I, along with every single person I know, has had out of error messages from this scenery. It doesnt even use all my RAM, I have 8GB, but just out of nowhere flight sim comes up and says "Flight sim has run out of available memory to run", and then it closes. Its extremely irritating, and if I dont find a fix, I will be forced to uninstall it as I just cant take it any more. This scenery looks great, but i'd rather have horrible looking default scenery that atleast doesnt crash than use this...Thanks ahead of time!

Have been thinking about weather to switch from2004 to fsx as was wondering everyones opinion. Just not sure if I want to give up all the searching, testing, installind and tweaking thats been done on 2004. Is it worth it. Is it ALOT better. Thanks for any insight.

Hi Folks, does anybody have any idea why, when I click the 'APP' button on the radio for picking up the ILS vectors FS2004 suddenly shoots me toward the moon at about 1000' per second.I have the correct frequency tuned on NAV1, planes trimmed etc.Any ideas?ThanksJohn

Recently completed "Amelia's" around the world flight, and I have the following two questions about the Electra:1. On the panel, what is the "Cambridge" gauge? It has a scale of 0-9 with a multipler of 0.1. I am not familiar with this term. I had RPM, MP, fuelflow, and EGT gauges on my panel and the "Cambridge" gauge does react to power settings but does not seem to exactly duplicate any of these.2. Does the Electra have direct tail wheel steering? This is a new one for me for tail wheel birds. Sure does make it easier to handle on the ground, but I wonder if the real world bird was free wheeling like all others I have flown or actually had direct steering.If you would li…

Good Morning all,I am interested in chatting with anyone who has installed the Visiontek HD4670x2 quad card and who might be using it presently. I am using this card as I wished to operate fs9 in a four-monitor environment. I am "fiddling" with the ATI Catalyst settings and not really sure about whether or not I have the card set up properly. My system includes Windows 7 Home Premium (64bit), a MSI X58 Pro-E motherboard with an Intel core i7 processor 950 @ 3.07 Ghz. I have 8 Gigs of DDR3 ram installed. I would appreciate any suggestions and/or advice. Thank you.

Without any obvious reason it is suddenly impossible to set NAV and COM frequencies. I can tune in in the standby window, transfer the new value to the active window but after about a second the value in the active window turns automatically back to the default value 118.000 for COM and 108.00 for NAV. This happens with all installed planes Microsoft default and third-party addons. I thought of corrupt radio gauge files, installed the original ones, no luck. As I usually start up cold and dark I thought of the avionics switch not switched on, so I created a flight with the Cessna cold and dark saved it as default flight, shut FS9 down, started up again - same problem with…

Ok, I admit I'm knew to the King Air. But I've been flight Sim for years and know Basic Ap Operation. Here's the problem. Flying along, Turn on AP, select HDG. My hdg indicator is matched with my current heading. The autopilot turns to some random course (One that is not set any where on the plane). Ok, it levels at IT'S decided course. I hit my hdg knob on the AP to line up the hdg indicator on the hsi with the heading I'm flying. The autopilot turns to another completly random course. What's going on. PLS (AP mode is set to Nav, not gps)

Hi AllJust a quick quesion; I recently departed Fly Tampa's Vienna V2 in a snow storm, but noticed that I had no winter / snow airport textures even though all of the surrounding textures were covered in snow.Does anyone know how to 'enable' them, ie, under what weather criteria(?) are the snow textures loaded?Many thanksGary

I know this may seem like a silly question but can't figure out what is the main difference between using the heading knob on the autopilot or using the course knob. What is the difference and when would you use one vs the other. Thanks for any help.

have been practicing (Til I can't get out of this chair :( ) with the Aerosoft King Air. Everything I read says to keep the ITT Guage at or under 740. No matter what I do with my throttles, prop levers or anything else my guages stay almost maxed out. Did I miss a step somewhere at startup or screw my engines up? Spending ALOT of time trying to fly this plane (Which I think I'm falling in love with) correctly. Any Suggestions. Thanks.

