Hi all, I had to re-install windows 7 the other day. FS9, with all add-ons (including the reality XP Jetline2 that I used with my PMDG B1900D) worked flawlessly prior to the re-install. I've re-installed FS9, and everything works as before with the exception of the Jetline2 package. I installed it using the installer as before, but for some strange reason, the gauge package isn't working (not even with the default King Air 350). I've tried everything I can think of, including re-installing again, but it still doesn't work. I downloaded and installed the "recommended" John Wayne Arpt yesterday and also included the "update" and the "fix", but when I finished all of this I noticed in one part of the airport AI aircraft were only showing 1/2 of their length. The other half was stuck inside the building. I tried to install evrything correctly but something must have gone wrong. Any ideas what the problem could be? HiI need som help: A few days ago I bought Mexsim MMAA after I read this "PSS Panel Edit"...but I get no answer from support at Mexsim. Does anyone know why they don´t answer? . Pleease help me...I really need that panel edit made by david gutierrez. Maybe someone here at the forum have it and can give it to me?Thanks in advance/Niclas

When I lauched the fs9.exe, the pictures shows and after 3-4 seconds, I get a windows error "Microsoft FS has stopped working".It was working yesterday and the only thing that I changed was a BIOS update...I tried to delete the fs9.cfg, scenery.cfg, copy over the modules dll, etc... no successanyone?ThanksGhiom

For years and years I've read this forum for ideas that I couldn't come up with or had forgotten. This week I think I found my BEST tip. Many, Many thanks to an idea from DAVE MORGAN for his idea. I had forgotten about this procedure. My problem was that I had started flying the Eaglesoft Cessna Citation X version 2 ( version 1 would not fly satisfactory (black screens) on my Windows 64bit computer, but version 2 flys GREAT)..... but in the VC cockpit mode when adjusted to my liking the read out of the "heading" and "altitude" was SO small that it was virtually impossible to read !!!!! I was just wondering if there is any possibility of someone making this scenery.I understand that their is a scenery out there, but it is just something put together.. All they did was throw an aerial picture down and said, "Here's the JWA scenery!"

I just built a new rig based on i7 2600k an a GTX 570.I set up the graphics settings with NVidia Inspector and I am pleased with the AA (Anti Aliasing). However, I am not satisfied with the AF (set at x16 with Clamp/High Quality and Tri-linear in FS9). The textures loop sharpness in the distance and look very blurry. I used mip map setting of 4 in FS9.I have tried letting FS9 control tha AA (with application controlled in Inspector). Hello Guy's,I have recently noticed in my FS9 that in the distance the scenery kind of goes to a worse quality, and where it goes from Good/Alright quality -> to bad quality... there is like a zig zag lineI recently got a new computer which contains a i7 2600K, 8GB of DDR3 1300Mhz and GTX460 OC.I have done all the necessary .cfg tweaks... and it still looks really blurry etc in the distance.. Does anyone know any more values that can be changed to fix this issue.. I have attached an image below to show you the issue, and used the red lines parallel to the zig zags to portray the issue abit more easier visually. So I'm flying EDDF-WSSS but had to leave for a few hours for real-life purposes; I believe I did a task switch over the Caspian sea or thereabouts. When I come back, several hours later, the plane's still over pretty much the same spot. Obviously, I've got "pause on task switch" turned off, therefore *something* must have took the focus over FS9. First time this happens in several years of FS, and first time on my new system (iMac with Windows 7 on Bootcamp, which, by the way, runs FS9 pretty well).What gives? It seems to me that my computer did go to sleep before when FS9 was on, and did not cause it to pause, unless I'm mistaken...

Hi: I have been trying to land the Dash 8 Q-400 and find that on touchdown the brakes seem to be locked and the aircraft seem to just drag to a stop. I have looked for a solution but can't find anything. Otherwise the aircraft is easy to fly. I feel there must be a setting I am missing which locks the brakes or something. Can anyone help me on this.Ralph

The other day I purchased (for FS2004) a "add-on GPS" from Reality. It was the Reality XP GNS 530W XP. I'm getting an "error message" that I have a bad "panels.dll" file. I do have FS2004 update 1 also installed. My installed panels.dll version is: 900.030612.02The message says I need version: 9.1.0.40901.I don't understand as I already have the latest version or update to FS2004 installed?Where can I find the other "required" version? Hello to all simmers! I was wondering if someone can help me to find a handy freeware tool called FS Web Communicator for FS9. The developers site is down for some time now and I was only able to find FSX version on the net.The developer announced FS9 version back in march 2009. Anybody knows was the FS9 version even released? If someone has it, will it be OK to share it?Thanks!

I use FS9 with saitek throttle quadrand two of them. When I asign throttles to two seperate levers engine 2 acts erratic, surging to max power then back then back up again. Usually going from 80% torque up or down. If I progran both throttles to one lever all is well. Anyone know why?The prop controls are assigned 2 levers and work just fine as do the flaps.Any assistance would be appreciated.Thomaslaowai45 (at) yahoo.com

Hi:I fly the EMB135 from FeelThere and use the Saitek Throttle Quad. OK on programming the throttle and flaps (far left and far right axis). But I would like to program the middle axis as gear up/down ... simply, when full down, gear is down, full up, gear goes up, in the middle, nothing ... just like the gear lever in a cockpit.I've tried for several hours now using both the Saitek SST and the FS9 setup.Has anyone tried this? Has anyone succeeded?I would love to know how you did it.Thanks,meastrogn

I notice that the ILS frequency for Brize Norton is incorrect as it shows up as 108.55 on FS9 but should be 111.9. Is there any way to correct it please ?

Hello flight simmers. I hope this is the correct forum regarding my problem with dissapearing AI traffic. I have FS2004. I have been using it since it came out in the market. I also own Ultimate Traffic, and like many of you, as its flight schedules become outdated, I like to add recent flightplans and delete the carriers that are no longer in service which were loaded in Ultimate Traffic. however, in doing so, I noticed that some AI aircraft started to "dissapear". For example, I disabled the old Delta Air Lines flightplans from UT, and loaded the most recent AI flightplans. As a former Delta employee, I love seeing Delta flying around in my FlightSim and love to keep it…

Here is my problem. I have FlyTampa KSAN. The problem is for some reason RC ATC is always setting rwy 09 as the TO and landing rwy no matter what the weather, even with fs2004 fair weather set with no wind.. (It's almost always rwy 27 in SAN) Now if I go into afcad and tell it rwy 27 has a Glidepath (which it dosen't) it will use rwy 27 as the main rwy. How can I tell it that RWY 27 is the main rwy without having to add a phoney glidepath to 27. Thanks for any helpBrad

HelloI am just using the iFly 737-800, and when i try to switch on the generator bus it does not come, so i cannot fly, because if i knock my apu off, then none of my instruments will work. i have included a picture of me trying to turn on the bus and you can see nothing has happened

I just completed a flight in my Citation X to PHNL, although it wasn't my best arrival. ATC cleared me to a Visual RW 22L approach, in marginal visibility with some fog and clouds. They got me down to 2000 and on base for RW 22, but I just missed the tops of the mountains. Once over them I spotted the airport off to the left in the distance, but I was still too high at 2000 to get down in time for 22 left. Any suggestions on how to make this approach and landing correctly? I tried it a few times slowing to approach speed (124) and still not a good landing. regards, Tom
