I'm looking for the Vista OZ Aus scenery...when doing a google search, all I get it FTX scenery for FSX...anyone know where to find it?

Is it possible to delete/modify the JF 757 Pro sound folder and add a payware (TSS) or freeware (Emil Serafino) 757 sound folder without dorking something up? I'd like to add Emil Serafino Jr's superb 752-RR sound to the JF 757 Pro host sound.rr folder. Emil's sound folder has the .wav files plus a sound.cfg file--do I simply delete the JF 757 sound.rr folder and add Emil's? There are other sounds within the JF 757 sound folder/sound.cfg (like GPWS/GS etc) that I don't see in Emils' folder.Any assistance is greatly appreciated.Thanks!Rich Perry

I am using Markus Brunner's AI Contrails program, and I want to see more contrails occur in FS9. The program asks for the "Maximum contrail temperature," and I wonder if anyone can tell me which "Maximum temperature" produces the most contrails. The range is from -1 through -30, and more... My FS9 was working perfectly until a few days ago, when for some reason the only view I have is the cockpit view. This happened after installing Tileproxy, but the problem is the same whether I run Tileproxy or not. When I switch view the sound changes accordingly, but all I see is my cockpit. The image is also frozen on the first image that loads. The controls in the cockpit work fine, which means that the cockpit tells me speed and altitude and everything, but all I can see is that darn runway... Hi guys, I have been trying all weekend so far to find an answer to a question that I have. Is there any way for Super Traffic Board to work in fs2004? I have Traffic View Board and I am glad to have that. But wow, have you seen what Super Traffic Board can do. I really would pay any cost to have it it fs2004 but I am at the end of rope in doing searches on the net. Does anyone know the answer to this or maybe suggest something similar to it, maybe there is a project coming up that I don't know about. Hi allI have been trying to remember a name of a program. This program changes the visibility of AI in the a/c selection menu in fs9. For the life of me I can't recall what its called. What it does is allows you to change the a/c config of the AI.Also, one other thing, what was the WOAI d/l file name for British Midlands. Sure I have this but can't find it on my disc's.Sure this must be an age thing going on here :(Many thanks

Following a virus attack, I have done a clean install of Vista and FS9. However, before installing any addons, I have noticed that whilst using the default Cessna cycling views leaves an unworkable 2D panel overlapping both tower and spot views.I have reinstalled FS9 and agin I am getting the same problem.Any help?

Ok, so I know that we originally had a single FS9 and FSX forum that was subsequently broken out into the separate FS9/FSX forums we have today. I happen to love the separate forums and would not want to see that change at all... :( With that being said, there are also a lot of add-ons that are still being released for both sims... AES, ASE, EGCC, EHAM all within the past couple of weeks to name a few. I think it might be cool to have an additional forum for some add-ons or topics that cover both sims. The other day someone was looking for help installing a gauge ( GPS or auto pilot) in the C-130. I can't find their old post. HiCan anyone one tell me were I could get replacement cloud textures so I can get better frame rates, I used to have Chris Willis's textures but no longer have the file, and it is unavailable in the file libary, they really improved my frames at the the time. When flying to the canary islands FS9 stops and reloads the scenery, and then carries on as if nothing has happend.I have had aerosoft canary islands installed for years, but have just recently installed the canary sim scenery also.There must be some conflict between the two, but as i recall the canary sim install asked if the aerosoft scenery was also installed and adjusted the files to suit.Anyone have any ideas what to do, or do i need to uninstall the canary sim scenery. steve

The pictures show the problem. I use Flight Environment for water textures and UT USA as well. The location is south of Florida but I believe this happens everywhere in my FS9. No other custom landclass used. Any input is appreciated.

So I have had an SSD that I picked up on my travels laying around and wanted to see if I could somehow move my entire FS directory to the new drive while maintaining my old drive letter and registry settings. I don't want to use the SSD for anything but FS and the last thing I wanted to do was to have to reinstall everything. To no avail, I "had" FS installed on the same drive as the OS so you can not assign that drive a new letter. Here's some FS9 weirdness that I've never experienced before. I have a fresh install of FS9 on a new computer which has been up and running for about a week. Today, when switching to spot plane view, there was no engine sound on the default C-182 I was flying. Sound is fine in VC and 2D mode, just not spot plane mode. Also, it appears to be just the engine sound is out. I deployed a notch of flaps while in spot plane view and could hear the servo motor whir while the flaps extended. I changed planes while in flight (Carenado C-210 and Piper Dakota), both of which played engine sounds just fine in spot view. However, I also noticed the same anomaly in a Jet Cities B-717 fr…

This is bizarre.I thought maybe it was the add on graphics or the active sky. but i disabled active sky and it still does it. I disabled toronto's airport scenery and it still did it.I am flying from Detroit to Toronto, right when im outside Toronto the game crashes with no explanation, no report to microsoft or anything, it just disappears! I turned off pretty much everything, the active sky and any other add on i had going and it still does it when i load up the auto-saved flight. I recently upgraded my pc to Windows 7. (brand new system with Win.7 pre-installed) (Formerly I used them in XP and they were fine.When I go to load my old MAAM discs for the DC-3 and the Mitchell into FS9 they both install OK except for one thing.I keep getting a message that FS9 cannot install the Maam gauge file and it won't let me proceed past that point.
