Am looking for a number of missing ai-australian ga packages by David Carter. I have attempted to contact the author; however, the address provided in the Readme files bounces and a Google Search does not return any hits. The following files are missing from the AvSim Library: 1, 22, 32, 33, 35, 36, 38 and 39. If anyone has copies of these, and are willing to share them, could they please PM me. Thank you.

Greetings...I've recently gotten a new pc and am in the process of reinstalling FS2004. Fired up the sim to check out my progress and lo-and-behold, I had large, "cartoonish" looking circular nav lights. My old pc had nice, sharp looking realistic nav lights. I tried searching for a solution but came up empty. Any idea what causes this? Is there a setting I'm missing somewhere?thanks!Chris

Hi fs9 has recently just been acting up and I have uninstalled and reinstalled fs9 before posting this to try to fix the problem. My night textures are not blending properly they have sold lines with different shades of dark or light My linkany ideas why it’s looking this way

Hi there,I'm in the market of finally buying a joystick to satisfy my FS9 airbus flying experience. I currently have a ch yoke and was wondering if:1) what is recommended for a good joystick (I don't need a separate throttle as I have a full goflight setup)2) is there an easy way of changing the controllers (yoke/joystick) without having to unplug either one of themI don't want to spend a fortune and want to stay with "regular" brands as my budget is still tight. I'm also not sure if I should go with force feedback or not, so I'm open to any recommendations.Thanks in advance,Pete

Hi all,I decided to reinstall my wilco airbus Vol 1 for FS9 after leaving it at the back of my HDD, and it installed fine, except for one big problem. Whenever I turn around the ailerons flutter like mad and the plane goes left and right, sometimes it becomes uncontrollable. I tried disabling the FBW computers using the overhead but that didn't help. I tried installing the latest service pack that changes the AIR and CFG files...it didn't work. The fluttering just doesn't stop and is erratic and random. Any help please? I have Win7 64 Bit. Thanks. The wilco airbus forum is down so I decided to come here :S. Any help at all is appreciated!

The Recent Ministry of Defence spending review in the UK has confirmed that the fastest jet transport flying today will be fully withdrawn by 2013 :-((((However that still allows plenty of time to upgrade stuff that was not on the original panel.The OH panel now has L to R:- A fully integrated and operational cabin pressurisation system.Control surface indicators properly illuminated from dusk to dawn.Refrigerant boost fan.Working oxygen supply pressure gauge.Doors opening and closing lights also mirrored on the EO's panel.A Just for fun Panic button. Hello guys!Since a few days I have a fatal error with flightsimulator!First I only use the Saitek X52 Flight Control SystemWhen I selw the aircraft a few secound it all works fine, but after 5 secounds the aircraft starts rotation very, very fast! It turn 360° faster than one secound!When I put the ruder to a other position, all works fine, but after I put the ruder in the normal position the aircraft restarts that fast rotating!I had this problem one year ago but I can´t remember how I fixed that!Could you guys please help me?

Hi Y-all,Anybody who had download for VC-10 military UK from AVSim recently? If you have FS2004 and do you getting crashed FS2004 when you loading up at the Fairford, UK airport. I have same problem issue couldn't load and crashed FS2004. I removed traffic UK for VC10. I re-run FS2004 and loading Fairford, UK it was fine without VC10. Why was VC10 problem conflict scenery or something? I checked the texture was normal DXT3 not high bytes it is 1,480,650 bytes. I don't get it why it happen crashed. What can we do with working right with VC10 texture or else? Thanks,Stuart

Hi,I just finished assembling new PC (old one had HD crashed) and in the meantime I'm reinstalling all the addons from the scratch. I officially purchased FSNAV in 2002 via simmarket and never had problems with reinstalling it. Now, since FSNAV official support is dead, simmarket claims that they cannot provide a link to me for re downloading.The question is - where I may get FSNAV main installer now if I legally purchased this program.Thanks for your help.Dmitriy

It appears the Aeroworx B200 Forum may be permanently gone? It has been unavailable for a few days now; does anybody have any information? Is anyome aware of an application that somehow records the actual path flown in FS2004 and automaticallz saves a KML file from it to be viewed later on in Google Earth? What I am looking for is a lightweight small memory print application not some bloated GE flight following utility.Any tips are most welcome and appreciated,Thanks.Alex

On a flight from Budapest to Vienna, upon landing approach I quickly realized that the runway lights were visible but no pavement. Basically I landed in a field. I tried reinstalling Vienna but to no avail. I am running Windows 7 64 with only REX and Fscene X installed from and environment standpoint. I use FSX as well and have no issues when running Vienna in FSX. Since I really have not much texture addons for FS9 am wondering what the problem can be. I have FS 2004 and FS Global 2008 installed. I am looking for an add on, or combination of addons, which will enhance my textures ( Sky, clouds, water, ground, etc).I have read about REX, and Ground Environment Pro. In looking at the galleries of this two addons, I could guess that Ground environment Pro has an emphasis on the ground textures, cities, rural areas etc ( I saw the screenshots and they look really amazing), while REX concentrates on sky clouds, water, and sky. Can this two programs co-exist at the same time? I read the online tutorials of GE PRO, and in the second tutorial they explain how to create texture sets, and they warned about possibly taking up to …

Hi all,I would like to use the panel for Wilco/Feelthere A340-600 for the Overland A340-500.I know about a merge for the A340-600 where one move the Overland model into the Wilco folder and edit the contactpoints and lights section of the aircraft.cfg.However, how would one do this for the A340-500 since the wilco fleet does not include the -500?Any ideas. I would love to have a fully functional A340-500 in my hangar.

Hi guys, please bear with me, this is my first post here so please go easy...I'm at a complete loss as to what the problem is. In a nutshell even after three re installs I am unable to load FS9 past the 'getting started screen'. I've been using the sim since the beginning and had a few issues which I've always been able to deal with myself but this one has me beat.. Once the sim is right clicked (even in admin mode) the normal FS2004 splash screen comes up...then the screen goes blank followed by the initial light blue screen (getting started' but this is blank! and what appears to be a much lower resolution (ie the words are much larger).The menu is still there down the…

I don't know which button I push but I can't turn teh front wheel and turn the rudder. It happened to me before and I don't remember how I fixed it. The test and calibration on my pedal work perfectly. The pedal brakes work fine it is just for turning the problem. Can anyone help?Thanks folks.Al Boulianne

I currently use the Overland A330 mainly because it has a great VC and good exterior textures for it, but lacking a lot in systems. However i work around that by using the PSS panel, but its not what you call... professional not even is it reliable, sometimes the nothing works in that panel or in flight. take for instance the A/P or the APP. no FBW modeled also. im beginning to get aggravated with this since there is literally no great A330 or A340 in depth systems wise simulation, i am turning to the FS community to ask what people use for their Airbus heavies. After a good deal of experimenting I finally discovered the source of the mysterious "hill" which appears (on some simmers setups) near the new Long Beach airport (KLGB) by Shez.The hill comes from an EZ library named woody's ez rocks_boulders_snowdrifts.bglIf you remove that file and it's associated txt file (woody's ez rocks_boulders_snowdrifts.txt) the "hill should dissapear.It is still very much of a mystery as to why the KLGB scenery "triggers" a placement of the "hill" from that bgl.I have attached a screenshot again showing the "hill" in question.Hope this helps anyone who see's the same mysterious "hill" that I do (or rather "did").
