Hello,Is it possible in FS2004 to assign keyboard commands / short cuts to view modes, such as virtual cockpit and spot view? Instead of cycling by using S and Shft + S.Hans HartveltThe Netherlands

Hey, I recently downloaded Traffic Board from Avsim for FS2004. I have read the instructions on the readme, and done everything it has said. It says you select the Traffic Board from the aircraft selection screen, but it is not there to select. Any help appreciated.Regards

Anyone tried an ILS landing at the Sunskyjet KPHL? Although the runways have ILS according to the map display, they don't display any NAV1 frequencies to tune to. (This is with the default AFCAD that comes with the package). Anybody have the same issue?;)

hi guys, its probably a simple solution but when im on the ground and i move my joystick left and right while taxing it turns my plane left and right... my joystick has a rudder control and that also turns the plane... i only want the rudder control on my joystick to turn the plane.. does anyone know how to disable the other way thats causing it to turn?

I have a question regarding the great AI-addon WOAI.If I want to import AI-flightplans from another developer, say Alpha-India Group, can someone teach me how to get the flightplans to "understand" that it´s WOAI´s aircraft it should be relating to? Once I´ve compiled them they look like this, next to the WOAI-flightplans:I would prefer not to download other AI models!/Johan

Is it possible to put the X:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9\Scenery folder in a different location on a different hard drive and get FS9 to "find" and use it? I'm wondering if splitting this out would improve my micro-stutters which most seem to think are caused by HDD access time. I'm curious if something like this would split the "load" to 2 HDD's (FS9 already resides on a dedicated HDD) and help reduce these stutters.Vic

Hello all who can help.For some strange reason I have found that several default waypoints have dissapeared from FS. At the moment, I have only narrowed it down to one area but I have a feeling it may exist elsewhere.In the 2 pictures you will will see the aea of LSZH. The first picture is my problem. The second shows the way it should be. These are 2 different systems. Does anyone know if an addon would do this? I have a million addons in my FS...Thanks for the help.

Hey guys, I was wondering if anyone can help me. I'm running REX for my fs2004. Whenever I take of it seems that I'm always in a fog (and I'm using real world weather) and then when I get up to a certain altitude I get these clouds under me that are constantly following me. They are right below me all the time. HELP? :D

hello I´m picking up my old CS B757 again. Having one problem though... When I program the FMC the EXEC button will not light up!!! I cannot choose SIDs properly either!pressing any of the left LSKs does nothing at all. the EXEC never lights up. I cannot get rid of the red "MSG" letters either..Can anyone help me?/mike

Hi guys, i just installed fs2004 on my brand new computer, i'm running Windows 7.. i dont know what this problem is.. and i have searched around and i have tried different things.What i have tried so far is... i have installed soft horizon.. installed new water textures.. none of these have helped.. i have played around with all the settings in fs9.. I'm left with no other options..Really hope someone here can help me... i have attached to pictures one daylight and one night.. this is what i see....

im at a bit of a stalemate here, currently im considering going to the POSKY model, but im quite unsure about how it handles with the PSS panel and how great it is on FPS, not to mention also how it looks in general, does the model seems great? or should i just stick with the Overland plane?

Hello,I tried to improve AI sound and particularly reverse thrust sound. I tried " aisnd101 " but altough I followed strictly the readme (paste the files in the sound directory and modify the aicraft.cfg - effects section) I cannot hear any specific change !?! I need to say that I tried different sounds packs but none works. I could modify the "overall" AI aircraft sound but not the reverse sound.Any help ?Someone tried some sound sets and modifications that works ???I apologize for my bad english (not my mother langage).Thanks a lotCedric

So I am starting to become a bit frustrated with the long load times and sometimes not so great performance with FSX. Although my computer is pretty solid, I have alot of addons and FSX is starting to become unstable. Since I have many great addons for FS9, I am thinking about spending more time with FS9 in the near term. My question is: What can I do to make FS9 great? The programs I am thinking will help most are REX, GEX, and UTX (I have the FSX versions of all of these and they are great). Would adding these transform FS9 to a new level that make it look and feel quite a bit like FSX? Any input would be appreciated.Cheers, Pete

Me again, i just wondered where you guys get your charts from,ground,aerodrome,docking,parking. I fly in Europe and use V-route for planning and they do have links but not all links are working so i would love to know the best place for these European charts.As always, thanks for your help and i'd appreciate your links.Cheers

Hi.Some of my planes are given wrong names by ATC.Seeing this excerpt from a config file, the cause is quite obvious. atc_id, atc-airline and atc_flight_number are easy enough to complete for each variation. I suppose the atc_type ought to be Bristol, and the atc_model Beaufort but is there a list (similar to airlines.cfg) of available names anywhere? I guess anything that doesn't already exist will simply be ignored, and it would be nice to have a list of what will work.Secondly, out of curiosity, does anyone know why these blank types and models default to 'Experimental'? Is it just that 'Experimental' is at the head of the unknown list?Finally, I recommend the plane, j…

I know this will have been answered somewhere else here, but my searches haven't lead to the answer I was looking for, so apologies for asking again.I have moved my FS9.1 setup from Windows XP 32-bit to XP 64-bit. After a few days of tweaking, things seem to run fine (so far!). I currently have only 2 x 1GB of RAM installed and want to increase this to 2 x 2GBs (I don't think more than 4GBs is necessary for FS9? But what about FSX, which I have, but never fly - though perhaps I will in the future?). I suppose everyone would agree that that would be a good idea??I have already patched my FS9.exe file (/4GB patch), but can someone confirm that with XP x64 and 4 GBs of RAM I…

RXPWaas new update, ver 1.4.4, errorsAll works ok in FS9.1 and FSX but:I get a runtime error when I exit FS9.1 or FSX.The Windows event viewer says rxpGnsSim.dll caused it.If I load a non waas aircraft and then exit FS9.1 no errors on the exit.This is just an update and there were no instructions to "uninstall" anything first.Just wondering if anyone else is seeing this problem?Also, anyone know which file holds the user flight plans and waypoints?I need to get a backup so I do not have to do all over in case of problems.

Okay, when I try to install FS9 on vista, I get to disc 4 and at exactly 77% copying amsterd.cab it wont continue and after waiting 30 minutes it finally says it encountered an error and that I need to check disk space and if my hard disk was full? #### I'm really getting ####off for #### sake we had to order this game THREE times, and finally it gets here and isn't working.. ####. This is kind of a lazy mans question. My c dirve is very full and my FS9 folder is huge. I was wondering if it is possible to move the entire FS9 folder to another dirve with out having to reinstal all of the add ons?Thank you for your kind replies! :( R Jones
