Hi everybodyThought I'd spruce up the old girl with these two new addons. Got a handle on REX, really nice, looking like FS9.75 indeed!Just 2 questions, what options should you deselect in REX so it DOESN'T install it's water textures? And also, is there any kind of control for Ultimate Water? I can't see any, but how does it select differing water textures? I selected 'realistic' water when it first installed, but are there any other options once it's installed?Cheers, SLuggy

Hey everyone,Is it possible for activesky to auto submit textures from flight environment??? If yes, how do you do it??? Or is it possible to import flight environment textures in the AS graphics and set it up to choose from the list automatically based on weather forecast???I read AS manual and it says that it can auto submit IGS textures-based. Sorry if this is a strange question. I'm really new to all of this.Yesterday I downloaded some great planes from WOAI. Different airlines for the US. Last night when I was at the "create a flight" menu I now see that I can fly a UPS plane. Forgive me if I'm asking a dumb ? but have I always been able to select UPS as a color scheme? Or does it have something to do with a package I downloaded?I did download the UPS package, but I also downloaded others. The UPS plane(s) are the only ones that show up as planes I can fly. The other packages seem to show up as extra traffic when I'm flying into and out of different airports. Is it possible to fly these other planes Continent…

morning all,I just wanted to check my understanding of the procedure on the way REX and AS6.5 work together. I use AS6.5 for the weather generation and REX for the textures. what I do right now is start REX and load my textures, I always use "Random Theme", once REX is done loading I shut it down and start up FS9 and then start AS6.5. What I am not sure about is whether I will always get weather appropriate textures using this method. In other words does the random theme send enough kids of clouds and water colours to depict calm weather and a storm. thanks for any help!!!

I've been away from this forum for about the last 6 weeks and the newest BIG thing since then is REX. I've spent the biggest part of today reading as much as I can about REX , the "good, the bad and the ugly". I'm fairly happy with my FS2004 set up as it it now, but I am going to try REX. Would someone please list ALL of the files for me to manually backup BEFORE installing REX so that I can 100% get it back to it's original state if I want to? Thanks jerrycwo4

Nick Needham stated in a prior post that you don't have to have Nhancer running active for it to be in effect.My question to all, is that if you do NOT have Nhancer (any version) running in the tray (in background) how is it 'aware' when either the FS9.exe or FSX.exe is activated?Does Nhancer install itself as a 'sniffer' process, which then calls up the Nhancer subroutines, when it 'sniffs' out a running flight simulator .exe file?Can anybody (Nick, if you are reading this) explain how Nhancer can come into play WITHOUT seemingly running the the background, ready to engage?Post edit: I think I got it...there is an nHancer.service running in the processes window, in the …

I've reinstalled PMDG 737 on XP for FS9.Now, when I try to load Flight 1 ATR or Level-D 767 they CTD.How could the reinstall of PMDG cause these types of problems?Thanks in advance.Slugger

I recently formatted my PC and had to install FS9 again......I was busy the whole of yesterday doing just tht!But for some reason, when I tried to fly my iFDG Airbus A321, I could not get it to descent above 700fps!! This persisted even if I input 4000fps on the autopilot panel.......I'm using the default B737 panel, as I haven't yet installed most of my addons yet......Mind you, this only happens in the autopilot.....Does anyone have any ideas??? Please help me out folks......... :(

I have recently upgraded to Windows 7. I have loaded the FS9 in the XP mode ,but have not played with it too much . I cannot get it to even open ,let alone fly.Any suggestions would be very welcome. I have loaded FS Realtime and fsuipc both licensed versions. The Fs Realtime will run ok ,but will not boot up Fs9.Also I would prefer to run this flight simulator on a seperate external H/drive ,which has already been formatted.Hope some one can help me with this issue. BTW I have a near new computer and is very fast.Charlie.

HiHow are the flight dynamics and the A/P?I own the 737 and it was the best cockpit with the worst dynamics and flight control.I don't have the E-Jets but I read that the dynamics were not that good with a problem at landing with Vref...What about the ERJ v2?ThanksGhiom

Hi,Today, I attempted a PSS/POSKY 777 merge, and everything is working great right now. But, I'd really like to have a working VC also, since that is where I do most of my flying. I tried several searches and saw several people who claimed to have successfully performed the merger with a working POSKY VC and model combined with the 2d panel and flight dynamics of the PSS 777. I wasn't able to get mine working.I'd appreciate if anybody could help me get the VC working!Below is the process that I used. I can clarify anything if you need me to. Yesterday, with the comments of Sesquashtoo in mind, I flew the DreamFleet Bonanza from Lillooet (CAR3) to Vancouver BC (CYYJ). Flying a little below the cloud and mist at about 5000', the scenery was just about exactly the same as I have seen it many times driving the same route on the ground.Towns, mountains, highway, rail lines and the mighty Fraser River were all spot on for realism. I have Ultimate Terrain and the original GE- running on a pretty old machine with FS settings in the mid to high range. I am using the 737 800 PMDG, and have the following problem when programing autoland on my FMC - and 737.The whole procedure runs fine, the aeroplane makes the correct approach, follows the glideslope, flairs fine, but only problem left of the runway.Now the ILS shows correct indication to turn right to align with runway, but the autoland/autopilot does not do this, does not align the aircraft horizontally.Nav 1 and 2 are on the correct ILS freq. Have tried 3 different airports, Seattle, Kennedy and Heathrow, and all have the same problem.ILS is showing correctly, but the aircraft does not adjust with the ILS to align up for straight final approach.Please any suggestions?…

Short story. I bought their 757 on sale in Sept. and opened a support ticket regarding a VOR issue. Now 3 months later I got an email back saying my ticket has been reviewed and canceled because the issue had been mentioned by others before. To see it please refer to their knowledge base # 1004. So I logged in and searched. here is their KB#1004,"FS9 product: I experience a problem not listed in the KB."I thought it was insulting for 3 seconds then it became funny. :(
