Hi All:I purchased the RealityXP radar and used the aircraft cfg checking wx radar and then starting FS9. I get a message that says I have insufficient memory to run FS9. If I uninstall the radar, FS9 runs fine.I haveDell XPS Gen 5 with 2 GM Ram.Any ideas? Any ideas for installing in the Level D 767? Can I pull up the radar as a pop-up while runniing FS9?Thanks in advance all!Ed Ryan

Hi, guys! Can anyone recommend their favorite cockpit DVDs or online videos? My wife is bugging me for a Christmas list and although cockpit vids are something I've always wanted, they seem to be a bit high in price so far as DVDs go, so I would never be inclined to buy them for myself. I'm mostly interested in learning how major English speaking airlines conduct procedures from cold and dark through take off, climb and cruise right through to parking and shut down, and I fly the Boeing steel pretty much exclusively -- 737NG, 747, 757, 767 and 777.Thanks for your help (and my wife thanks you too!)

Hi all!I have a question regarding the engine start of the Overland A3XX series. I noticed when starting the engines they go to almost 100% N1 and then slowly back to normal values. I have tried looking to the aircraft.cfg file, a3xx.air file, but could not find any setting to adjust this. Any clues?Thanks in advance!Erik

Is it possible to put FSX mesh into FS9? I can't seem to find freeware asia mesh so i found FSX asia mesh: http://flightsim.com/file.php, and i would like to know if it can be placed into FS9. Not only for asia but for other regions too, since FSX mesh is nice and higher resolution (correct?)Thx.

I hate mergers especially loosing Northwest but we are in real need of a new Delta pack that reflects the merger. The regional carriers flying the Delta flag like Compass Airlines needs an update as well. Just a humble request so our sim reflects 2011 not 2008. Before someone says it I wish I had the talent and time to do it myself but both are on limited supply on my end these days. United Airlines and all their regionals would be the next major work needed. These mergers not only create havok in the real world but virtually as well as creating these packages is no easy task.

What is the proper format for entering ATC parking codes in a FS9 aircraft config file? I want to add DALX and NWAX parking codes for several aircraft. Do you put a space between the codes or a comma with no space? The AFCAD already has both parking codes so I'm just trying to change the aircraft .cfg file. Thanks for any help,Bill

Hey guys,I've recently downloaded ifly 747 for FS9, great add-on, everything was doing well yesterday... so today I hear about services packs which apparently improve gameplay, so I downloaded them up to the 2nd ( couldn't find the third ) and now when I launch a flight with an ifly 747, the FMC and the screens ( PFD, navigation display ... ) are all turned off.. it looks like as it's a cold and dark but not really, because I hear engines running slowly and I do have electricity on ( landing lights ... ) So what am I supposed to do if I want to start a flight with everything turned on just like before ? and what do I have to do if I want to start in a total cold and dark …

I read a thread in the FSX forum on tweaking the shader thingy in FSX. I tried this in FSX, and it made a significant improvement to frame rates in FSX.I wonder if the same thing can be done in FS9?There are two ways of doing this in FSX.1. The first is to add an entry to the DISPLAY.CFG file in the FSX root directory. FS9 also has a DISPLAY.CFG file in its root directory, but the entries in it look nothing like those in the FSX version, so I suspect that doing the FSX tweak in the FS9 DISPLAY.CFG file won't work, as FS9 probably won't understand the new entries.2. I am in the process of reinstalling FS9 and I have no "data" for FS Navigator. When I open the program from FS9 using the F9 key the program opens and I seem to have all the parts including the lat and long lines but there is no other information. Does anyone have any idea what I have done wrong and how I can fix this problem?Thank you,R Jones

Hi,I am trying to practice EFTO CH Pro pedals and Level D 767. I have calibrated the rudder on FS9 (and CH manager) but I cannot Get enough Rudder authority to control the yaw(nose swinging) on an engine failure at V1+15Knts.Is there anyway to increase rudder control in FS9?Rgds FliteSimmer

Does anyone out there have the names of good scenery and helicopter or plane add-ons? I am looking to upgrade my flight sim experience and have found that the default scenery and the default planes and helicopters could be a whole lot better. I am even willing to go to payware add-ons. I want to make the transition to payware soon and would like to have the names of those scenery add-ons and the helicopters and planes that are the best deals and the most attractive looking for FS9. Hey guysI have this PCCorsair TX750WCooler Master 690 II Gigabyte X58A-UD3RIntel Core i7 920 Gigabyte GTX460 1GB SLI6GB Mushkin 1600mhz RAM CL7Samsung SpinPoint F3 1TB HD103SJ + 160GB Wester Digital (both SATA)FS9 was working excellent and in any posible situation i was getting 40+ fpsNow for some odd reason after some time playing the FPS starts to drop.first it goes from 50 to 30 than after more time to 20 and when I am on final in the end of the flight it goes to 11-16 fps which improves to 11-18 after I turn of the Sound by pressing QSO PLEASE HELP using update 9.1

In this topic, I described a problem I had where, out of nowhere, my FPS was cut in half at least. This happened in all of the FS world, so it couldn't have been a scenery issue. Windows XP, FS9, standard Realtek stereo sound card within ASUS motherboard.When I launch FS9 everything goes out through this card as usual.Then I plug in a set of USB headset & microphone and FS9 audio then switches to the USB headset. :( Is there any way to maintain FS9 audio to the main sound card and not get it on the USB headset ?Other (more recent) software give the ability for you to choose the path of their sound output if you have multiple sources.Kyprianos Biris

I made a flight then re-installed Ground environment pro. Now when I start FS9 the engine starts to spool up and then dies. I have used system restore to a point before the GE-PRO installation but to no avail. Before when I started up the engines would start and then I would shut them down as per the checklist and restart "dark and cold" I have went through the whole procedure as per check list and no help. Flying a PMDG NG but it does the same in the Cessna. Any ideas ?
