Hi All,I have been experiencing very Jagged edges on my FS9 now for the last day or 2. I have a rather new computer and FS9 has been running perfect on it since i got it. My computer recently installed an update which was something to do with my ATI Radeon graphics card, But i checked the settings and they were still the same.I see this mainly on Aircraft and distant scenery or objects.It looks like my scenery is almost bending and stretching and it can really make you dizzy. Hi there,Lateley I have been having a problem on my descent between let's say FL180 to 100.At that time my speed display is 000 and the engine spool to max, and I can't do nothing about it untill I reach FL9800 and then is dispays again and it is overspeed at 430knt, or so.I don't know what to do about it, I have a CHyoke, and I tried to disconnect and reconnect to my USB, with no luck.The problem is only at that time, all the rest is fine. It is with different ACFT, so not only 1.Any idea what can cause this to happen.Thanks for any feedback.Regards

Just completed a flight from Adak Island (PADK) in the Aleutian chain to Henderson Field at Midway Island (PMDY) only to discover on my arrival that there wasn't any airport, oops! So I downloaded a freeware of Midway and installed it and it looks great but for one detail, the landing gear of my 767-300 is about 3 feet below the surface of the tarmac. Hi:I'm running FS9, PMDG 737 and FS Global 2005. Frames rates are set to 21 and I consistently get 21 frames with the exception of ariports where frames can reduce to 15.I find that when in 2D panel view and airborne, when rolling (changing direction of aircraft) the outside scenery seems to stutter and pause for a second before lurching to its nerw position. The lurch is only 1/2 a centimeter or so. It's not that annoying, but it never used to do this until recently. It only occurs on rolling as the scenery changes.I have played with the display settings and this does not alter the lurching screen - nor does flying in zero visability or at night.Any ideas??Thank you. I think you know about the function in FS9 to put the tower view anywhere!So I use MAP London Heathrow, and when I put the tower anywhere and save it, all works fine! But after that I went to the card back, and I have a black window! After that, the Flight simulator crashes!I also have this problem on sun sky jets philadelphia and a freeware alicante scenery! On other scenerys I haven´t this problem!I also haven´t this problem on my old computer!Is there anyone which is able to help me?

I have recently come up against problems with certain airports using RC v4.3.3845 with FSv9.1. I am finding that when I start a flight, RC4 whisks me away to the middle of the ocean to a place that I think is 0 degrees N and 0 degrees west. I think this is because the airport concerned isn't in the a4.csv file?The first time this occurred was at a brand new airport (not in FS by default) at Durban (FALE). After upgrading Make Runways to v4.41 all was OK.This time I am trying to start a flight at DAAE - Bejaia, Algeria. The same is happening. I have run Make Runways v4.41 and also now v4.43. Hi all. I' m currently playing FS98 because my "puter is too old to run FS 2004. I really like FS98. I'm learning alot about flying I've downloaded many free addons but would like to know if anyone here has Airport 2000 v2 by Wilco Publishing or FSGlobal Scenery for FS98 lying around and would like to sell it to me. Hi guys!Recently after flying for real I've realised the limitations of Flight Sim, so I've been trying to make it as real as possible for myself. This includes calculating the amount of fuel I need for each flight.I was planning a flight from Spokane INTL to Yakima last night and got a little stuck with it. I know the basic rule for calculating fuel is:Flight Duration / Average Fuel Flow RateWhat I'm having trouble with is knowing the fuel flow rate. The aircraft I'm using is the Realair C172. Hello FolksI am having problems with Fred Choate's Aviat Husky panel,three of the gauges are missing and see through,I think they must be default FS9 gauges.Does anybody know which FS9 default aircraft panel gauges this particular panel uses?I have checked out the panel CFG and am sure i have installed the default aircraft the panel points to but I may be missing one.CONFUSED?So am II have been doing a bit of light aircraft flying at FSEconomy lately as a break from my usual airliner flying and would like to get the Aviat airborne.cheersAndy

