Hey guys, have just purchased the Dublin EIDW scenery from Eiresim but am having problems activating the scenery!! I recieved 2 codes, one a series of letters and numbers, the other a serial code of 16 numbers ****~****~****~****I've tried both codes separately, as it's not clear which one is the actual activation code!! Both codes bring up an error which say :- "Those details are invalid. Or they have been removed from the server". I'm currently waiting for a response from Eiresim but was wondering if anyone else has had this problem? Or can anyone tell me which one is the actual activation code?Cheers.

HiI just wondered if anyone else has had problems with the landing gear and flaps on Manfred Jahn's various excellent versions of the Lockheed Constellation. Although the gear and flaps retract at the beginning of the flight, they frequently do not extend when the time comes for landing, although the problem is not necessarily consistent. I do not have this problem with any of the other addon aircraft on fs9. Hey everyone, it's been a long time since I've made an appearance here. Hope everyone is doing well. I got the airsimmer A320 last week. On my system, it does not run very smooth at all. Landings are extremely tough with the FPS dropping the way it does. I converted all the textures to DXT3. The one issue that I see is. Get rid of the cabin. I WISH they would have made this an option. I always fly from VC, but having the cabin that has no need to be there when I actually fly the aircraft is sucking the life from my system. I would use the cabin if I was making a video, but other wise it would be nice to turn it off so the performance would jump through the roof without th…

I have come to the point again where my problems start. My fingers start itching and I start getting restless: it is the point where I seem to have all that I want. This is strictly speaking not true: there is stuff that I still want to buy for FS2004. Actually, there is a lot I still want to buy. But here is the problem. I have scenery all over Europe and the caribbean, and I have the planes for every type of flight I'd want to fly, and this is where the problem is: I don't really know how to fly any of them because I have so many. I will be taking delivery of a new, much faster computer (Intel i5 withWindows7-) in a couple of days. I intend to network this to my existing computer(P4 Windows XP) that holds all my normal stuff plus FS9 and many add on programmes.Obviously I will be wanting to run FS9 via the faster comp so my question is am I faced with manually installing FS9 and the many add ons(aircraft, scenery etc.)on the new computer or is there a simpler way, via the network, of transferring these from the existing computer.I have also seen a suggestion that FS9 should not be installed on default drive C in Windows 7 - any comments?Thanks in advance for any help and advice.William

HiI reinstalled Wilco E175/190 that I haven't touched since I switched to Vista-64. Everything seems to work OK, with one exception. Once I exit from FS2004, I receive CTD message that FS2004 was closed due to E170(190)_gauge.Unloaded module crash. The same thing happens with other Wilco stuff such as A32X series. Obvioulsy it's not a showstopper for flying, but it's kinda annoying thing to see.If anyone had the same experience and was able to solve this issue, I would appeciate your help.ThanksDmitriy

Hi,I was kind of reinstalling FS9 and when the part in which I had to insert CD 4 came, I kind of pulled the CD out of the case too hard and now it has a 4 cm radius crack from the center...:-( So, I just put it in anyway and unfortunately nothing happen. It spins like 2 or 3 times then stops. Just keep getting the message insert disc 4. NOTE: This is during installation. Can somebody please tell me what should I do!? I'm desperate cuz' I don't want to spend my life with FSX with all settings at Low!!! Cheers,Carvelle5000

Hi all,I'm running FS9 and tried using the real weather that updates every 15 minutes. When it downloads the weather from the internet, it does not load the correct or actual weather. Why is it not loading the actual weather?Ken Manning

Hi everyone I just wanted to know how to take-off in fs2004 with aircraft like the sga 737 and sga md-80's. For some reason ever since I used the thrust reverser the base throttle on my joystick ( lowest the throttle switch will go on my joystick) the throttle power would be 20% to 30% and when putting it under the thrust reversers would activate. So I am just wondering how to take-off with the throttle like this because when I want to take off and put my throttle up the throttle would go over 100% they aircraft would reach speeds of 200mph+ when taking off with flaps and all. Please Help.

