During a flight from Frankfurt to Seoul last night it struck me that it would be nice to be able to cut out a portion of your flight and to return to your captain's seat say an our prior to landing. I know that you can place your aircraft anywhere in the world. But since I use Radar Contact said contact would be lost. Also the fuel load and time would have to be altered manually. Is there a tool out there that does these things automatically? MattPS: I realize this kind of defeats the purpose of long haul flights but I love to fly the big iron on realistic routes yet don't have the time to hang in there for five hours straight :-)

Hello,I used to intalled the packages with no problem, now that I deleted my hard drive to install a fresh copy of windows 7 it is not working, I followed the instruction and everything seem fine, it install fine, but when Ilaunch FS9 I don't see any of the planes from the package.Can someone help me?Thanks

Hi,I jsut bought a new computer with windows 7. Installed FS 9 and downloaded the FS9.1 upgrade patch. As i want to install it, it always tells me that the version 9.1 has already been installed - But its not as i check. What shall i do ?Thanks Marek from LOWW

I sold my disk FS2004 on the internet, but now the buyer is emailing me for the CD Key? I don't remember needing a CD key to install, only disk 4 or 1 to be in the computer to play. Am I correct no CD key in FS2004?Thanks

Hi all!I'm trying to pimp my CLS DC-10-30 by adding the great jet engine smoke effects by Nick Needham.Everything is ok so far, just the effect placement is not so easy. Yesterday I installed the "Gate Keeper" and I am trying to use it in FS2004. Part of the instrutions for it says, " Highlite the line in the grid that you want. Click the SET GATE BUTTON. " I do NOT have or see a "Set gate button". What is he talking about ??I am also using, FDC, RC4 and FS Build. I put the arrival gate number into RC4 and tried to put it into the Gate Keeper program, but I didn't see that "Set Gate' button. When I arrived at my destination airport RD4 told me to go to the gate that I had selected ( before the flight) but I don't know what intry that I made, made this happen. Was it when I put the arrival gate into RC4 OR into the Gate Keeper OR both…

I just installed UK 2000 Manchester Xtream and during the install I was asked if I had AES installed. I did NOT check this block as I had NOT made this arpt active in AES. After the install, I went to the AES window and I was going to make EGCC (AES) active because I already had 11 credits. When I looked for EGCC ( in AES) to make it active, it was NOT there. I went to the AES website and it was NOT listed as being available. Can anyone explain this? Why would the "install" ask me if I had AES if this install of EGCC was NOT available. Thanks jerrycwo4

Hi Folks!I have a problem with upgrading my AES V2.04 to V2.05.After upgrading Aes told me that all my allready activated Credits are wrong, so Aes will function only again if I enter two correct serials.Then I contacted the Aerosoft Support. They told me to deinstall Aes completly, than to reinstall version 2.04 and finaly to uprade again.The problem is that I deleted the v2.04 exe. file and Aerosoft is also unable to send me these file.I tryed to use Google to find it but without any success(There are only cracked versions :( ).Now my Question to you: If someone have this file on his PC or if someone knows where I can still download the 2.04 version could he send it to …

I have just bought a new computer and am reinstalling FS2004. My old PC was dying fast, and so I backed up my whole FS2004 installation, including all addons, onto an external hard disk in preparation for the new installation. My old PC ran Windows XP SP3, but my new one runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit. It is based on an Intel Core i7 860, 4 GB RAM, GeForce GTS 240 and 500 GB hard disk. I installed FS from the CDs and then added the patch for FS9.1, and after that installed the No CD patch. Hi all,I am considering purchasing Ultimate Terrain USA, but have a couple of quick questions before I part with the cash. I am aware that lots of the original FS2004 landmarks are placed incorrectly when UT is installed due to the high degree of accuracy that UT gives, and I know that there is an option in the config tool of UT to remove these landmarks. Does this make the FS world look depleted? For example is New York just a city of autogen rather than having recognisable buildings? Ok I looked up and down over the internet the last week. Whenever I click the Real World Weather the sim just crashes to desktop no code or anything just crashes to desktop. I found one item which says it might be a corrupted fs9.cfg file. But it has been archived. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks

Greetings. I have been finally been bitten by the scenery creation bug after all these years of simming. I took the plunge a few weeks ago and finally downloaded the RWY12 program. My first project was to create the US Forrest Service Helipad (K4ML) that is located in the Catalina Mountains outside of Tuscon, AZ in Mt. Lemmon. Using Afcad and RWY 12 and some photo scenery to line everything up, I made a nice little recreation of it. Now I want to create all the helipads in Tucson and other cities using the data from a website I saw a while back that list all helipads across the country being either hospital, police, or other helipads. I do have UTE, but for the rest of the world, I have nothing. This is especially irritating on places I'd like to fly to, like Aruba. I rememeber stumbling across this a couple of years ago, but isn't there some freeware scenery out there that is photoreal in nature, and covers just about all of New Zealand? Anybody have a clue about this, or did I just dream it? =)

Hey,I found this problem yesterday. My addon scenery ground textures are flickering. It's very annoying... It didn't do that in default KSEA airport. I have spotted that flickering at EGLL, EBBR and EKCH (all of them have addon). I can see the flickering when I move around with the camera. They are huge white "triangles" which are located in the ground.???Aleksi Lind

While PSS Dash 8 is great, I think it is now outdated.Do any of you peeps think there might be somebody that dares to create a new Dash 8? Would it be for FSX only? Or both FS9 and FSX?Is there a more current Dash 8 that I don't know about?

Hi,Yesterday, I flew a flight in Finland from Helsinki (EFHK) to Kuusamo (EFKS) for my virtual airline in FS9. I flew under IFR rules using the default ATC (no control in IVAO at the time). Kuusamo does not have a manned tower, just an AFIS frequency so I was wondering what would happen about the approach. In the event, on entering the EFPS (Finalnd North) sector, the ATC just cancelled my IFR plan... FS9 ATC had been 'acting wierd' anyway so I'm not sure if that's the normal procedute of the default ATC in this scenario, to just cancel the IFR upon entering the final sector?Cheers,Geoff

When I fly the Dornier 328, the 2D panel is shrunk down to 50%. I have to drag/strech the top of the panel up to the top of the screen everytime I load the aircraft. I've tried reinstalling the panel but it doesn't change. Does anyone know why this happens? How can I fix this? Thanks.

Hi, I am having problems with my headings. I load up PMDG 747 (FS9) into London's Heathrow airport, using UK2000 scenery. I'm dead straight on the runway, i know from personal & simulation expirence that the heading should be 272. But i'm showing 275. Also when i put my departure runway, you can tell the heading's are off due to the aircraft being facing away from the white marker showing approach path for dep/arr. My SID/STAR's are all up to date using Navigraph AIRAC cycle 909. Is there something i need to re-configure?CheersJames

Hi everyone, over the last year I have got an out of memeory error about 3 ti,es while using FS9. I use it alot so I thought it was strange. Any suggestions on tracking whta it may be?? I usually run active sky,Flight Environment or Real Environment and I can't seem to pin it doen to any one particular thng except maybe active sky. Strtange thing is I just replaced my old 7900 GT 128MB89 card with a new BFG 9800GT 1g card and its actually no improvment, it evne has lower power requirments then the older card, thats a whole nother story. Any help would be great and thanks in advance.Shayne :( :(
