Hello AllI have the Bill Grabowski Panel installed on all my ERJs.I added some wing views(strange ones the wing moves but not the view)anyway with any wing view I dislike the rear view if it is just a pair of disembodied wings(which this set is).I have managed with other aircraft(with the disembodied) by tinkering about to add a cabin view(or flight deck door ) from another aircraft, but despite mucho tinkering file moving CFG altering and reviewing of results have had no joy with the ERJ .I have two cabins I could add one from PFokker and another one(not strictly accurate,but better than the disembodied wing thing.Is there anybody out there who has done this and if s…

Anyone able to get Robco-30 to work in FS9? I know that there is a Robco-20 made just for FS9 but it is much harder to use (using the virtual panel) than the -30 version. I love the -30 in FSX and would love to port it into FS9 if possible.ThanksEd

Hope someone can help with this.Fairly frequently FS now hangs when I go to select the FS flight plan. There seems to be nothing short of shutting down & restarting FS that works. I use FSNav to complie & then export to FS so I re-installed FSNav, but that hasn't really helped.Anyone have any suggestions, ideas or a solution?ThanksBrian

As a user of FS products for several years now, Im one of those few who are still unable to run FSX at an acceptable level of FPS- and my machine is very high-end with more than enough RAM, video, hard drive space and speed. (Intel Core i7 920, nVidia 8800GT @ 1680x1050x32, Vista 32 with installed 6 GB physical memory).So my main Sim is FS9 for obvious reasons, and I have dropped a significant amount of money on spicing up my FS9 world to be as realistic as possible. Hi guys, I'm running Windows Vista and i have installed FS9 with everyone's great tips here. However when i start to do a flight and i browse in spot mode i notice a different looking style to the water with black texture...It looks horrible like somethings really wrong. I have a pic below showing, I really hope someone here can help me.I just edited here, the second picture is what i see pressing keypad number 6 to look out the aircraft, The difference in the look is bugging me so much, Will be very very grateful if someone can help me.. I recently purchased REX and am very pleased though I have a few questions. When I create a flight plan through REX I know I have to manually put the .pln file into the fs2004 folder but when I extract the .pln folder from REX theres a few other files in there aswell such as weather files. What role to these files play? My next question is do I leave the built in weather settings in fs2004 alone because REX has already loaded in weather for me?

1. I have the Algiers add on scenery made by Riad Ghenim and I have a real bad problem with the default textures bleeding throught the scenery. Does anyone know of a fix for this problem?(The scenery is found on Flightsim algiers7.zip and was found on avsim but not anymore)2. I have ISD's Milan Malpensa scenery plus the service pack that corrected the ground flickering/disappearingat the airport. In the service pack the parking file for AI is named AP9-ISD_LIMC-spl.bgl now can I use ADE to fix up the AI parking without messing up the scenery? I tried using AFCAD but that just messed up the scenery.Thank you very much for your help.

For testing purposes i want to re-install FS2004 but i want to do it on my other hard drive.I have read on another website that this is not recommended. Is it possible to do? If so is there a resource that will tell me how to do it properly? I dont want to confuse the computer and i dont want to mess up the original copy i already have installed on the C: drive.Thanks

Ok, so for a long time now I have been experiencing less than stellar performance in FS9 and I could not figure out why. For a while I thought it was my 3d Clouds but while I was waiting for the new monitor I did some playing with the 23 I had. (totally off topic but the Acer 27 inch at 2048*1152 is a beautiful monitor...So I usually leave FPS unlocked as I can almost always maintain the 60FPS limit of my VSync. In certain situations it felt like FS was really struggling though. I never use SHFT Z so I just figured it was some chop. I also noticed it was worse with TrackIR but attributed it to the "head shake" built into TIR. So yesterday I was just playing around a…

I have FE for fs9 that I bought from flight1 a good long time ago, I really like it, I think it is great but just wondered if it is worth it moving over to rex instead?thanksBS

Hi all,I have recently switched from FS2000 to FS2004 (yes, finally) and I've a tough time getting my 2nd monitor/screen to hold the left side view. Hat switch and num-4 can switch the view temporarily to the side view, but will switch back to front view when done whereas in FS2000, side view stays there until it's switched back. Any advice is greatly appreciated !

Hi.I was wondering if anyone had this issue from time to time, and if they managed to fix it in any way.I get it now and then.Was there a common cause, or was it related to a scenery file?I have also read that some think it may be a missing or corrupt texture file if there aren't any empty folders anywhere on your system.Anyone have any clues at all.Many thanks for any thoughts.

Hi folksI posted a request for help early in January (Problems with Autogen) but have had little response so far (many thanks to those that did). Sorry to ressurect this problem, but if I cannot get it fixed I will have to re-install FS9 (again) which I am loathe to do.In essence, it seems like my autogen is only appearing at very short range (approximately 1nm). Other scenery objects (landmark buildings such as New York, airport scenery addons and custom-built scenery objects) seem to appear at normal distances, just the generic buildings etc are missing beyond this short-range perimeter. All the autogen is there, because it will eventually appear when I get close enough…

Hello there,I'm suffering from a really annoying problem. I have put hours into trying to solve this, but no luck. I'm pretty ######..I've had my FS9 up and running quite nicely the last months, with nice add-on sceneries, aircraft and AI traffic. However when I'm flying or approaching an airport I get a FPS drop to 4.6 or 4.3.This is driving me crazy, since they shouldn't be happening on my system. My framerates are always very good, but lately I started to notice them. I think they happen at (freeware) add-on airports. I have not tried all my airports, but it happened at at least three of them. The stutter almost always occurs at the same spot, like on approach or befor…

What's the correct order to install scenery, mesh, and landclass? Is it mesh, scenery, and then LC? Or, is it a different combination. I used to know, but I can't remember it. My computer crashed and after a month, I finally got it working. Now, I'm reinstalling everything for FS2004. i've just uninstalled mywaterprojectv1_1.zip and it deleted all of my default water effect's.where can i find help to fix this ? Is there a way to re install just the default water effects ? Thank you in advance for any help ! Dino

I know there is something that can be added to the FS9.cfg that stops my planes fuel tanks from filling up while taxing past a fuel pump. Does anyone know what that setting is?ThanksAngelo

For some inexplicable reason,I seem to be getting these 2-3 large white squares in the skies at an altitude above what I fly at which is generally around 35k.I have no idea how or where these square patterns have come from.I run 2 GPUs and both have the very latest NVidia drivers,so I know it is not a driver issue.I do run a number of add-on sceneries but these have never caused these square patterns to dislay in the past so I don't think they have anything to do with it.Any ideas/tips appreciatedRICK

I thought I'd post this out of curiosity, after seeing a thread that's been moved to the PMDG forum.All the add-ons I have are original and bought direct from the manufacturer (programmer...?) with the exception of JustFlight's UK VFR Photoscenery (Amazon marketplace) and loads of amazing stuff I've downloaded from Avsim (thank you lots). I don't have anything by PMDG and, except for the JF stuff nothing that may be illicit.But... I have bouncing aircraft. It's most likely to occur when I switch from 2D panel view to a 3D view like spot or VC.
