I flew into Denver the other day (real world) and realized that my AI at Denver was way out of date. So recently I went about updating it, I hadn't realized how much Southwest had taken over the C concourse and my World of AI install wasn't representing the Southwest traffic there so I installed AIG flightplans with MRAI. I also noticed that Great Lakes had a big presence at the end of A concourse so I updated that with flight plans from Brian Wheatley, and installed new repaints for that. Just letting you know, im doing around the world in VATSIM starting tommorrow. Going to be flying the newish QW757, in the old Britannia Airways livery, and ive added a winglets on it to get maximum range, of round about 4100nm. Look out for me on Vroute, my callsign is going to be TOMBY757 My route is: EGCN-EGNE <<<My local airport going to peform a low flyby (Alpha Max) Then to EGLL2. EGLL-KLGA 3. KLGA -KLAX 4. I have decided to treat myself to an improved Display for FS2004 and am considering either Cheap projector say £350 or a cheapish 40 inch TV either as a singular display or as a primary with say Nav or engine controls on the old 19 inch LCD monitor.II presume if the Primary display was on the Television i couldnt split nav or engines to the Old LCD monitor could I?? I have a smallish study sit at thedesk so 40 ich Tv or the display would only be 18" to 2 feet awayfactors i need advice on are ; resolution issues ???? I am new to the whole scenery loading so here is my question. I have MegaScenery Southern Cal v2, Ultimate Terrian (All USA) and Ground enviroment roffessional. Nw GE Pro I beleive just deals with replacing the default ground Textures (I Think). So here is my Idea. Go ahead and install GE Pro, Then the other two. Now as long as MegaScenery is prioritized higher than Ultimate Terrian I should be ok shouldn't I. Thanks for any help.

Hello,1)I did my first ILS landing yesterday and it worked perfectly fine and the aircraft altitude and headings were working perfectly. However when I use my autopilot and set my altitude, headings, speed etc. It all worked for the first time but not the altitude. The altitude I put as 3000ft at first and it worked perfectly. But after a while when the ATC asks me to decend or climb to a perticular altitude the altitude stays the same and don't respond. I do put the new altitude on the altitude key in the autopilot section. I tried reseting the autopilot but all it did was stall then crash. Anyone know why is this happening? Also my speed is usually 250 knots.2)Meanwhile…

Any way to get rid of this?and I think there was a discussion about this on another thread, if so, can you direct me to it.Also, how do you make the distant horizon nice and smooth? And not the straight lines where the ocean meets the sky etc...I want the ocean/land to "blend" into the sky so it's mroe smooth looking.

My FS9 aquired a problem where the throttle, no matter what i do, stays at 55%.This means i can do nothing but take off, landing or taxiing is impossible.I thought i would just uninstall and re install my FS9 but i wasnt allowed.I have windows vista and every time i told FS9 to uninstalll i was alerted that i couldnt until 'KPHL FS9' was removed.I did this, and then it went back to the regular screeen, doing nothing to FS9. I now cannot manually delete the KPHL and have no idea what to do.Any help on front (throttle or uninstall) would be GREATLY appreciated.Thanks and sorry for the long message!

Got the Eaglesoft Citation 2.0. Out flying around on a test cruise and decided I wanted to check out the ILS Cap. All I needed was the ILS Freq. to runway 09 at San Diego (Ksan). Put it on pause and gave up a half hour later. Could have had that up and programed in 10 sec. on the garmin. They may be great for big cross country flight plans but the heck with it. There , now I feel better :(

Hey guy, I recently decided to switch back to FS9 and in doing soo, after a clean installation i came to this problem. See attached picture. Hardware: Asus MOBO, AMD Quad core clocked at 3.6 ghz, 4 gig of hyper X memory, and Nvidia GTX260 graphics card. I have no problems for FPS but i dont understand why my textures look like this ( Sky texture and Light texture. I have REX installed and prior to REX install Same problem appeared. Please help solve this problem.Stay fly

Just a word to the FS9 gang that a major update to the freeware TinMouse II B737-200 was just released to the AVSIM library...and now it's sporting a full SP177 autopilot and authrottles. Ok, so here is the scenario: A couple of days ago I decided to make a flight out of KPHL( Philadelphia Intl) to KDCA ( Reagan National ). I wanted to fly the US Airways Express Dash-8. I got the aircraft, the sceneries, etc. Then I went to Philly to see how everything looked. I went there, saw just me and 2 more planes, every other gate was free. I double checked that I had AFCAD, and I did (It actually came with the scenery package). So I thought I needed some more AI, and I proceeded to WOAI to get some for that airport. What do I have to do to get my airplane in FS to burn fuel?I've tried going into settings and clicking on the relevant realism buttons, but as I fly the fuel guages remain on full, and burn no fuel at all.2. Have the Aeroworx B200 and Have been reading everthing about it. In everything I read including the tutorial flight by a Real B200 pilot the condition levers are always set to the Low Idle position. When would you set them to high idle? Not sure why there is even a setting for them. Also on another note, does anyone know how you can move both propeller levers in the aeroworx at the same time. Really silly to have to move one then the other. Thanks.

I recently installed scenery at KDCA and added a 3rd party AFCAD file. The scenery is by Shehryar Ansari.I was in a default 737 flying IFR from Raleigh-Durham. As I neared the airport, my IFR clearance was abruptly cancelled. Later, I restarted FS9 completely, started a flight at KDCA and couldn't get ATC to even put the the "Contact Clearance Delivery" line. I manually tuned Clearance Delivery on the radio, and still was not able to load my flight plan.It may be unrelated, but on the first incoming flight I was not offered the "Turn on progressive taxi" option. On the new flight, the option was there but progressive taxi did not show up when it was selected.Any idea…

Hi guys,When flying over Western Germany (near EDNL), I'm constantly getting a crash to desktop with no error message.I tried with default aircraft etc and it's still happening. I tried a flight from EDNL, but the sim crashed as the flight was being loaded.Any idea what I can do to stop this?Cheers,Ben

After loading Shez' KLGB2010, I noticed that the headings in the sim and in the aircraft were off by 18*. For example, setting up at KLGB on RWY 21, the correct mag hdg is 121*, but the sim showed 139* as well as the nav display on the aircraft. This occured at other airports as well. Removing the scenery corrects the problem.I contacted Shez about the problem and he tested it out and has no such issue on his system. He mentioned that this may have been a subject here at AVSIM and that I should post here to see if anyone had the same problem and was able to find a correction for it.So does anyone remember a discussion about this problem and if there was a solution?Thanks,…

Need Help Please! I'm currently working on a project for a pilot friend of mine. He would like to see his plane in the sim. I was about 90% complete with the project when I installed it on his computer and he pointed out the fact that I had used the wrong model bonanza. I had used Mike Stone's excellant v-tail bonanza but I didn't notice that it was a six passenger model with the third elongated window on each side.