I have (bought and paid for) Japan Scenery's Tokyo and was wondering about the new runway for Haneda which officially opens tomorrow. Just wondering if anyone knows what happened to Japanscenery.com and the title is no longer for sale on simmarket. Have run into a problem with fs 2004 and windows 7 64 bit. When fs 2004 and all my add ons were loaded in to drive c-- no problem all worked well and did so for seveal months. about 2 months ago I went to fly, when fs 2004 started the program began to flicker and was totally unusable. I have made multipule attempts to uninstall and reinstall, same thing, All other programs work fine. I have FSX on a 2nd hard drive, no issues, Im at my wits end!!! My system is as follows intel 860 i7, 8gig memory, ATI 5700 Graphics card, wd 500 HD, windows 7 64 bitany help would be appreciated!! Thanks--Matt

why does ai traffic release its landing gear as it turns on approach, why can,t they go straight and release the gear rather than turning.plus my ai traffic land at a low altitude like 2500ft at a surtain point for example , i watch the woarld of ai traffic approaching into london heathrow as they are on final they turn and release their landing gea, on the other hand in real life i live in london and i see the heathrow aircraft land at 4000ft and fy in straight as they take their landing gear out. please if anyone has any solutions in changing the configuration of the ai rather than letting them turn as they release their landing gear please help thank you.

Hi experts, Can you give me some advice as my knowledge is a bit limited once I get into Hardware stuff. I recently upgraded my Graphics Card to a ATI Radeon HD 4650 AGP 1Gb to improve FS9 performance and it does seem better. But I am getting conflicting views from friends of mine. They think It should be even better than it is. I can run the "Century of Flight" flights with sliders for weather, clouds traffic etc. at about 70% and 25- 27 frames per second. Once I switch on anti liasing, shadows etc. it slows down a bit but is still better than before. I have updated all the relevant drivers etc with no problems. So my questions are:1. I am to…

Hello,1) I have this problem when I have my autopilot on and that is that I cannot read my own speed because it stays at 000. Is there a way to fix it?2) I am a beginner in flying a plane in FS2004 and slowly learning how to fly one. I know how to taxi, takeoff and use autopilot correctly. However I don't know how to land my plane after disengaging my autopilot. Is there a way you can automatically make your plane land safely without me doing it myself? If there is can somebody give me a full detailed explanation of how to do it?Thank You

Airsimmer A320's rudder is always in the rightmost position. After engine start made in strict accordance with all procedures described in the manual the rudder remains as it is. Taxiing is impossible let alone take-off. My Saitek Pro Flight Yoke and Pedals is tuned and calibrated and works perfectly with all other aircrafts. FS9, Win7. I'll appreciate any suggestion.

Good day everyone,I have a rather simple question to ask, I was just looking at adding a 2nd pc To my current pc to run other programs while using fs9 to maybe get better performance, seeing as I have a tower with all hardware just sitting in my basement, if I want to network these together can I simply just use a Ethernet cord and plug them in the Ethernet ports on both pc and that's it? Do i also need to have fs9 instLled on both pc'sThanks a bunch in advance

I have been having an issue trying to load saved flightplans. I click on the "LOAD" icon in FS2004 to load the plan and nothing happens. Basically my sim freezes and after a few minutes im forced to restart.Anyone else had this issue? I am using windows 7 64 bit version.Any ideas are much appreciated.thanks.Drew

Have installed the aerosoft cheyenne and just noticed there is NO difference in the Taxi Lights and Landing Lights. Does anyone know of a fix for this? Thanks for any help.

hello everyone, i have a really weird issue with FS9, and it seems to happen with all my aircraft, Opensky(Now FreeSky Project), SGA/FFX, Project Airbus...ect, all freeware. for some reason, if i turn the aircraft in either direction the plane will have a tendency to either speed way up or slow way down, so for example im flying at mach .79 and i have a fairly sharp turn over a waypoint, the aircraft will go from .79 to like .81 for higher, or it will slow down to like .77 or even lower, so when it needs to throttle up it goes down, when it needs to throttle down it goes up, also im using the IAS hold, so its not like im flying manually and im just not doing anything lol.…

I have unregistered version of FS Real Time, and all I want is correct time when i fly over different time zones, does unregistered version let me do this or will I have to register?

I have just D/L two of David Voogd's sceneries,Cedar Lakes Logging and Woodland Caribou, in both sceneries some of the scenery objects are out in the lake, this looks like a problem brought on by Ultimate Terrain. (Without U.T. there are no lakes)is there some file I require to bring the shore line to the correct position as used by David?As I dont know what object placer program he used I can't relocate the objects.Any ideas or help would be appreciated.Arrdee.
