Hey guys,I have the freeware XB-70 aircraft. It flies at Mach 3.0. The default panel is, well, crappy. So I installed a known working B747 panel. When I takeoff or fly in the XB-70 now (w/ the 747 panel) I can't get the throttles beyond 100% (thus no afterburners). If i reinstall the default panel, throttles work fine, I get afterburners, get Mach 3.0. With the 747 panel, I don't get the ability to accelerate to Mach 3.0 because the throttles only go to 100%. Has anyone seen an issue where a panel will restrict your throttle movement or prevent your throttle from going to 110%? I know this is a non-standard setup, but I really want the 747 panel to work. Maybe it has changed since the last version of MSFS but it used to be you could get the active runway changed by customizing the weather and selecting the wind direction. Guess you can't do that now. Just tried at San Diego (Ksan) to get the active to 09 so I could practice some ILS Landings. Didn't matter what direction or speed I set the wind at. Is there another way I can do this. Thanks.

Two quick questions. does anyone know where I can download a Manual/Checklist for the Boeing 767-200? I've just downloaded the model by IFDG. If not, does anyone know if the parameters are close to those of the Boeing 747? That seems to be the only Manual/ Checklist I could find to download. Thanks in adavance for any replies.

Does anyone who has Fly Tampa San iego have any problems with the ILS on runway 09. Since installing when flying an AP Approach my AC (Dosn't matter which one I'm in) comes in to Low. Is fine at other Airports.

I have recently got ActiveSky 6.5. I have ksan entered in the Options menu for default station but when I load up the weather it's showing Closest reporting station is DGTK (Ghana). Don't understand where it's getting dgtk. Thanks for any help

I recently did a full reinstall on a new PC running Win 7. Everything has been going wonderfully well (everything I dreamed of) until this evening when suddenly FS9.1 has acquired a serious problem of "stuttering." Every second or so the frame stops momentarily. FPS are normal (in the high 40's and 50's) but every second it just hesititates and it's driving me nuts.I did some tweaking just before it - installed a couple of aircraft as AI and reinstalled the wonderful scenery UNNT but those are things I've done before. First question. I recently got GE Pro 2. I've created 10 texture sets per cloud type. My question is do I have to load these each time I want to use a different set or will FS9 use one depending on the weather. MY second question is I've gon into the panel.cfg file of one of my planes and set the zoom for VIEW_FORWARD_ZOOM=0.6. But when I go into fs9 the zoom is still the defualt 1.0 Do I need to change something else. Thanks for any help

Anybody else having autopilot problems on this plane. When I turnon autopilot (even with Nothing selected on the mcp) I have No turning control. I should be able to turn the plane with only Alt hold turned on for the autopilot. Something I need to check? I've looked at Eaglesoft fourm and didn't see anything. Thanks for any help

Hi,Yesterday I did a clean install of FS9 after upgrading to Win7 Pro 64bit. Everything worked fine, and I began installing my add-on's. After each one I loaded FS to ensure no problems (previous experience has taught me this is best!) before installing the next one. I have started FS this morning to continue installing and got the message 'error opening config file' at the opening splash screen. After pressing 'OK', the sim started and appears to be working normally. I have tried removing the last item I installed and the FS .cfg file so it will rebuild a new one, but the same issue remains.Anyone ever had this or know how to clear it?Many thanksmataus

Hi All-When I click on my FS9 desktop shortcut, the splash screen appears, stays there for 5-15 seconds, as usual, but then FS9 crashes to the desktop. My multi-monitor system then starts flashing randomly, the icons disappearing, though eventually settling back down to the original desktop. This only started after I attempted last night to add some software to allow my Sony digital video recorder to function as a webcam. I suspect this is related. I just recently (6 days ago) updated my internet connection and router from Verizon DSL to Verizon FIOS. Can anyone advise if/how I can tune the nav aids so I can fly an NDB/DME or LLZ/DME only approach?. When I select the ILS freq to get the DME I also get the Glideslope. I should add that is in respect of the PMDG B747-400 on FS2004. It must be possible but how?Thanks

(Sorry I made a typo in the title and cannot edit it arrgh...)Hi,Just reinstalled my TrackIR that I have been using earlier and somehow I cannot get the Pause key set up the way I remember it was.I wanted to use the TrackIR pause feature mapped to a Joystick button so that when for example I want to program the FMC I just close in on it with the TrackIR and pause so that I am close enough and the view is fixed on the FMC. This is how I remember having been used it.However now whenever I pause Trackir the view snaps back to the original VC view which is different to where I was pointing with the TrackIR. Can someone tell me what could be making my FS menus and view changing very slow? When I hit the alt key to open the menu at the top of the screen it goes black for about 5 seconds before the menu bar appears. Once an item is selected it can take up to 10+ seconds to return to the cockpit view! When hitting the S key to chance views it can take 5-10 seconds for it to chance the view. Same thing with alt+Tabs to minimise FS so I can get to the desktop.I have a pretty ok powered computer and get usually 50+ FPS so I can't see that being the problem. Needless to say this is annoying me big time and reducing my enjoyment of simming.Any help much appreciated.Andy S

HelloLast night I was mid-flt from EHAM-DAAG during the course of the flt I had to alter my selected landing runway in my FSNav plan ,will FSNAV automatically switch to the new runway or do you have recreate the plan again (autoroute) .Do you have to re-export the plan into FS9 and then select it again? I think i tried all these things ,but FSnav would not descend my plane at BOD. In the end i just descended myself ,'used the move aircraft here' option to put me on course to the new runway I had selected used the usual ILS method to land (actually I had to do a very steep and fast manual landing as my approach was far to high) Anyway I landed without crashing and taxied …

Hello,Ok since I know now how to use autopilot properly and to fly to my destination but the only problem is that I get the ILS frequency all in the radio stack an the NAV1 button on after that when I decend and maintain 2,200 ft as asked by ATC I switch the Approach button but the approach does not do anything. I put the runway heading in the Course section and turn on the Backcourse with it but it still don't work. I also have it on NAV instead of GPS anybody know why this does not respond and I keep flying over the runway I supposed to land and the airport. Anybody know what might have gone wrong or I didn't do? I would like a long explanaition on an ILS pilot please.T…

Merry Christmas to ALL I just went to load up MD-11 and it advised me I have FS9.0 and I must have FS9.1 or later. Went to microsoft website - they only indicate things for FSX (not to mention they advise call us, WITH NO TELEPHONE #). HiI have the Fictional Aryus BJ-IIIIts essentially the BD-700, it looks like alex was going to make it, and gave up and did what was left to his imagination. the description and parts of the FDE are true to the BD-700., the only differences in appearance is the nose section, and the tail cone.However, as im not a big fan of flying fictional jets, are there any good BD-700's for FS2004? i know a really good one was made for FSX and was possibly going to be bumped down to FS2004, not sure how that went thoughLiam
