD the red cross is not showing up. How do I get the red cross to show? I recently switched to Windows 7. I don't know if that has anything to do with it. And I am using FS9.Nothing like this has happened when I had Windows XP.

Please take a look at the attached pic of a steep mound of dirt adjacent to Rwy 29 at Aruba. It appears in both the default scenery and the FS2002 scenery by Sabino Yacabone. Having never been to Aruba, is there in actuality such a hill? Viewing the airport with Google Earth, I can see a hill on the landward side of the runway, but not the seaward side. I tried to remove it with ExcludeBuilderV2, but was not successful.ThanksChris

Hello all FS9 aircraft experts,I'm flying a Douglas DC-7 and it behaves very well except for one issue. When I apply power while e.g. on the runway with the brakes set, the nose wheel sinks into the ground after the suspension has been fully compressed.
