Many thanks to you, Oka, for the heads up for the FREE Howard 500 aircraft. Some how I missed that one. I use 3-26 inch monitors and the Howord 500 looks like a million bucks with those two, big checkerboard engines and props spinning on my left and right monitors. Only a couple of problems ( for me). I'd like to move the wing views with those engines back a little futher on my monitors so that I could see more of the ground scenery in front of the engines but the center VC cotpit view also has the props spinnning at the edge of that center view. During the loading process at about 77% I get an error stating it is with the weather.dll...is there a fix without complete reinstall..I havent changed or loaded anything else top cause this.ThanksRandy

I decided to try to delete my old fs9.cfg so it would build a new one i was having some issues with a CTD when flying around buffalo and cant figure out the cause. It created a new fs9.cfg and i go to fly my flight and my joystick wont work correctly. The breaks work and the buttons all work but the actual stick will not let me steer right, left or go up or down.Does anyone know how to fix this?I have a AV8R-01 SaitekI saved my old .cfg file just in case and put that back in and the joy stick works fine with that so i want to figure out how to get it to work with the new cfg file and why its not working with the new one.Thanks

Hi guys, i just installed FS9 on my computer.. i have had it on here before and never had this problem... I can't remember clearly if i had this problem and someone great here helped me with it, But either way when i am on FS9 and i minimize it to do something else and i click back on FS2004 on the taskbar nothing happens, it does not open back up.. If i push ALT - TAB its not even listed there to open back up.i hope someone can help me.. Many thanks..Mike

Hi All...I wonder if anyone can help me please ?I use 2 monitors - 1 for scenery and 1 for instrument panel. I undock the instrument panel on the plane and put it on 2nd monitor. Its been working fine on most of the planes I have but for a plane I just downloaded the following is going on:The problem I am having is when I try to undock the instrument panel and drag it to the 2nd screen the whole scenery goes with it so all I did was put what was on the 1st screen to the 2nd screen. Funny that some planes are fine. I can't seem to undock the panel ONLY and drag it to 2nd monitor ???Anyone have any ideas please ?many thanks...JB

Hey, this is for all the people using the enbseries bloom files for fs9, or i guess fsx as well. Here's my problem:The effect looks awesome when tweaked right, but I have noticed, after playing around with my AA settings, that when the bloom is activated with any amount of supersampling is enabled through nhancer, it blurs the picture slightly. This goes for straight supersampling AA or combined (multisampling + SS). However, if I just choose multisampling AA only (doesn't matter with one), the bloom effect and contrast still works great when enabled, AND the picture does not become blurry. Can someone confirm or deny that they experience this? I've tried to play aro…

I do most if not all my flying in the UK with the odd excursion into mainland Europe. Can anyone recommend a good Terrain Mesh (payware or freeware). I have FS9, Windows 7, AS6.5., UT Europe, Gnd Environment and Flight Environment. FSGlobal seems overkill for my needs.Bill

HiAfter few OOM during long flights I decide to try XP 64 bit.After days of reinstalling back to testing.This time I installed only scenery and aircraft I fly ;-). UTE+few major airports in Germany, UK and USA.Started at EDDF 2008, with PMDG MD11 and without AI aircraft (traffic 0%)Mem usage around 770000K-860000K. Hi all,I've searched similar threads in the forums, but couldn't find one that pertained to my particular issue. I hadn't played on the sim for a few days, and today turned it on and the frame rates kept dropping from 20fps (where it's tagged) to 3fps, and back up again. It would happen every time I shifted the view to 'spot', and continue to lag in performance for a few minutes before going back up to 20. This would continue until returning to cockpit view. I just re installed this scenery and I have a quick question. I maually installed this scenery (I don't really like using installers) and there are 2 bgl files that I do not know what to do with. The file names are canuk_libob.bgl and NAM_seasons.bgl. Does anyone know where these files go? When I had this scenery on the old computer I must of missed those 2 files cause I did not have them saved anywhere.

I have tried everything to get rid of blurried ground when flying low.anyone knows if tweeking with anisotropic filtering in your card settings is of any help?, if so, please elaborate on it.thanks in advance.veggie

I've just re-installed everything into Windows 7. I'm now getting the dreaded FSSound.dll error on opening FS9. A search has shown me how to correct this with the [OLDMODULES] method. I'm now having difficulty finding the FS9.cfg folder. Would somebody please advise me where I find it in W7.Much appreciatedMeeko

It's mainly Copenhagen Kastrup that I'm talking about, which does have a freeware counterparts, but to me it looks like a 2002 scenery (which it probably is). So, I've been looking at this package. It's old, it includes 9 airports, and it's 20 euros. There are no good, recent reviews either to help me out, but what I can see is that the buildings really don't look bad at all, but the ground textures are very 2002-like…

OK this is driving me batty and i can't figure it out. For some reason my latest install of FS9 on Windows 7 is acting goofy. Regardless of the aircraft (default or 3rd party) if I attempt to change the amount of fuel loaded in the aircraft under fuel and payload, about 10 seconds after I OK the changes the fuel resets itself back to 100%.I've tried running FS9 in admin mode, changing the security settings on the FS9 folder and sub folders to give full access to any user on my pc, etc.. Still nothing has fixed it and this is really causing problems when I'm trying to fly realistic flights for my VA.Any help or suggestions is greatly appreciated!Jason

Hi,I just wanted to post this because the UUEE scenery topic has just elevated.This problem was a thorn in my side about two years ago(Ongoing CTD's) when simming in certain parts of Europe and S. America.Always during approach into airfields in Europe and SA, The OOM issue comes to play. My simming was limited only in the US.This Moscow Sheremetyevo (UUEE) Scenery on this page( http://www.pas.com.ru/ivao/scenery.htm ) has two files. S-E.bgl and N-W.bgl, Which would be installed in the main scenery folder.These two files was a culprit for me. This has been on my mind for a long time. Like most of you I have to read this forum every couple of days to keep up with whats going on and to try to fix problems that pop up from time to time with FS 2004. I've been "flying" since FS98 and what a lot of changes since then. There are a lot of really, really smart people that read this fourm. Unfortunally, I'm not one of them. I am retired and do fly a lot but that does not mean that I know how to fix a lot of the problems that people ask here. After much search and experiments I am looking for an indication as to where I should look for a user-friendly program or tool which will allow the random addition of ILS to runways which one most frequently uses in FS9.Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

I need a scenery of Kastrup airport in Copenhagen, and the Swedflight website says that they have gone out of business and sales are discontinued.Is there anywhere else I can buy it? Or does someone know of a different Kastrup scenery around?thanks

Out of a clear blue sky,all my keyboard commands are inop, i.e. w key, p key, esc key. Tried a different keyboard. Same problem. Tried FSX and the keyboard works fine. Any ideas?
