I have just started a world tour in FS9 and haven't really planned all of it so was looking for ideas or suggestions of where I should go and the must-sees of the FS9 world. There aren't many sites out there documenting world tours in FS but I'm sure it's been done loads.Anyone got any experience to share?

Hallo to everybody.I'm an italian fresh member, interested in FS9 scenery as "young" developer (not in age!); i downloaded several scenarios with related textures (sometime updating the existing ones) and recently, i'm NOT ABLE TO SEE any grass runway or taxiway and similar: the view is completely white (no colour) or grey; i tryied to modify the runways/taxiways/others with AFCAD v2.21 but the problem still remain!? (see attachment)Many Thanks in advance if some of you will address me to the problem solution

Hello you know that when plane is taxing it is shaking a little bit, but in FS it is going very smooth. is there any addon to change that? also in real world runways arn't straight Can we make runways in fs like this?

Hey guys! I was just wondering where can I find some really good 777 normal procedures? I've looked on the PSS file and the PDF file but I don't like the way they put them on there. I was wondering if anyone knows where I can download or purchase procedures...Thank you, Jason

How often did I say "we do not have a quality 777 for FS". I can't count the times I said that. And I believed it, too. Sure, I knew about the PSS777 and read reviews about it. However, knowing the age of the product, I thought it wasn't really worth looking at. And sure, I did know of the merge with the POSKY 777. I had read about it, and at one point I had installed the POSKY 777 to see what the VC was all about. And still, I didn't take the step to buy the PSS 777, for two reasons:- I wasn't gonna pay 40 euros for such an old release;- It seemed to hard to do the merge and get a good model for the plane.But then Justflight had a sale for the PSS777, reducing its cost b…

I just bought Flight Environment and it goes great with GE and UT. But I suddenly have unlimited visability and can't change it. I usually fly with 30 mi. vis. and MAX_UNLIMITED_VIS = 30000 instead of the default 96560 in fs9CFG which looks very realistic. These products together with FSG mesh are...WOW! FSX who cares? But I would like to get my haze back - Any thoughts?Rich

After installing and running FS9 for couple of weeks, Now I noticed the runway heading and the aircraft magnetic headings (aligned to the runway) do have 20 to 40deg. variations. Even while landing the ILS centered heading and the runway are not aligned. Any one knows how this discrepancy occurs? Is there a known solution?I appreciate for the help.I am using Win Vista OS.Thanks.

Hi guys.I saw somewhere post about possible problems with Win7 and fs9.The problem was solved with installing older Microsoft Visual C++ Redistributable which are not included in W7.Did somebody saw this post and could somebody confirm this.ThanksEdin H.

Has anyone got the autopilot to work in the iFly 747? Seems I am not the only one to have problems (see last line):http://www.racerplanet.com/forum/showthread.php?t=15668'Problems' is an understatement - the autopilot doesn't engage (although the AP lights come on) and unless I pull back quite hard on my joystick the plane goes into a vertical dive.Should I just scrub this a/c or am I missing something? Hello people, back with another question about products. This time it's FSDreamteam's JFK. I have flown twice now to and fro NYC for vacation (so yes, this is real world I'm talking about). Now I would love to do the same route in FS. After acquiring FlyTampa's Boston and flying KBOS-EHAM-KBOS with my new PSS/POSKY 777 merge, I ended up really liking the idea of these transatlantic route. And, what's also nice, is that JFK and KBOS are very close together, thus giving me a perfect route for my ERJ-145. The flight will be short and sweet, exactly what I want. Hi Everyone! :( this is my first post on the Avsim forum, and im looking for anybody who might be able to help me?I have recently upgraded my computer from XP 32bit to Vista 64bit, and am reinstalling my addons and FS9 etc.The problem im having is with the PMDG 747-400. Iv installed it properly, and when i go to slect the aircraft in the main FS9 Menu, it loads the Airac, but does'nt make the usual "Ding" sound, and then it wont actually let me select the aircraft ever time i click ok it just lopps me around the FS9 select an aircraft menu? Hello AllCan somebody advise me on how to unin and then rein the FS9 update.My version of FS9 shows as version 9 not 9.1.Without going into detail I have had a lot of PC hassle recently involving new hard drive,rein XP ,rein fs9 bbbbbbblah!I first tried unin (using the proper patch uninstaller)the update,removed the backup file, etc. etc. that seemed to go OK,but when it comes to reinstalling I am getting update error34 and that's as far as get. I've now advanced to learning how to fly the bigger jets (737-400) and since this aircraft is parked at a gate I need to use the "pushback" feature. According to the manual I need to release the brake, press ctrl+p to start and stop the pushback. This part works fine. The manual also says to use the numeric 1 & 2 keys to turn the aircraft during pushback. I can't get this to work. I have tried the 1 & 2 keys across the top of the keyboard. I have tried the ! & 2 keys on the numeric keypad with Num Lock turned on and off with no luck. I'm currently using Flight Sim 2004. What am I doing wrong?

I'm try to make some improvement on taxi light, runway light...all default lights on default airports and runways. So, i know that FS use halo.bmp as texture, but what effects are in use? For airport lightning...Anyone knows the name of those effects?

Hello I know this is not place for this post but please understand me. Yesterday I had very bed day. I got angry with my friend and wife. On the BAV virtual forum (www.bavirtual.co.uk) someone posted that he don't likes my postes so I was angry and said that I don't want to stay in this airline and that he is very rude. Next moring I was banned in that airline. That day when I joined that airline I was happiest men on the earth. So I want to say sorry to BA crew and person to who I said that he is very rude. Hello In my 2D panel gauges like (PFD: ND) are running smooth but not in 3D any solution?

Hi guys, I am having a problem here.The Lisbon airport textures,ground aswell they are shimmering, and it looks like they are not mip mapping. Does anybody have a fix for this? I was reading you can make the textures mip mapping yourself, but how?Any help giving is apperciated.Thanks alot,

I hope somebody can help with this... When (default) ATC is ready to issue my aircraft approach instructions, it seems to do the same for about 10 other aircraft, all immediately one after the other. This slows down my sim substantially for 5-10 seconds, then all is fine again.Does anyone have any ideas on how to stop ATC doing this?

Hello, After reaching approximately 32,000 ft in a CLS DC-10-30, I notice the airspeed drops and the plane eventually stalls (full thrust). I've never been able to surpass 34,000 ft due to stalling.Any suggestions to what I'm doing wrong?

Is there any advantage in using AISmooth and aiseparation together, or will one cancel the other out.