I need a little help here.I can't get the comm2 radio to work on the Legacy 600. Hi,So I went ahead and purchased the excellent FS2004 DC9 by SkySim today.However, even if I have read the manual twice, I can not understand how to release the brakes,...they are applied all the time. I have checked and double checked the hydraulics.The parking brakes are ok, but it is the manual brakes that are applied all the time. I've downloaded Eric Cantu's EMB120 and it's really nice...what a great model! But I was wondering if anyone has seen a payware version with the same or better exterior model as Eric's and a killer cockpit with VC?Perhaps there is a really pro cockpit available for Eric's model that I haven't discovered yet? Has anyone ever experienced FS2004 related programs not opening? Whenever I try to open WMPRO or nHancer I get the hour glass then it goes away and nothing happens or opens. When I open my task manager I see the program running in my "processes" and my CPU performance maxed out. I've uninstalled/reinstalled several times and still the same results. The only thing I did prior to this happening was reinstall a scenery. I've since uninstalled it and still get the same results...nothing.I'm running XP sp2 and I've never had this problem before. Hi guys At some payware airports I find that my aircraft (PMDG 737,LevelD 767 ) start to what I can only describe as fluctuate up and down during taxi and take off, I have never noticed this before. It occurs at Imaginesims KATL and FlyTampas new KBOS more noticeably than any other airport. I have checked for double AFCADS my Scenery Vertex level is set at 21. The only thing other than the new KBOS I have added recently has been new makerunways for Radar Contact 4. It makes me rather seasick does anyone have a solution to my problem? Regards Nic Jackson

I have a legitimate 5 year old copy of FS9 and I want to preserve it as buying another copy seems to be getting harder and harder. Can I install it on a back up external hard drive? Can I run it from there? Am I legally entitled to do so? If I am allowed to, do I have to copy Windows as well? In the event of a computer crash (and that has happened 3 times in the last 6 years) or dead FS2004 CDs, I would really like to be able to pull the programme off the external drive and onto a new machine without having to buy another copy of FS2004 if indeed I even can. The thing I hate most about FS9 is the laggy gauges in the virtual cockpit. For smaller and less complex models, the frame rate on the gauges is fine, but on more complex aircraft such as the PMDG 737 and the LDS 767, the frame rates are pretty bad. Would there be any possible way to fix this or speed them up? What makes them so laggy?Thanks

i am thinking about getting U.T, FS Global 2010 and Ground Environment for FS9. I also have FScene and FSGenesis. so my question is, 1. which one(s) are/is better and 2. which go together? and 3. in what order do i need to install them in? thanks.

I am flying the ifdg airbus a321 with eric marcianos panel. Tried to put atis frequency, of 136.12, into com1 but could only tune to 136.125 or 136.100 or 136.150. is there a way to change the sensitivity of tuning? Appreciate any help.RegardsMike

Hi everyone.I just downloaded WOAI installer and the Iberia package. That generated the bgl file "Traffic_000_WoA_Iberia_Su08.bgl" in my [FS2004_ROOT]\scenery\World\scenery directory, but still can't see no traffic whatsoever in LEMD or any other airport :(I have FSUIPC V3.93 installed and 100% density set in options.Been searching for hours but found nothing usefull.Any ideas on what could possibly be wrong please?Thanks in advanceDario Iriberri

Just wondering what's the visible difference between Flight1's GE and GEPro ground textures. I've had GE since it was release and wasn't too impressed with the concept GE PRO brought to the table where you could change the ground textures for things like overcast, seasons, and the like. I like to set my textures and leave them alone. I have no use in constantly moving textures around because of an overcast sky in one area that I'm going to fly out of anyway in a heavy I may be flying that day. Plus you need to defrag when you move textures around like this to get optimal performance from your hard drive. Setting things like this once and leaving them alone works the…
