Hi everyone,I currently use GE Pro for my scenery and it is very nice but i am always looking to improve my fs9 and saw UT Europe which includes roads, rail and water. Would this be a worthwhile upgrade or would it clash with my GE Pro. If you run with both packages, which one takes precedence or do they run combined?Although it would be good to have the best textures, is it really a case or one or the other as it seems like i would be duplicating similar products?thanks

Is UT USA mesh and landclass or just landclass? Then if it's landclass is it advisable to also get FS Genesis landclass for USA?Please give me info on this topic. I have searched google trying to find difference between the 2: UT USA and FS Genesis National Landclass Project

I've been simming a long time. Until recently I used my trusty Dell Dimension 4600 with 2.5g of RAM and 256mg ATI memory. FS9 ran pretty good, although I never visited places like London or New York for fear of a considerable lack of frame rates. Well the old girl finally gave up the ghost, and I upgraded to a Inspiron 570 with 6g of RAM and got myself an Nvidia GTS450 1gb video card. I couldnt wait to get FS9 reinstalled on this new machine!! For the most part, it hasn't disappointed. Frames are through the roof and London and New York are regular stops now. One issue I'm having is driving me nuts. I get jagged lines on my aircraft. I also get them on runways …

I have been reinstalling FS9 in my Windows Ultimate 64 bit machine. I have read the numerous posts here, that adviced against installing FS9 in the Program Files (x86) folder. So, I bought a 300GB velociraptor drive, called it K: drive and installed my F2004 as K:/FS9.I started installing my planes and sceneries and I have found that some of them are looking for the "Program Files (x86)" folder by default. I changed that to K:/FS9 and I got a message saying that FS9 is not found. What can I do? Juan

Hello fellow simmers,I've just downloaded AI Seperation from the library. I'm running about 50 WOAI packages at 100%. I need this kind of software especially for the final approach phase of my flights where all AI pile up.Those who are using it, any thoughts?

I'm a bit of a freeware VC snob and have searched high and low for an A320 with a virtual cockpit. I've since rebuilt/merged the Aerosoft 318 and have a nice functioning VC along with my Project Open Sky A330's, and A340's...but does anyone know of a freeware A320 (or 321..310 would be cool too if a freeware VC one is out there).. that has a virtual cockpit? I'd love to have one in my collection since I'm lacking some of the medium airbus birds compared to my overgrown Boeing collection. Anywise, thanks! **Also, even if it lacks gauges I'm willing to get going on programming/merging one to functionality.

I've been using FS9 since it came out and never encountered this one. When calling up the start airport KSEA, the screen starts downloading the files for that area and before it gets any (0%) it freezes up and the only way I can get out is to invoke the task manager and 'end task' for FS9. I tried starting in Vancouver and flying to Seattle and when I get to where you can see the airport start to generate detail, the screen freezes up (with sound but no control of the airplane). When I start at Boeing Field it freezes too, but when in the air from Vancouver, I can see boeing field scenery is some detail before it freezes. I am using the default airport scenery for KSE…

I intend to do a small fire adventure in FS9. I have found two great things for this.Massimo Taccoli's CL415 great water bomber and Scott Gridley and Ron Jeffers FS-Blaze to create a fire where you want the fire. The program works great separately but together it's not so great.When the water bomber come close to the fire the 'smoke' from the water drop is no longer visible.There are som hints on the net, move the 'smoke' section to the 'light' section and this vill help a little. But the 'smog' is red and you have to fiddle with the lights!Aren't there anyone who has a better solution to this problem?Jonny

Hi Just wondered if anyone knew about any developers making a Dubai Airport Scenery for FS9/FSX, I did see one via FSdeveloper.com, but that project seems to be dead, as the developer website has been offline for a long time.Would be good to have a proper updated DXB Airport.Thanks

Anybody maybe knows, which cloud sets are NOT transparent in REX? I'm still using HDEv2 by Pablo Diaz, but i want to change them, but most of the sets from the REX are transparent...i mean they look like someone take a paintbrush and paint them on the sky...somehow they don't look like clouds at all, from the distance or high altitudes.Thanks!

I just bought the 737 The Next Generation Boeing 737-600/700. Upon installing the program I got the following error. "Installation cannot continue. Your registry does not show a valid FS9 installation location. I currently have FS09 installed. I was wondering if anyone can help me out with the installation. I also have the current V1.3 installed.

I am not only frustrated in my attempts a making an FS movie, but also confused. I have read several tutorials and have tried out various programs but always I’m disappointed with the results.Here’s what I have done and what I understand along with the questions I have.FS Recorder: I have downloaded and used this program to record flights. i am having issues with flight simulator 9 and third party addons not showing their menu.everytime that i click in any of third part addons, they just stay at black screen, but if u alt-tab, you can see the addon menu.this is weird, since you can't configure the addons.someone know a solution for this?using windows 7 ultimate 64bits

Hi,After reading through the FMGS FCOM multiple times I still can't find the answer to a abnormal situation on the A320 so hopefully someone here can assist.How can you force the aircraft out of Approach mode? some background to the situation I found myself in last night. I was departing a high altitude airport using TOGA thrust and what I thought we're the correct speeds calculated by TOPCAT, however shortly after VR the aircraft entered ALPHA FLOOR and then TOGA LK .
