All of a sudden I'm having a problem with Just Flight's 777 Professional B777-200/300 planes! When I try to load one from the panel screen, the panel makes a brief appearance then the screen goes blank and after a couple of minutes I get the "FS has encountered a problem and needs to restart" window. If I try to load a 777 Pro plane from an exterior view FS still crashes, but not quite as quickly. When I click on the get details button on the crash window the file PSS_b777.gau is listed. I tried restoring the file from an old back up thinking the file must have got corrupted somehow, but this did not fix the problem.The thing is, this isn't the first time I've experie…

Hey, guys.I did some searching, but didn't really find an answer...I was running FSX (with a fair amount of money spent on add-ons), but gave it up after growing tired of my system's lack of performance and the constant tweaking I needed to do. I still had a lot of fun with it, but just a reached a point where it wasn't worth the effort to continue or upgrade my system.So, a year or so later and I have the urge to do some casual simming now and plan to put FS9 back on my system. Just got FSBuild 2 and am not any kind of expert flight planner. Any suggestions on building a plan for newbies with it?. Any options I should turn on that arn't on by default? Thanks for any help

Strange thing happening... Working on a new PC build - moving some FS9 folders over to the new drive. My aircraft sounds are great with an outside view but inside 2D or 3D they are scratching and squealing. This happens when I after take-off approaching probably 200+ knots. Tried it with several different aircraft that I know sound great on my old PC. And here's something funny, the default FS9 aircraft sound great inside! So it's not a bad onboard sound card (expensive MB). Only my add-ons right now are sounding all scratchy inside. Attempted to do a night flight and this happened. this is for EVERY PLANE (every add on plus fs9 defaults) 2d panel is fine. VC is 100% dark without lighting..with lighting its fine. Exterior with and without lighting is Black? I'm having trouble with the flight planner in fs9. Basically fs9 crashes whenever I try to make or use flightplans it in a specific area. This area is roughly the UK and western spain. F.e. I fill in EGLL as departure aerodrome and fs9 quits. I load a flightplan EGLL-EHAM and FS9 quits. I open the EDIT tab move the detailed map of EHAM towards the west/UK and FS9 quits. I make a flightplan from Madrid (LEMD) to Barcelona (LEBL) and FS9 quits.I have re-installed FS9, removed all the add-on scenery, but the problems remain. Flying is OK, no problems there. Hello, The problem I am having is that my clouds one moment are very real looking 3D clouds and the next they are very flat, 2D and grey. Sometime when I'm flying It doen't do it but then other time it will do this every 2 or 3 seconds. It's not a huge problem but I would really appreciate some advise because it is rather annoying.Thanks in advance

Would anyone mind explaining how to successfully change these callouts (keyword, successful). Why I emphasize successful is because clearly just overwriting the .wav files doesn't work as I still here the defaults. I'm wondering if something in the panel cfg also needs to be altered for the airbus to successful recite the newly placed sound files? I'm using FS9 if that has any correlation. How has everyone else done it? Vista 32bit.

Is anybody else having problems with the FS9 ATC With say My Traffic and Traffic set on 100%. Two flights in a row now atc has really messed me up. Las approach into klas it had me 3000 ft above the runway at less than two miles. The flight before that they just forgot about me and I was headed out to sea!! It's like it get to busy and msfs atc can't handle it.

Haven't gotten a response yet so I thought I would ask here. I have the Captain Sim 757-200 for FS2004. (BTW it's a great flying plane and works OK for the most part)Is there a way to prevent the 3 second freeze when switching from 2D main panel to any other view? My computer runs fine otherwise. Maybe converting the textures to something smaller? (DXT3) If so, where are these files kept?Michael

Hi GuysGot a weird problem. Installed the MAAM KRDG Reading airport. Some of the taxiways and hardstands are showing okay while others are not visible. Have checked the AFCAD with AFX and they're all there. Have tried tweaking elevations with AFX and also the AP927170 file with JAB.BGL and so far no difference. First tried matching the elevations. Then tried moving the AFCAD up so it would show above the ground elevations. No go. The AI aircraft are operating correctly (wheels all showing correct place on the groun) so it seems like the elevations are all correct but????I am using the full set of mesh from Genesis and wonder if that's causing the problem? Hi GuysI had recently uninstalled FS9 to give space to try FSX, however, after a couple of weeks missing my addons, I have now decided to reinstall FS9.This is where my problem starts, as my installation discs are not being read by my DVD drive. Occassionally the setup.exe interface will autostart, but a double click produces no hard drive activity. Selecting the application from within windows explorer also has no effect.The DVD drive will autostart other applications from a DVD and the FS9 disc set I am using is brand new, bought as my original set was scratched.Any offers of help would be appreciated.Thanks in advanceStuart Sutton-Young

Hello there, this is Rohan and I had a question. When I set up a complete route in the FMC with the PSS 777 addon, everything works fine. After takeoff when I arm the VNAV, so the plane will control the speed, it shows that is working but really the plane doesn't control it and the 777 goes above 500 knots! I need help thank you!Also it isn't my route mistake. I am sure that it is the config. on the addon.

I'm using Activesky 6.5 and GEPro. I have AS setup to start GE Pro. I'm I correct in that if I have ForceSky to asg in the option menu of Activesky and then it starts GEPro that FS2004 will use Activesky sky textures and GEPro ground Textures? Hope this makes sense. Thanks for any help.
