The recent fs9 Canberra payware models from FLYING STATIONS are in my opinion the best models of that great plane ever made. I have done nothing else but fly those since I got them some days ago. They include some rare marks never seen before, the textures are finely made and the colours to the correct shade, and they feature some wonderful animations—platforms and props appear when you shut engines, you can launch the Rushton targets, many things open up, etc. The sound is also great and it can also be used for other Canberras you may have. Long story, but will try to keep it brief.Windows XP, latest updates.About 7 months ago I downloaded a 3rd party panel (b744pv1.zip)that I liked and installed itin some of my Opensky 747's and other 4 engine acft.Then about 3 weeks ago, I went to start a flight and got a CTD as soon as I selected the acft.I have tried others with same results. This has only effected opensky and other 4 engine acft that I havedownloaded. I'm still dying to find a landable/dockable ai Akron / Macon. I emailed the author of the original CFS2 a/c Doug, "karbon",...but got a mail daemon failure notice on his address in the CFS2 zip.I also HIGHLY, recommend, googling Akron, and/or Macon & checking out the old films of these a/c, especially the one in which a sparrowhawk has a malfunction of the "hook", & a guy climbs down the boom to manually release the plane, all INflight.

I caught an episode on the military channel about a week ago about U.S.N. airships, & fell in love with the "flying aircraft carriers", so I promptly went looking everywhere for them for fs9,....alas, the only one I could find, is what appears to be a great model of the two, WITH, hard trapeze for landing/docking with them, "inflight" by Doug Westfall, call sign karbon, but,..it's for cfs2 only, I've emailed karbon about his possibly doing a convert for fs9.Am I the only one with this desire? I doubt it. Would anyone else care to take a stab at converting karbon's great model for fs9???

Hi guys, I just stumbled upon a very neat scenery of Kerkyra Airport in Greece. The point only to an website wher I have to be a member that i can download it. But I don´t want to create a new account only for one download. Does soemone have this scenery downloaded and is willing to share with me or found another download location?

I am looking to get a new mesh, mainly for Europe as it always seems so flat. I did try VFR UK terrain but that is many years old now so hoping something new will be better and cover more than the UK.Have found FS global 2010 which covers the world and also France VFR offer two products NextGen Europe and Next Gen France. Overall the packages come out at about the same price but does anyone have experience of either or know which one would be best. They do seem on the expensive side but have not found any freeware that really offers the same amount of detail or they come with too many download.Any advice gratefully received...

Hello everyone, I recently bought FS Kneeboard and it is a really cool program with all the charts I have been looking for, for a while. My only question and this may be a dumb one seeing as how I've been simming for over 10 years is how do I figure out which approach plate is for which runway...for example for KSNA there is an approach called the KAYOH FOUR arrival but how do I know which runway it corresponds to? As an aside being from Orange County I know that it is probably Rwy 19R, but how do you find that information out for other airports? Thanks!

Hello AllI'm just wondering what determines the point at which 3D scenery objects 'pop' into view ? The reason for asking is that I have some add on scenery where I notice no sudden appearance and others where the scenery objects seem to suddenly appear from nowhere. This is especially annoying when approaching some airports where they don't appear until very short finals, whilst others are in full view all the way through the approach.It would be nice if this was an adjustable fs9.cfg parameter, although I have my doubts about this.Any help or thoughts much appreciated.RegardsGary

Hey,When starting up FS9 it allways starts with the default Cessna.Recently I've installed a nice POSKY 777 United Airlines and all I get is the aircraft without textures ;(All other default 737,Cessna,Learjet works perfect.What could cause this problem ?(See attachment )Greetings

Anybody here know how to CREATE a new entry in registry editor ? Somehow my FS9 registry is missing and EditVoicePack can't find it anymore. I tried the Flight1 Registry Repair tool and although it says it has added the entry, it hasn't. I know where in Registry Editor must the entry go into but I simply don't know how to create one. I am trying to use multiplayer. I have fshost and when I pick a server it says to ensure that certain ports are added. What is that all about? And how do I add these ports. I noticed that the ip address is the same for all games within a server but the ports are different. Does that mean that you have to add the ports that are required for each game and when finished with that game remove those ports? I would appreciate some help with this. I am using windows 7 and fs2004Ralph33

