To all,I am running fs9.1 on a Ggabyte GA-EX38T-DQ6 motherboard, powered by an Intel E8500 oclocked at 4.10 Ghz and running windows 7 64bit Ultimate.There's 4 Gb ram on this system and Fs9.1. exe has been tweaked to accept the large memory adresses.Graphics come through an Nvidia GTX275 on two 24 inch monitors.There are some airport addon's from BluePrint, Imagine Simulations, FlyTampa.... and the 737 from PMDG.Weather is provided by ActiveSky advanced over a network and ATC is handled by RadarContact 4.3.Now my problem:I am trying to fly from KSEA to KSFO (KSEA summa7.LKV RBL OAK KSFO) with a 737-800 but everytime I get near KSFO fs9 stops working.I made sure there are n…

I have a copy of the old "Shadow Gauge" that lets you turn your aircrafts shadow (and all other aircrafts around you) OFF and ON by just clicking a toggle switch that you put into your aircraft's panel by modifying its panel.cfg file. If I could do it, anybody can do it. I did NOT make this gauge. I only saved a copy of it when I first installed it a few years ago. Back then I flew 99.9 % of the time in the Chase view mode, and not in the VC mode that I now do with 3 monitors. It really looked strange to be overcast and have a bright shadow under your plane. ) You know you do get better frame rates when this shadow is turned OFF. Now its easy to turn off and on. I d…

Please can anyone tell me where I can get a copy of Joshua Broadwater's patch "patch_177161.zip" to incorprate the excellent foxtrot sierra KBWI into the Megascenery pack?It's one of the ones that comes up "OOPS" on the AVSIM library and I can't find it anywhere else.I really would like to find this because the airports in this package seem to be the default ones and when combining KBWI without the patch there are bits and bobs sticking up all over the place.If anyone has it, would you please be kind enough to send it to me?ThanksRgdsLee

Recently I installed the newest version of RC4 but it is not working correctly a lot of the times. About every 2-3rd flight when instructed to contact the tower, ground or someone else that person will not answer, they just keep telling me to contact _____ and I key the #1 key, but they never will answer. Also strange, sometimes the radio will automaticly tune it's self and sometimes I have to do it myself. Nothing is consistant ! Of course after 15 minutes of fighting to get the radio to answer up, my whole flight is ruined and I stop the whole mess. I really like flying with RC4 but at this current state it is totaly un sat. I've got a couple add-on planes where the heading and/or course adjustment is in 10 degree increments instead of 1 degree. Additionally, although not as annoying, some add-on planes have the altitude set adjust go in 1000' increments instead of 100'. I know I've seen something on how to fix that somewhere on some board and now, naturally, I can't find it. Why didn't I print it out when I saw it before, you ask? Oh, I don't know...I got distracted because the cat came in wanting to be scratched, my wife asked me to kill a spider, or maybe it was the other way around. Hi guysMy zoom in my 2D panel is always set to 1.00 but i've read some people hinting to set it to 0.75 or 0.50 (then having bether textures). Is it correct or not ? Should i keep my 1.00 zoom setting ?Jc

I have a BAE 146-200 (Avro RJ-100) by Eurowings and I recently replaced its panel with Matthias Lieberecht's (great) panel. Everything works fine except the wing spoilers : They only deploy just a few inches up and that's all. Since this is obviously due to some incompatibility between Lieberecht's panel and Eurowings' design, I would be very thankful to anyone who can give me a hint on the necessary changes needed (panel or/and aircraft cfgs, perhaps) in order to fix this incompatibility. Hi There,I have double building using WMKK Kualalumpur airport from project KLIA scenery It seems that the original default building is doubling the new building.In the read me scenery there is no exclude part.In the AFCAD, there is 2 bgl for signs and 1 for the airport so no conflict there.Does any one have this issue and if they did, please let me know how can I resolve it.Thanking you in advanceHani

Hey,Is there a way of speeding up the AI traffic which takes off.At present the AI traffic is cleared to line up then to take off. So after take off clearence the AI traffic begins rolling slowly , then stops for a while, then accelerates for take off.Can it be changed or tweaked or is it just the way FS9 works?best Regads

If I missed something and the solutions are already given, I do appologise :( I've recently installed the Armi Project VTBS 2009 pack. Scenery is near perfect to the real situation at BKK. SID's/STAR's are exactly as in RL aviation( I know this due to contacts at my job which brings me in contact with Cpt./Fo so I can get my hands on RL flightplans with notes from them on actual ATC aproaches)Now my problems are these:Flying PSS-777 : On final aproach Rwy 19R the allignment with 19R is about 2000ft off centre. I was at Tashkent airport at night testing out a new scenery and my sim crashed. It doesn't happen during the day and it happens with add on scenery and the default scenery. The sim loads fine but after a few seconds at the airport the sim freezes then crashes. What could be causing this?

Hey everyone,I would like to give fsx a try on my laptop but i'm a bit unsure if it will run at all.Here are my specs:Acer Aspire 6530g, AMD Turion X2 Dual Core RM70 2.0Ghz, ATI HD 3650 512MB dedicated with hypermemory, 4GB ram, 250hdd, win 7 64bit.I have fs2004 running perfectly with many addons and i'm having between 28fps -30fps most of the time even at the mega airports with traffic 100%. It is installed on its own partition.Should i partition the hardrive for fsx??? Will i be able to run fsx on good settings i.e LOD and mesh details 100%, dont care about the water effects, autogen and complex scenery on normal, traffic 80% and what about if i get some mega airports??…

hello,is there any way for to modify FS ATC to say all of the callsigns instead of just saying the flight number? i have noticed this with: Swiss, Jetblue, easyjet, air berlin, thomson, turkish airlines, emirates, and so forth and more...FS ATC does not say the callsigns, which confuses me with other flight numbers. any thoughts?

Does anyone noteced that there is DOUBLE layer of cirrus from time to time? I'm using AS with REX. :(

So this is something I've been wondering for a while... All of us know about the FTX textures that have been released for Australia and we've all seen the great screenshots that make you wonder if somebody just downloaded them from airliners.net.But now I've been curious if these same textures could be used in fs9. Sure they'd be displayed at 4.9m/pixel but they could still be a drastic improvement. Or is there some other compatibility problem that is standing in the way? If anyone knows that they can be used in fs9 please speak up I may end up buying them if so...

On the LEVLD 763 when i deactivate the reverse thrust, the reverse thrust doors stays open for about 10 seconds until the engies are at idle and have spooled down. I want to have this effect on my CS757. On the CS757 the doors when deactivated just slam shut straight away and then because of the effect the aircraft slightly speeds back up until the engines are back down to idle, when it then starts to slow rapidly again. So if i can do somthing in the CFG file for this, it would be great and more realistic. Anyone done this before???

I have been using Vroute as a flight planning utility for some time now. While I really like it on the whole, what I do not like is that there aren't routes for ALL possible flights, and that you need an internet connection to use it. I have recently looking into other flightplanners, but found only FSCommander to be of the best value for me personally (FSBuild is rather old and isn't updated with navdata, for example). However, on it's web page, I couldn't find the best information possible about its abilities. For example, I'd like to know to what FMC formats can I export my flightplans?Can people answer that question and offer any opinions on the product? You may recom…

Hey guys,A new problem has popped up for me. All of a sudden my ATC sounds are gone. I didn't do any big changes that would have messed with that area. Also, sometimes some aircraft sounds won't play. What part of the FS folder is this info kept in? Default ATC sounds? Can anyone tell me on what CD they would be found so I can just try to restore them in that way? I know there is a site that has maps of the FS CDs but I couldn't find it in a quick google search.Thanks,Danny
