Good day Gents,I am in a home cockpit building quest And what im gonna try to do is setup 2 monitors.I have a few questions regarding how to go about it.1) Do you need to have to computers to run on 2 monitors effectively?2) Do I need any special programs in order to use 2 monitors effectively?3) Will using 2 monitors decrease my performance? If so would it affect it badly?Now I am also looking at using 2 computers (ummm maybe :( )Do I need a special program to use 2 computers in sync while flying?Also, do I need FS9 installed on both PC's? I am looking at running background programs on one and my fs9 on the other in hopes of getting better performance out of my sim,…

I cannot get REX Extreme Flight Simulator 2004 or REX FS9 to load in my version upgrade to version 32. I have contacted Flight Sim. Com got a Ticket, and a reply that the ticket is active. This was Sept 10, 2010. The web sight does not show a phone number so you reply by the ticketand still no reply. I also atempted to contact REX Extreme, but no reply. I paid for the product ($59.00) I have provided all the details required yet still no answer.Do you or anyone have a suggestion?

Hy guys!I have the following problem!I just bought the awesome 707 from captain sim!All woks fine, but if I go to the VC, I have rain! Doesn´t matter if it sunshiny, snowy, rainy, foggy, clearly! All the time I have rain in the VC!I thinks thats a problem with the effect which the 707 is using! But I can´t find the effect anywhere in the effects folder!So I hope you guys help me to deactive rain in the VC during sunshine!!

How is it possible to run AS6.5 and REX together? Would this work?:-Install REX textures for everything, clouds, runways, water etcTHEN-Install AS6.5 textures from "active sky graphics"Is this how it is done, or do you guys have some other way of doing this? Hi.I wonder if it is possible... I've been flying the stock Mooney for a few months now and have finally got tired of the supernova tail-light.Is it possible to make it smaller? The red & green wingtip lights are about right, which may cause some difficulty- it's just the tail light that looks huge when seen from a few hundred feet away in spot view.Thanks.D

Hi guys, i got WOAI working with FS9 without any problems, well atleast i thought i did.. I followed everyones tips to get the traffic showing up on FS9 but here is my problem.When at say JFK i see traffic but not as much as there should be for JFK, There are lots of spaces that do not have traffic...Also, when i went to KDTW, i saw absolutly no planes, there wasn't one of the ground, i have a good range of US carriers installed that fly to DTW but there is not any there atall.I know Delta mainly operate DTW now, is there a way to have Delta fly the routes they do today on FS9 at KDTW?I will be ever so grateful for some help :) thank you :)

This evening while on final approach into KMSP, the "aircraft" that was directly ahead of Boeing was a cruise ship. I was somewhat tempted to see what gate it would be assigned.Tom

Just wanted to know how you can get OOM errors on XP 32 bit with the 3G switch installed and FS9.exe as large address aware. What other things can trigger it despite these safeguards?I haven't been able to fix my OOM errors for the last 3 months, and facing the thought of reinstalling FS2004 with all my payware add-ons... must say, just doesn't feel worth it. Crazy, I know, with all the money invested, but the huge effort involved just makes me balk. I've done everything... even reinstalled original textures. Nothing works. It's so frustrating that I have almost no interest in simming anymore. Even with all my scenery disabled I'm still getting them! Completely out …

I am trying to get the wingtip vortext effect from FSX to work in FS9. I have found the files and it works but I can't quite get it to line up with the wingtip.This is the basic set up for the POSKY A330 but it doesn't quite fit the CLS A333.A330 (Project Opensky)[smokesystem]smoke.0=0, -49.2, -97.6, vortex6smoke.1=0, -49.2, 97.6, vortex6Anyone know which of the values I need to change to LOWER the placement of the effect as it it just above the wingtip with the above values? Been quite a while since I tried to leave the cockpit and walk back through the cabin of an aircraft. Flying the Tupolev TU-114 (What a plane, if you don't have it, you have missed something!) I decided to go back and visit the passengers on a flight from KJFK to UUMM.In my virtual panel, I turn around with my hat switch toward the rear of the aircraft in the cockpit, press Ctrl + Enter, and start moving back to the rear of the aircraft with no problems. I make it by the front exit door to the cabin and the first Passenger area. At that point, movement stops and it will not let me progress any farther. What a shame. Hi!Im really tired of landing at an airport and parking at a gate which is practically dead. All i want is some stairs to show up, dock to my aircraft and relieve my passengers from having to break their legs everytime i land at a non-Aes supported, no scenery available airport. And no, im notta gonna switch to FSX, yet. I know that i can add stairs to all the airports i want if i just get some bgl and software and stuff, but that is time consuming, and is quite the hassle for me. Is there any feature like AES that will work on every airport, regardless of add on scenery, andjust bring some simple stairs to the aircraft in FS9?

Hi. I am reinstalling FS9 on a new PC and will want to reinstall EditVoicePack there. I tried to get on to EditVoicePack.com but the server seems down.My question is, does EditVoicePack specifically need MS .NET v.1.1 or will it run on later versions too (I will already have v.4.0 on the PC).How about in FSX? The advice is to switch off UAC it seems.Just wanted to ask, is this necessary if you are logged on as Administrator (the MS blurb says UAC will not interfere if you are logged on as administrator, but not sure if this is the case?)? And if you do switch UAC off, do you leave it off permanently or is it best to switch it on again after installation is over? (This PC is for FS9 & FSX only - I us another machine for internet browsing, emails etc.).Only just beginning to find my way around in Windows 7 ....Thanks,Martin

Hi all,I tried a search regarding this issue, but nothing too helpful came out of it. I recently installed a new AFCAD for the default FS9 KSEA scenery, which includes the new runway 34L/16R. I tried taking off from runway 34R/16L and saw that the runway seemed to 'float' slightly above ground level. So, when I would taxi onto the runway, the runway appeared to slide across the ground. Is there a fix for this? With the previous AFCAD file, the runway stayed put. I suppose I can try to contact the author of the file, but if there's a quick fix (perhaps something to flatten?), I'd rather go that route. Thanks for your help!George

After installing FS9 into a new PC and installing Add-On Scenery and Aircraft (Payware and Freeware), I have noticed a number of VOR's and NDB's have moved from their default positions (approximately 30 miles east), despite re-starting FS9 and 'Adding' scenery to Library each time.Is there a way I can access the nav aid data base and insert the correct Lat. & Long. of the misplaced aids that appear on the FS Navigation Map and confirmed on the aircraft instrumentation when airborne?Using Windows 7.

Thought I'd try checking in here and seeing if I could find help here.I upgraded to Windows 7 64 bit from Windows XP about 9 months ago. I started up Fs2004 on one of my older rigs and the photos of the aircraft under the "select aircraft" are missing. The entire space is BLACK. How can this be fixed to bring back the acft photos? Thanks jerrycwo4

Hello,As anyone figured out how to get Holger Maass' APChart.Gau database to recognize/include add-on airports? For example it does not seem to recognize the KIAD add-on which includes the new runway. (In this case, FS2004.)Claude
