I have lost the ability to print Navlogs from both FS9 and FSX. My printer will print from all other programs. Have reinstalled printer drivers. No help. Has anuone had this problem before?

Searching around the Avsim and Flightsim.com file libraries, I bumped into repaints for a Historic Jetliners Group Jetstream 31 model, but, looking around the HJG website, here is no mention of this model. I'm at a loss about this... I have the files of the model, so that's not the problem, I'd just like to know where this model comes from and what its ties are with HJG.The file I got the model with can be found at flightsim.com when searching for filename hp137rnh.zip

How do you get FS9 to "re-find" the graphics device? None are listed for selction in FS9 graphics options. This has happened before and I've always simply deleted it and reinstalled FS9. Hi.I have a gut feeling that this is a stupid question, but can't work out why, so here goes: can anyone tell me why all the AFCADs for Innsbruck LOWI I have seen (inc. that for innsbruck-lowi_v2.zip), have the localiser offset to the runway heading (rwy 26) by several degrees? That means that when the a/c intercepts the localiser, it arrives at the threshhold at an angle. I can't see any advantage to this, as the terrain would seem to allow a normal approach, correctly lined up with runway 26 at 260 degs. The disadvantage when you land several degrees at an angle is trying to keep on the runway centre line at touchdown (crosswinds notwithstanding!). I usually cut off the…

Hi,I am trying to replicate flying in the UK duing the cold spell we are having and an also using AV6 for the real weather but whenever I begin a fligth I am still seenig autumn textures so the countryside is brown and green fields.Should I be seeing wintery textures for todays date or is there a way to get the winter textures to show in the uk for this time of year?I have GE pro ground textures.Thanks

Hi folksI wonder if any of you scenery gurus can shed some light on a recent problem I have encoutered with my autogen.I have recently re-installed FS9.1 and everything seemed to be fine after adding Genesis Mesh, Ground Environment (not Pro), Flight Environment, UT USA, various add-on aircraft, add-on sceneries and a whole host of WOAI and MAIW AI aircraft. Suddenly became aware that my Autogen was only drawing out detailed buildings at very short range (please see accompanying series of five pictures taken at KJFK). Hello AllCan anybody tell me if there is a default distance for the spot view?In panel views you get 75-50-30 etc but in spot view it just seems to show how your aircraft is at the time.I use f1 view and (not sure if its f1 views fault)but sometimes i can get strangely elongated aircraft when loading or reloading them(perhaps something to do with F1s ability to zoom in and out using the the mouse scroll wheel).Its not a big deal,but i would like to be able reset to a default spot view distance.cheers Andy

Spent a few minutes trolling around the McPhat Studios site today and I couldn't find any mention of them being a licensed company for copyrighted liveries. I've always looked upon community sponsored liveries as "ok" by the airlines they represent since money was not changing hands and royalties were not involved. Does anyone know if McPhat, a company known only for their re-selling of copyrighted liveries (i.e. NOT an actual A/C, they are selling the paintjobs) is licensed by the airlines they depict to SELL their works to the public?

Hello allForgive me if this was answered in another post.If an AI traffic vehicle is programed to fly, in a particular traffic bgl, and the AI vehicle isn't in the aircraft folder, does FS substitute another, available AI vehicle?I moved some of my AI planes to another folder, and when I started a flight I had an AI boat,(on land) where a helicopter should be.I put the helicopter back in and the AI boat was gone.Just wondered if this was normal AI behavior in FS. Hi there,I just got done reinstalling mt system after a fatal HD crash. I have two pc's networked but for some reason the connection appears extremely slow. I'm not a networking wizard, so please excuse my ignorance, but I know before the crash it worked way better with the same hardware. E.g. by slow I mean, when I use the server to access a file downloaded on the client, it takes about 30 seconds until I can unzip that file.Another example would be an extreme delay in radar contact's instructions, resulting in a not so nice lecture by JD ;-)I used the wizard for establishing the network on both WinXP (sp3) machines. where can one go to find what the winds are doing at high altitudes. I'd like to be able to set the winds correctly. I know winds can get pretty fast up at high altitudes and I'd like to how fast on any given day. Finding this information for lower altitudes is no problem but I can't seem to find anything for high altitude. Thanks, Chris Porter

Suddenly all planes in my FS9 installation have developed a left banking problem on take off and landing just before or after connecting/disconnectingthe autopilot. It even happens during take off roll whereby aircraft wants to bank left as if to roll over. Only way to correct is by compesating withopposite aileron movement. Have let FS9 regenerate a new fs9 config but prolem still there. Any useful advice/solution much appreciated.Thanks and regards

Seeing the recent topic on folder size, I thought I'd ask if anyone has hit a limit on the number of aircraft installed in FS9.I seem to lose some previously installed textures at some point, although I'm not sure it's a size thing.

Hi,I have a problem with FS9. When I open the flight planner to load a flight plan the screen goes black and FS9 crashes. I have tried deleting all flight plans etc in the Flight Simulator Files folder and it works again, however it's not much good because as soon as I make a flight plan and import it into the Flight SImulator Files folder it crashes again.I tried deleting the config file and starting again but the same thing happened.Any ideas?Thanks,Dave