G'day all, I've just begun using the Simmers Sky Boeing B777-200LR. I've had the aircraft on my system for some time but never really flew her properly. One thing I have noticed compared to the B77W is the difference in engine power. Now, both aircraft are fitted with GE90s but the B77W is a GE90-115BL1 (115,540 lbs of thrust) and the B77L is a GE90-110B1L (110,760 lbs of thrust). When I was executing my approach I noticed to keep the B77L at landing speed I required almost 70% N1, with the B77W it would be more around 40%. Not to mention it almost took the full length on Dubai's RWY 30L to stop her with A.B 2. So, there's also an issue with the Reverse Thrust side of…

hello, I have a problem , when I fly my team fs KBT F/A-18, when I use the carrier operations package it comes with, (the switch that says ARM ACT) the flight simulator freezes and A popup comes up saying sound files not found. I do have gaugesound.dll and I installed everything correctly. HELP!

Hi guys, after a long time of non usage, I tried to fly with the CS 757 again. I parked it for a long time because of some gauge problems (E/WR display was empty). This problem was fixed today though a reinstall WITH admin rights. So far I´m happy. But now a new problem has shown it´s face: I have no IRS gauge anymore. On the 2D overhead ther is just this black box where the IRS should be (See the pic) and in 3D the knobs don´t do anything. This also means that my primary flight displays are also empty due to the IRS faillure. Hopefully someone can help me fixing that. Btw. I know that there is a service pack out ther but I can´t find it.

Ok, after flying msfs since the first issue on a Tandy 1000 (Yes I said a tandy 1000) I would like to try Vatsim. I've looked at there site and see that you can use either FSInn or SB. Have never flown online so don't know anything about either. Any suggestions? Also any suggestions regarding Online with Vatsim would be great. I fly out of KSAN. What is the best combo to upgrade terrain scenery. Do we just need to install mesh and then landclass or will megascenery do the whole thing for me. I know they (megascenery and mesh) are 2 different things, Megascenery being ground textures at 5m resolution while mesh changes terrain elevation etc and this can be at different resolutions, so i am at a dilema here. And what is Ultimate terrain? Is it the same as megascenery.What to do? Get both? Get mesh only?Boeingsta.

Hello All, Was using flt sim9 with winxp for years. This year bought a new computer (very beefy, I may add lol) Windows7 64bit . For the most part it runs great. Recently it has been crashing to desk top. Could it be a corrupt 3rd party scenery file and if so, is there software which I can purchase to detect a corrupt file. I am suspecting it could be a BGL file.Thanks for the help!

Hi guys, today I downloaded and installed some new sceneries. One of them is the very good rendition of Stockholm-Arlanda (ESSA) from Swedflight. I know they´re gone due to their age but the scenery is top notch. Esspecially the buildings are very good. But I came across a big problem. After the installation, the scenery looks like that:Everywhere arround the airport there is this large tarmac rectangle and I don´t know how to fix this issue. I don´t want to loose this scenery, it´s a very good repesentation. So does anyone have a clue?

Have been looking for an ATC program other than RC 4 and have not had any luck. Surely with all the developers out there that someone has done one. Is RC4 It?? Would really like to find something that is a complete ATC such as ground, ect. Any Suggestions. ThanksBrad

Hey fellas,Had been hearing tonnes of good reviews for Engine Exhaust Plus v3.2 so finally decided to give it a go.Read through the manual and thought of trying it out on the immaculate 747 standing in the hangar. Copied all the necessary files and added the entries into the panel and aircraft cfgs but I still can't get it to show up at the right position with the right textures (they appear too dark).PMDG, Level D, PSS, etc aren't currently supported by this application so information on how to add this effect to those aircrafts was not mentioned. I still tried taking the information on the same aircraft by a different maker from the manual and adjusted them but to no go…
