I can never remember and now I can't find the thread from a couple of years ago, but should the slider be moved to the "Performance" end or toward "Quality" in ATIs CCC? Thanks guys.

Anybody have any experience taking ch yoke apart? I need to replace the nuts that are stripped which hold the unit to the desk. I have looked at the wierd slotted heads on the screws and so far have not dared to try it. Maybe there is another way to secure it but I haven't come up with any ideas yet. Suggestions?Don

I have flown and enjoyed FS9 since it was first released. I recently re-installed it on my new computer and set up several AI traffic files. Upon landing this evening, I noticed that the flashing beacons on the AI aircraft waiting for take off all flash at the same time. I recall reading a post on AVSIM a long time ago about modifying an effects file or config file to get the flashing beacons on the AI aircraft to flash at different rates. Hope I'm not imagining that. If someone can steer me in the right direction I would be most grateful! Thanks in advance!

Hello all I am having trouble trying to find out why the Toronto Maple Leafs textures work fine and the Philidelphia textures do not show in the Aircraft selection list at all. Can anyone see the problem because I cannot. Am reinstalling fs9 following a major Windows XP failure but on reinstalling The Very Singapore (Samsoft) I find that there is a problem with the coastline around Singapore, with some of the autogen buildings of the city now being off the coast in the sea. This had not been a problem for me with the old installation of the same scenery and I wonder if there is a patch/fix out there which I have forgotten about, although I can't seem to find it on searching. Hi, it appears that with my new joystick plugged in, FS9.exe will not go away, in other words, it stays visible in the Task Manager after having closed FS9 normally. With the new joystick not plugged in, no problem. I just got the Logitech Force 3D Pro, working fine so far, except for this issue.By the way, does anyone know how I can launch the Logitech Gaming Software/Logitech Profiler straight to the system tray? The "/noui" trick doesn't seem to work, even though Logitech put that behind the startup item...

I just took (on pause to type this) off from Detroit Metro (Michigan), bound for Moncton, (New Brunswick, Canada) running under AS 6.5, REX2004, GE Pro, AISmooth...and it just can't get any better with that 'crew'. Hello!So, I have pretty much always flown Airbuses since I am a big fan. However, to expand my basic knowledge, I wanted to try a Boeing for a change. So I went ahead and got 757-200 from PSS. Loving the plane, however one major issue that I encountered. After ATC has lined me up to intercept the Localizer to 16R at KSEA. To my surprise, I could not find the dang NAV frequency at first, then I realized it was directly input through the FMC. Ok, so I have my ILS runway freq. in as well as my Course. but now on the EADI I HAD NO LOCALIZER NEEDLE ! mhmh, I was able to see the glideslope/localizer points, but no moving needle. I have been running FS9 on windows 7 for about a month now and have come accross this issue.When I am in 2d cockpit view, if i left-click the mouse anywhere on the screen, any taxi-ing a/c; or dynamic scenery;or cockpit instruments will momentarily stutter (less than a second), then carry on as normal. But there seems to be a cumulative affect here, because if I keep on doing it eventually the screen will freeze completely and I have to shut FS9 down. Just setting an aircraft up for flight (resizing the throttle quadrant;moving the atc window to the top of the screen; using the FMC) can cause the screen to freeze completely.While this stuttering/eventual freeze is occurin…

Welcome!I have felt like flying a bit around Spain lately. I decided to start with Madrid, as there is a very nice Barajas scenery by Aerosoft (SimWings). As I always appreciate nice visuals during my departures and approaches, I thought I would get some nice landscape of Madrid.There is a huge freeware addon of VFR Madrid (available as 'vfr-mad.zip' at Flightsim). But pure photoscenery never appeals to me unless it has some nice autogen on it. Hiho!I got some SB4 freezes when it has to show traffic.I'm using FS9 on Win7 with WideFS to SB4 on WinXP.I have a Netgear WGR614 router, and Avast Antivirus. Windows Firewall is fully disabled.Does anyone know how to solve a problem like this? I have tried to find information on the VATSIM forum but nobody answers.