If I run all of these scenery addons simultaneously on my FS9 install, do I have to re-install FScene and REX every time I run GEPro? Does GEPro overwrite the same textures as FScene and REX? I know GEPro installs it's own sky textures, which would overwrite REX's sky textures, but does it overwrite any other of REX's work?Right now I run GEPro, and it installs the appropriate ground textures. Then I re-run the FScene.exe install because I like the autogen. THEN I reinstall REX textures because I like their sky, water, and cloud textures, and THAT takes a very long time to run. hello,I have installed version 4 in Fs-9 under windows 7 64bit.Installation goes fine (no default directory, installed as administrator).However, when I satrt the sim and load the Cheyenne (all versions) only part of the cockpit works.There are no radios (they work but no digits visible) and some of the overhead switches will not budge (Pitot heat among them).I have searched some forums, found that I cannot start the plane in virtual cockpit (which I hate anyway some that was/is not the reason for it not working)Can anybody give me some advice on how to solve this problem?)thanksLuc BrusselmansBelgium.

Before you say it, I know it's REX. But I'm very happy with my cloud, sky and runway textures. So I'm reluctant to invest in REX for mainly just the water textures. If you use something else and you love it, please share. I used to use flight environment but it gave me bad "blocky water" problem. My current water textures are pretty good in terms of colors and reflections. But even these are not free of the "blocky" problem (see screenshot). Is this purely a texture issue? If you don't suffer this, what water textures do you use? Thanks!

Can we use night lights only, from UTE? I mean, can it be installed somewhere else on hard drive, without changing anything in FS, and than activated, within scenery?

I am using FSCommander 8 and to have the map logged on to the aircraft I must use the mouse to reach and click the Map tab and then the Aircraft on Top sub-menu.Identical procedure required to unlog the map and mouse-click it to anywhere in the world.Have I failed to find any mention to this in the program manual, forum search or other alternatives, or is it just impossible to use a combination of keys to do this?Will appreciate any information on this.

hi everyone new to this forum.have been using avsim for ages didn't realise it had a forum. dumb eh....!!!plus all the many other addon sites on the web.since changing to windows vista {mistake}have had a few issues with my add ons especially the ones i have down loaded. i would like to know for all the love and money i can't get world of ai to work even though i have the fs2004 up date and dotnet fix2.0 downloaded. it comes up with an error every time.the other thing which is puzzling me is when i add wing views to planes and go to save them in note book it won't save themall help appreciated. if these subjects have already been covered then i apologise nowcheers matt

Hi folks.I just want you to share your experience with this bird in Vista 64-bit environment. For me it's not technically possible to fly it (all models) since upon exit from FS2004 I'm having CTD with indication that on of the ERJ-panel module is to blame (that's OK - I can live with that) and the most annoying thing is that each of these crash somehow reset FS2004 keyboard assignment to the default one. Simply speaking - with each load of FS2004 (when the last session was with E-Jets) I have to reassign key commands.Feelthere support is less than helpful - "since we cannot replicate this CTD on our system - that's your fault". Having installed this very realistic addition,I am at a loss as to how to determine which signal (A or N) is appropriate. Having flown radio range many years ago in real life I am certain the charts we used showed an A or an N in the appropriate quadrant.I have downloaded the airway charts & airway data info. All that remains is- do I fly the N or the A? Any help would be much appreciated.

After a number of years of non-use, I'm re-installing my Ground Environment Pro and need to put it on the same WideClient machine my Active Sky Evolution. Can somebody jog my memory and tell me on which machine I need to build my custom textures in GE Pro? On the WideClient, or the Server/FS9 machine? (I couldn't find the old thread here using the search engine -- my shortcoming, I know!)Thank you! EDIT: Just to make this a little more complicated, I also have an istall of FS9 on the WideClient from years ago too. Will GE Pro automatically "pass" any new textures across my network to the correct machine? IOW, will it follow ASE's lead in "where to go"?

As the title says, It happens at certain airports, which me make believe towards a scenery problem. The thing is, it started to happen to me recently and these airports in question(example: Flytampa DXB) never gave me problems before, so it might be another add on scenery which causes the problem. I just want to know if it happened to someone else and they had a fix or something.
