Hi Guys,I've had LOWS_2006_V1.0 (Salzburg Airport in Austria by Gianni) in my FS9 ever since it came out about 3 years ago and everything was fine. However, I recently noticed that almost all static ground vehicles had unexpectedly become untextured. Why and how I have no idea and I hope that one of you technical scenery experts out there can point my nose in the right direction.There are two BGL files: "LOWS_2006_static_vehicles.bgl" and "lows_2006_lib_static_vehicles.bgl" present in the airport's scenery folder and when de-compiling these to XML, all MDL files and object placement processes seem to be correct. Can someone please clarify something for me.DXT3 OPTIMIZED CLOUDS under REX2004' CLOUD THEME SET.Should you have this item checked on, if you have a beefy system? Or will this degrade cloud visualization. Will it actually ADD to the scene by having all 3 types of clouds depicted?If you use DXT3 cloud sets, are they still H.D.?A clarification would be appreciated. I will certainly check the above to 'on' if it enhances and does not take away from cloudscape and quality-of-same depicted.Thanks,Mitch

Hello everyone.I'm looking to rebuild Syracuse NY (KSYR), but I'm finding it difficult to find close shots of the airport buildings. I've looked online at airliners, but of course, the focus there is the aircraft, and not the buildings. I can use Bing maps for 360 degree views, but if anyone has some closer shots of the buildings there, could you please let me know. The lack of good, close shots of the airport buildings is making it hard. I like to have sceneries that closely resemble the real thing.Sincerely,Eric

Hi all, I posted in the scenery forum that I was having a runtime error 9 but it doesn't seem that many go to that forum, so I thought I would post it here. One person replied and posted some links but none of them gave any constructive answer nor fixed my problem. The issue I had with the SBuilder program was that when I go to File - Append - and click on LWM BGL. It opened a window for me to enter a file, and that file was FL926170.BGL. Anyone know what is going on with the FSShipyards site?I keep getting a site unknown error message -I have never had that problem before. I had no problem last week but got the error message yesterday and again today.The address I am trying to use is http://www.fs-shipyards.org/I have tried it with a com extension too with the same error message.

Seeing the Latin VFR Kingston Jamaica package, I am very tempted to get it. (http://www.latinvfr.com/Jamaica.html)I would like to know if the screenshots that are shown on their site are from the FSX or FS9 versions. I use both sims but currently prefer FS9. I don't own any of these 2 new products yet, but by comparing the screenshots, I must say that HD Environment looks much more realistic and natural than REX - and that for half the price! Since I already have a perfect weather engine (AS6.6) and a great flightplanner (FSNav) I think I will go for HD Environment rather than for REX.Wolfgang

Hi!Is it possible to twek FS9.1 to make AI traffic take off faster.Now, the default is when it's cleared for take off the AI traffic accelerate a bit, then stops a while, then full throttle...That delays incoming traffic and many (not all of course) short final AI are forced to turn around.Is it possible to change that in order to make AI-traffic take holding position and then immidiately take off???Best regards

Hi !!!I asked that on REX forum but no response.Have anyone purchased the REX for FS9.1 and flown at high altitudes AT NIGHT and noticed anything with the water transition?In FS9.1 the water transition textures are light blue ... is it fixed with REX or is it the same as default?Maybe someone can post a screenshot flying at high altitude at night with clear weather so you can see the transition texture.Best Regards!

Yes, this is a very old addon but I thought to start flying it again due to nostalgia :(. The thing is is that their website is down, and I have version 1.3, so if anyone has update 1.4 and 1.5 that'd be great if you can pass it on to me, or if I can download it from somewhere send me the link pls. Hello fellow simmers.I've spent some time looking around for landclass products for Africa in fs9 and so far i have not been successful. I do know of the free one on avsim and i think it's lovely but it doesn't quite cover a lot of cities. I was wondering if anyone knew where i could get a proper landclass product for Africa as a whole, or to be even more specific, West Africa? It could be payware and/or freeware? :( Thank youWalter

Hi allI would appreciate some help on removing the warning when I load FS9, it says Flight Sim as detected a potential incompatible aircraft or file it gives me this (fss sound.dll)It was brought about by loading the project fokker 100/70 file by hand the auto install will not work on my PC as I have FS loaded on its own HD and not 'C'The aircraft seem fine just Like I remember them from my pree FSX days. but now I have returned to a less trouble free sim I can have them Back again :( RegardsRex

Hello all, attached is a picture of CYSJ. As you can see, there are two runways, 5-23 and 32-14. The default runway used is 5. If the wind changes to 220, runway 23 is used without problem. However, is the wind is 310 and runway 32 is assigned, the aircrafts will just disappear from the gate. Any explanation on why this is? Also, I was wondering is someone had an easy step by step instruction guide on how to make ALL RUNWAYS open to landing and take off. As you can see in the picture, runway 5 is the less convenient runway.

Hi, I haven't read about this before but maybe others have/had the some observation.I don't know what started it but I am seeing ATC directing AI aircraft to FL2170. ATC starts giving clearance to FL440, shortly after FL550, then FL720 etc. Then at a given moment it should be FL2170 which of course is never reached and so ATC keeps urging the AI aircraft to increase climb.Ok one would think there must be a mistake in the flightplan. But there isn't. The flightplan lists the correct altitude.At first this would happen to KLM flights. But no, again, the flightplans are ok. Even a search on '2170' doesn't have a hit in the flightplan. But then the other day it suddenly was T…

Hi all,In a case like the default Gander (CYQX) AFCAD, traffic coming from the main ramp on their way to runway 22, will stop and stay at the hold short node before runway 13-31. I have seen this before at other airfields where AI is unable to taxi via one runway to the runway in use. I do hope I've made myself clear :( .How can I solve this? By adding the "diamond" crossing? Oh yes, it is FS-9 and I am experienced with AFCAD. Thanks!Loek

Hi,When I installed REX I checked the pitch-black option in the settings, but I found FS9, which was already too dark, even darker. So I un-checked it. But I haven't seen a difference.. So I would like to know, is there anything you do to get over this darkness? Any set of textures to make FS a bit brighter? I really can't see anything at night -- I have a few pics to post tomorrow.Thanks,

Hi everyone I just wanted to know how to take-off in fs2004 with aircraft like the sga 737 and sga md-80's. For some reason ever since I used the thrust reverser the base throttle on my joystick ( lowest the throttle switch will go on my joystick) the throttle power would be 20% to 30% and when putting it under the thrust reversers would activate. So I am just wondering how to take-off with the throttle like this because when I want to take off and put my throttle up the throttle would go over 100% they aircraft would reach speeds of 200mph+ when taking off with flaps and all. Please Help.

Can anyone help me out with the Nine Dragon V.2 scenery file for FS2004. I downloaded all 4 files and the autoinstaller keeps telling me it doesnt have all the components to properly install the scenery. Someone provided me a link for a 256mb straight download of all the files and It still told me it didnt have all the components. When I looked into the pilots book file PDF. It showed that there is suppose to be another file called "Installer.DOT3" that file doesnt seem to be in any of the downloads I have acquired.Is there something I am doing wrong? Can someone :( please help me out with this download?

What do I need to put into the aircraft.cfg for a flight to be recognized as Icelandair? What does FS9 recognize?Eric
