I recently merged the PMDG Panel with the POSKY 737 and I can't tune to either FS2004 or PFE's ATIS.

Hi Folks,Happy Holidays. I've noticed little parking traffic as well as takeoff and landing traffic at my home airport (KSWF). I use Ultimate Traffic 2004 with updates as far as they went for the version I have. I'd like to populate my airport with more traffic. I'm aware of WOAI and that I can input my airport ICAO code to see what traffic flies in and out.Has anyone as of late taken their UT and added to it with WOAI or any other legit AI package at certain airports only? Anything I need to keep in mind when doing so not to make a mess and slow down the entire AI system? Any hints and tips much appreciated. Whenever I start a flight up with the POSKY 737 the engines rev up to 80% N1, and it causes the plane to move sideways. I think its unrealistic and is there any way to solve it?

Unless I am mistaken, I do not believe that AI Aardvark ever released a 767 model with winglets.Checking their website, a wingletted 767-300 shows up in various liveries.So have they already revealed their Christmas present?

Hello,I am having problems using the WoAI installer. I suspect, but am not sure, that it may have something to do with Vista's quirkiness.After attempting to install various AI packages (AirTran, for example), I get the following error:Unhandled exception has occurred in your application. If you click Continue, the application will ignore this error and attempt to continue. If you click Quit, the application will close immediately.Index was outside the bounds of the array.I have tried uninstalling and reinstalling the WoAI installer several times, as well as various AI packages, but no dice.Any ideas?Zach

Hello All,I have been thinking about picking up the DA Fokker. I have always had an interest in that jet but do not know much about it (the real one). I see it mentioned here and there in various forums but other than that, I am lost whe it comes to this aircraft (I think we had them here in the U.S. a while back?). I had read that a VC was "in the works", but upon reviewing their forum, it looks like contact with the customers has stopped regarding this. Hi,Well, I'm really not interested in the (med / lite) version of the 757 aircraft. Just my personal taste, I'm not taking a shot at the company. From what I have seen on You Tube (QW757 videos) it looks nice. What I would like to talk about are the sounds that come with this package. They are by far a superior sounding 757 package that I've heard out of all the different 757 packages being offered today.Would Quality wings be interested is selling the sound package as a separate addon at a reduced price?. I would be more than willing to purchase this sound set.Just a thought

I had install a new texture airport Naples,Italy yesterday,and I was taking off from Rome,on the runway my plane started to jump up and down,the same happened at landing.I tried a few other airports in Europe,the same problem.I have Fs9 installed on another pc, replaced the Scenary-erw-scenary folder but the problem is there,then I did a takeoff from the 2pc and the jumping is there as well,normally I use Sud American airports.Is this a bug,a new problem,something normal? l have been designing an airport with afcad and everything works fine except Although l have inserted a Tower Viewpoint in afcad , when l press S to switch to tower view , l get a distant view from another airport .What have l ommited ?Thanks replies

A CAF C-130 has just arrived in Rovaniemi with some VIP cargo from Canada for Santa's trip. The flight lasted 7 hours and departed Iqaluit early in the afternoon. The four legged beast were all fired up upon greeting Santa at the airport. One with a red nose was heard to say, that was a long slow flight. All were reported in good health and ready to get underway. Santa said all was on schedule and thanked the Canadian crew as he and his flight crew departed for Santa's village just outside of town in preparation for Christmas Eve.

My Automatic Direction Finder can pick up Non Directional Beacons at about 80 or 90 miles range, at which point I get both an aduible (Morse code) signal and a pointer response on my Radio Compass. Is this pretty realistic, or should I be able to receive at somewhat longer ranges? Also, I've read that the Old Guys routinely picked up commercial broadcasts at much longer ranges (a few hundred miles?) and used them til they could receive an NDB. Is there any way I could do such a thing with the default DC-3?Thanks all!

I don't want to build a REX theme...I would like to use AS6.5 for RW weather engine...does REX choose the appropriate clouds etc? I have Real Environment freeware for FS9 (same guys who do REX)...what's different/better in the payware version? Also, looking at the REX 2.0 gallery, most if not all pics are FSX (I have REX for FSX) are there any for FS9?THanksRich Perry

After seeing what REX for FS2004 has done for the sky I'm almost certain more can be done with the ground. I bought GE Pro after all the hype I've been hearing and find it a step up from GE in many areas. If your flying in rural less populated areas it is really nice. It's only when you get over cities and see where GE Pro has actually decreased the thickness of autogen that it becomes apparent a little more can be done. I also found I had to restore my city night lighting as I found the night lights of both GE and GE Pro odd to look at. I guess if I had Ultimate Terrain installed it all would work better. When I call the menu or press the right mouse button in a fullscreen mode a black screen appears with traces of windows that I've opened before. Menu appears with 2-3 second delay on this background. After that, the mouse loses color and becomes black.Such problem I have than switching between windows too.The problem was in ATI-4850 and Nvidia-8800GTX (drivers 195.55, 195.62). This problem remains for any driver settings (via nHancer or not).Compatibility mode, disabling Aero does not help. tried to remove fs9.cfg and run FS in default settings...OS - Vista-64 and Win-7 (x64) now.I have no this problem in FSX or other games.SCREENSHOTThanks for help!

I have just re-installed FS2004 clean installation,updated it,then re-installed various Add-Ons such as PMDG,Level-D,Just Flight,Capt Sim,and a variety of sceneries.Prior to re-installing FS2004 from scratch,the last scenery I installed was the Helsinki airport scenery.After the FS2004 re-install I have re-loaded the Aerosoft sceneries for the Canaries,London,Frankfurt,Fly!Tampa sceneries,Imagine sceneries,UK2000 sceneries,and the Helsinki scenery,and FS2Crew.Yet,flying a non-complex aircraft like the CS707 out of Helsinki airport,I soon reached a critical point just before take-off where FS2004 gave up saying I had ruin out of memory.I have a 2.4GHz AMD CPU,3Gb RAM,2x256…

I know it's embedded within model, but is there any possible way of making the wheels move on the hovercontrol blackhawk, S-70, UH-60 etc etc etc? They just don't and it's kinda unreal...

I just took off from PHNL outbound, island hopping in an Electra four-engined prop. I truly had forgotten how many great planes I had for FS9.75! Having quite some fun getting reacquainted with each one. I especially am though, enjoying the turbo-props!DC-8's have great special effects, and the pollution that come out of these babies...and while in their hey-day...nobody seemed to care! I have WideFS on a client running Win XP Home and FS stuff on a separate server running Win 7 Prem Home 64 bit. On the client I have run FS Flying school and experience severe stutters in FS9 because of that. In the WideFS.ini I did add Protocol=UDP as suggested and that did indeed improve performence. But still there are more noticable stutters when FFS is used over the network. Why? The application FFS isn't run on the server computer. I also use ASA with WideFS and gets no performence issues. Also noticed that the fps doesn't drop I just get stutters.That leads to the question would it be better with regard of performence to run FFS on the server itself?My FS server sy…
