Am I the only one that finds this confusing? I have a program named, " Electronic Flight bag" by FS Widgets and there is a "notice" in todays forum that there is and up date to the Electronic Flight Bag by Aivlasoft. Is this two different companies with two products named, Electronic Flight Bag? thanks jerrycwo4

This is my first posting in the forum.I am about to go blind from reading the Microsoft FS2004BGLCompSDK for regarding ROUTES.I would like to add a new route to my FS9 for AR16 (ILM-SEELO-EMCEE-SNABS-LENDS-PERMT). I am following the instructions provided in the SDK but to no avail. Just thought I'd ask...I've got VOZ but the airport doesn't seem to have all of it's taxi ways above ground. I'm using FSGlobal and I've also installed Andy & Ian's mesh. So what's the best combination of Afcad's, scenery, and mesh to get King Ford Smith's airport correct? Payware or freeware...it would be nice. Please advise and thanks!Mark

You only have to fire up FS9.75 (REX2004 SP1 and G.E. Pro (latest build) AS6.5) and fly along the Keys towards a landing at KMIA to see why FS9.75 TOTALLY, TOTALLY ROCKS!As cloud cover (changed towards more dense, the ocean color instantaneously responded to a much darker and foreboding hue. My jaw just about dropped into my lap. Yet...out, southbound behind me with less cloud cover than my heading of north...the ocean hues were what one would expect with the cloud cover present. Hello!I am looking for a gauge that will make the current plane use the fuel in the center tanks befor proceeding to the wing tanks. Is there anything like that around? I've been flying the HJG 727 (Erick Cantu rules) but the fuel is taken from all tanks so it runs out of the wings ones before the center one. Hi all, a most Happy New Year (up-and-coming, that is...) to every AVSIM poster and staff of AVSIM itself!Since applying the SP1 patch to REX2004, I have observed that there is a much more detailed rendering of cloud layers and combinations of cloud types, using the REX weather engine, rather than what I had been using while waiting for the patch, which was AS v6.5 I wonder if REX's weather engine is program-aware of the different cloud graphics of REX2004, whilst AS 6.5 does not actually call them into play. I was doing a long haul polar crossing VHHH-KORD, after crossing about 84 degrees N lat, FS started to reload the scenery about once every 15 minutes to 30 minutes. It did this for the next few hours until I was around 300 miles out of KORD and then it stopped. Has anyone seen this before and is there a fix? I did the opposite leg a few weeks ago KORD-VHHH using the same route and did not experience this constant reloading of scenery. Thnx for any help!!

What can I do to improve my performance because it was fine on my previous installation of FS2004.

I'm not registered on the REX fourm site yet so I'll post this here. After a week of trying to pick the perfect components of REX I've almost completed the task. I'll later post my favorite picks. When starting a flight , say from KLAX, I do NOT, repeat, NOT get the CORRECT weather (winds, cloud amounts/types, barometer etc) until I also start Active Sky 6.5. Then all of the REAL weather loads correctly. Why do I have to also start and use AS 6.5 to get the correct Real Weather when using REX? Other than that I'm really loving REX ! One last question. I have been flying PMDG's excellent version of the Queeen of the skys, and in the last few days the autopilot has been acting erratically for some reason. When I have engaged the autoland and I'm on the glide slope, the autopilot keeps disengaging for some reason. This has never happened before, and all of a sudden it it happening on a regular basis. Any ideas what could be causing this and how to fix it?Thanks

Hey all,I own the CLS 747-200/300 series aircraft for FS9 and love it...except that I can't get it to follow the FP. I have no problem getting more complex aircraft to follow it. Here is how I set up the AP:1. Create FP with default FS Planner. 2. Set up FMC...FMC accepts it FP.3. Set up ALT and SPD.4. Turn knob to GPS (inbetween the Nav 1 and Nav 2 settings on the MCP) 5. Select NAV on AP.6. When I get in the air and click NAV, the plane does a wide 270 degree loop....does not fly FP at all. SPD and ALT continue to function perfectly. Running on Windows 7 (64x)...was running on XP but still had the same problem. Anyone wanna tell this noob what he screwed up? :(

Hi,In the last time i experienced some FS Crashes. I found out that the reason was the "weather.DLL" file.I reinstalled the FS9 (which tooks me 1 day!) but still crash to desktop.Here is the information from the errorlogfile from my last crash: I'm using Win7 64bit, with FS9. WideFS to Squawkbox and flightrecorders.ActiveSky 6.5 on my FS computer.Can anyone help? :(

Hey guys,I have started looking around for third party sounds to make my perfect planes even better. One of the planes I want to give better engine sounds, is the LDS767, of which I think the engine sounds simply could be a lot better. What engine sounds can you recommend? And, how do I merge them with the LDS767? Because whatever happens, I don't want to lose the extensive set of F/O, ground personnel and cabin crew sounds. I have been noticing for a while that whenever I do an input change on my yoke (CH Products) or/and pedals (Saitek) I get a slight stutter during the movement (even on pause).The yoke really isn't that bad and doesn't not bother me. It's mainly the pedals.Ex: I pause the sim wile in flight or on ground. While panning the view around the plane (or in the VC), I move very slowly one of the 3 (or all at once) axis on the pedals (rudder, brake right or brake left)While I am moving them, the panning stutters. Hi All,Forgive me if this is already covered in a post.I'm attempting to create a (fictional) flight plan for AI_Mega_yacht, that would leave CTAF, ( Yes Bay Lodge), and return.I Want the Yacht to leave the Lodge area every hour, or so, and return after a short while..(Half an hour or so).I have TTools, and AIFPC but really have no idea how to create such a fight plan. Dear simmers. The biggest nightmare we all have is having a computer failure and loosing all of the software we installed for flight simulator. Well, it happened to me this time and it is like your best friend has just died. I am now resigned to buying a better system and plan to invest in a system better suited to support FS and all its add-ons. I do a lot of flight simulator videos which I upload to YouTube, so I need a good system. I just installed Fs9 in a new PC.The problem is that in airports all around the world,the planes going down the runway for TO star to jump.This is most noticiable with small planes that big ones.No jumping from taxi ways or tarmac.On this pc is default Fs9.On the other PC with many addons the problem is the same.Somebody knows the solution?thanks

Hi!When I start FS2004 in the Windows XP mode session in Windows 7, it doesn't work.Why?When I launch the fs9.exe file, a error sign comes up and you will see this message:"Flight Simulator cannot run during a Remote Desktop session and will now quit"Is there anything you can do to get around this?I was thinking of maybe debug the app or something like that.Or is it possible to run the sim via Wide FS? HiI have strange problems with few a/c, paywares.My Taxy and Takeoff lights after some times looks strange and I cannot find the reason.They are going straight up.I have redux3D but I didn't install it on those a/c.Which files in fs9 controls look of the lights? I know that I change something.Because, as I see know it is not connected with single a/c, it reflects few a/c for know, maybe more. I didn't notice, still.You can see the problem on that link.
