any help on this? i have contacted wilco, but no reply, i have followed thier directions on thier site, heres hte thing, my airbus aircraft USED to fly w/out any CTD's after doing what they said, but now, i cannot even launch an airbus aircraft, i read the diagnosis, its the gauges, the gauges make CTD and stop FS9 from responding, any help on this? Hey, does anyone know how to kiss the runway without having to dive the plane so low to get the right altitude? I like using the ILS approach and I love the glide slope, but how do I make sure the plane doesn't have to do a nose dive to descent (yes I want to use full flaps)?

I just finished installing UT FS2004 USA on my computer. I think this was the hardest, most difficult download/installed I have ever made in 12 years on computers. I just dont see why it has to be so complicated !!!! I even installed the latest update 1.30 ( I think). Could someone please tell me where on the computer to look to VERIFY that I have version 1.30 installed? I cannt find it. Thanks jerrycwo4

Is there anyway i could add a push back to: LEVELD763CS757PMDG738? What fully gives you a push back. I know some POSKY aircraft have it, but is there a download for a tug so i can add it to some of my favourate aircrafts on FS2004

What would cause AI Aircraft to land 1-3 miles BEFORE the runway? Is it the .air file, flight plan, or the airport itself? Or maybe something else I'm not considering? It's a bit disconcerting to begin pulling onto the runway and have a B737 come screaming out of the weeds and onto the runway in front of me. :(

I know that a few here - thinking about Vololiberista mainly - use FsMETAR for weather generation. I am intrigued about trying it as I have always been interested in more control about weather depiction. What i truly like about AS6.5 though is the historic weather function that allows to recreate real flights happened in the past using the real weather that was happening at the time. I imagine you could not really achieve that using FSMETAR as in my reading it seems like a strictly real time tool. Can someone please confirm this or the opposite?Thx,Alex

Iam refering to when your sat on an airliner. If youre sat infront of the engines you can hear the engine sounds, like spool up and the buzz saw sound. If your nehind the engines all you hear is the BOOM from the exhaust pressure. The same effect is also on the exterior oustide of the aircraft, like a doppler effect. I know in FSX some sound developers have created this, but can you use this effect in FS2004?

Hi to all, I would like to know hoe to get realistic reflections from aircraft lights. I have the shockwave package but it does not cut the mustard for me. Basically can somebody tell me the following. 1. Can i edit lights on aircraft which have wing flex. (Is there any thing in the CFG or anything i can do?) 2. I was watching some night takeoffs, and i noticed that the stobe lights reflect on the ground. Can i do a tweak to make this effect in FS2004 3. How can i make the anti collision (BCN) lights reflect on parts of the: wing,engines and fuselage of the aircraft? 4. If i open the effects folder up, it comes up with all the lighting effects. I have a pirated version of FS2004, and I was wondering whether it would affect multiplayer ability. I lived in Indonesia for three years, so if I wanted a real version of FS2004, I would have to wait three years for it. I knew it was pirated and bought it in Indonesia, a country where THERE ARE NO SUCH THINGS AS REAL GAMES, the reason for the long wait (if I wanted the real version). Because of the lack of accessibility, I had no choice, so NO MORAL SPEECHES.

Hi AllJust found that the buildings have vanished from UNNT 2008 scenery. The ground textures too are gone, all I see of the terminal is the Jetways... I've re-installed the scenery, I loaded the original scenery.cfg file with only UNNT added and the issue remains. Any thoughts as always gratefully received.Has anyone else had this problem?PeaceRen

I was having problems at Tashkent airport with CTD I found out it was a AI plane causing the crashes. Now how do I know what texture is causing the problem? Is there a tool to use? Is it the size of the texture file? What exactly am I looking for?I narrowed the problem down to one of my Gulfstream 4 paints, one of my Learjet 60 painsts, a Yak42 paint, or 2 airline paints.

I'm mostly flying in Scandinavia ATM, which is pretty well covered scenery wise. I'm flying both GA and short hops in jets and turboprops. I'm looking to expand my "horizon" a bit and would appreciate some input. Is your preferred area well covered with scenery or is there some interesting or challenging to it.-Peter

I was using the Leonardo MD80. On touchdown at KDAL the left main gear sunk into the runway and I skidded to a stop with the left wing dragging. I confirmed that there were no landing gear failures (or any failures for that matter) produced by FSPassengers, FS9, or Leo MD80. So, I have to believe it was an FS9 bug/glitch of some kind.I restarted FS9 and did a quick takeoff from KDFW and landed on the same runway at KDAL, and it worked just fine.I do not use KDAL-specific scenery, but have UT USA and FSG mesh installed.Again, it was only the left gear; the nose and right were fine.Anyone else experience anything like this?James

Hello. I was hoping someone might be able to answer a question for me regarding the Lear 25 by Lars Roennig using the panel by Horst Paetzold. It seems that the beacon lights are controlled by the taxi light switch and the actual beacon light switch does nothing. Does anyone happen to know if it's possible to correct this? Thanks!

Hi People,Since i have anew computer (windows 7), i had to install everything new. Now i am plugging my Virtual pilot Pro and go to the gamecontroller - Than i start calibrating - Yoke is fine but when i go to the Throttle - its starts from the middle already and when i increase the throttle it goes down instead up. What shall i do.Please help Marek

Hi,I did a search without yielding the information I am looking for. I put thousands of hours and just about every addon possible in FS9, but changed computers and have enjoyed FSX for quite a while. The reason I am writing here is to ask for your help so I can help someone else. Today I am going over to a simmers house to help him get set up in FS9. Does FPS Limiter or Nhancer work in FS9 and if so, what are the recommended settings? How about setting Affinity mask or any other tweaks? I am sure this post is redundant but I hope that someone can answer. Thank you.

Hey guys, I've just created an account with AVSIM forums. I've got a problem with the controls in Flight Simulator 2004. Whenever I try turning left or right on the ground/taxiway, the plane doesn't turn. However, when I'm on the air, the controls are fine. What's the problem and how can I fix it? This problem applies to all aircraft including the default ones. I've tried changing the controls and some other stuff, but the problem still persists.

Hi all,Well after receiving very cold feedback to my original post regarding running FS on a Mac, I went the PC route and have just finished building my rig (i7 860 OC 3.9GHz, Super OC GTX260, Win7)Yesterday I loaded up FS2004 and made the tweaks called for in Nicks excellent guide. I also downloaded a trial copy of UK2000 Heathrow scenery just to try and give the machine something to do! However, with most sliders to the right and Nicks settings in the cfg file I was getting an almost static 60fps flying around Heathrow in the C172 (substantially more when pointing at the sky of course!). I'm not sure what I was expecting really but seeing as similar setups get good fps …

I remembered I conquered stutters back in the day but I can't recall how. Isn't there a certain cfg edit that can reduce/eliminate them?

Hello. I've been recently having OOM errors using FS9 on Windows XP64. I've reading some things saying that I need to apply this fix to the EXE file.So, I downloading CFF Explorer...opened the file and checked the box to allow it to use more than 2GB. It wants me to save the file and overwrite the original, but when I do that, it tells me that it can't overwrite it. Is there a step I'm missing.I'm using FS9.1I've also tried a self-updater I think from the same creator of CFF Explorer, and that file tells me it cannot open the EXE file at all.Any help would be appreciated.Robert
