Hi folks, some days ago I started to discover the 727 as the probably most beautifuy plane ever. I used the HJG version at first and then the Dreamfleet one. Last flight I discovered a difference in reverse thrust: In the HJG model the reverse thrust looks the same as on the 727-200 with parts of the engine covering folding right into the exhaust. BUT the dreamfleet one doesn´t do anything like that. I only hear that the reverse thrust has been appiled and it is also shown on the panel. Whis one is right? Btw. it was on an 727-100.

Hello community,I've encountered, should I say a minor problem with my POSKY 777-300ER. I merged it with the PSS 777 panel, transfered all the gauges from the PSS to the VC, and they work fine. The only problem I seem to be having, is that when I go to the virtual cockpit view, the default one shows the VC behind both pilot seats. Somewhere around the main door of the aircraft. It takes some adjustments to go to the place I want it, and I have the habit to press SPACE so I can get the normal view of the VC, however after I've made these adjustments, if I press SPACE it goes next to the door again, and it's pretty annoying.The VC viewpoint on the 777-200ER for instance is …

HiAs some of you may know, alphasim made the C17, the latest they relewased is V1.05 which alot of us who purchased this addon will have.After Alphasim packed their bags, they said that us C17 customers will receive an update, which would include the VC from Virtavia.Now...Virtavia have released the C17, I have searched for an update, and i havnt had any luck, i have contacted Virtavia about this, ad i have had no reply in the last 48 hours.My question to you guys is, have you heared anything about the update? or have information about it.If we prove our purchase to Virtavia, do we get a free copy of their model? or a link to the possible update?For one i wont be happy be…

Hey guys,Would you say i've lost the plot? Well, i spent ages and ages saving hard to get a powerfull system to run FSX(specs in sig) and it does so very nicely but i dont feel fullfiled and have this burning desire to sit here all day and reinstall FS9.75. With all the freeware stuff and payware, i feel its a waste not having it installed and with no perf issues im very very tempted to get it back on the HDD, max it out and fly what and where i like. What do you think guys?

I came across a software package yesterday and searched the forums to see if it had been discussed. Strangely I could find no reference to Plan-G anywhere on AvSim. :Shocked:Anyway, for those of you who fly VFR you might be interested in Plan-G by TA Software. It looks like a brilliant piece of work and the author is not making a direct charge for it. However, you are encouraged to make a donation if you find it useful. It's designed to work with both FS9 and FSX and can be run via WideFS across a network.It also has a IFR planner but I haven't explored that side much. There is a support forum too.

Hello. I have been having problems with the pilot not saying the airline call sign that I have chosen while communicating to ATC during a flight. I know that there is a program that has all of the airline callsigns that can fix this, but I forgot what it was called? Can somebody give the name of this program to me please if possible? Thanks.

I'm trying to get through the lesson 2: decent and energy management,Whenever I land at the end, no matter how light I'm touching down, it still say I have crashed my plane.Seems like the reason is that I have the wrong altimeter setting, but I don't know what to set it to.Try getting the ATIS for Seattle, but I got no response.I just try to set the altimeter to some crazy value and pass it once, but can't repeat it anymore.So anyone know what is the exact setting for the altimeter?Or how to get the plane to land without triggering the crashing alarm.Thanks,

Hi, since some days I fly arround with the 727-100 early variatns from HJG. Really lovely old iron. But today I stumbeled upon the fact, that an APU isn´t accessable via the panel. I read that the 727 was one of the first plane fitted with such an APU. So didn´t I read right or is this missing?

Just downloaded PA 319 and 321.Using Eric Marciano's panel, I cannot get the engine rpm to go above 90%.Calibrated throttle with Fsuipc (reg) and changed autopilot cfg to max 100%.No increase.Same results with Ken Mitchel's panel.RegardsMike

Hey guys,I noticed at the airport of fly tampa's KSFO with the parallel runways 28L/28R in use, the ai traffic does not hold short of 28L after they have landed. They land on 28R and then stop, contact ground, and then they continue to their gate without holding short of 28L when there is a large volume of traffic taking off from 28L. I LOVE THIS! I wish I could implement this at every other airport with parallel runways but I have not been able to figure out how this is done. Every other airport the traffic backs up and they just dissapear because they have to sit and wait for so long. Hi guys. I'm running FS Real Time program v1.90 (latest) and everything seems to okay with the other Time Zones in other areas but there is a fault in Venezuela. I have been using this program for some time and decided to do some trips there.I don't know why that country has to go back 30mins. It's ridiculous!? Anyway, anyone know how to fix this with any clues? Tried contacting the FS Real Time but no response and no updates. Well, yes, they are updating but not with reference to Time Zones. Also, does anyone know any other program like this with the same capabilites and with accurate time zones. Thanks.

Hi thereThis is a fraustration I have been experiencing from a while, while flying the PSS B757 and for my surprise I started experiencing this same error with the Flight1 ATR.Everything runs smoothly and sometimes the mousse pointer turns like a stick and the crash happens. Sometimes a black screen and the computer restartes or it freezes and the black screen takes over. I am currently using fs9 on a computer with a core 2 duo processor (2.8GHz - E7400). My frame rates are good except when I fly into heavy clouds. They can go from 60 right down to 10.My question is: Will I see an improvement if I upgrade to a Core i5-2500K processor (obviously a new mobo and ram as well) ? AS I understand, FS9 doesn't use all the benefits of a multi-coreprocessor. So, do I upgrade or not ???????????Trevor

Hi guys, after some awaiting I finally could install the Dreamfleet 727 yesterday. But for some reason the configuration editor refuses to work. I get an "Runntime Error 429: ActiveX can´t create object". I´ve searched a bit and found some fixes from Flight 1 but none of them works. They say that I should add an dll to the system32 and register it but when I try to register I get an error telling me that this dll is possibly not compatible with windows and I should check whether it is. Now I´m pritty desperade, can someone help me out?

I have a small problem with panels. I have downloaded Dash 8 q202 and the guages are very small and very difficult to read. Is there a way to enlarge the panel guages. Possibly by changing the settings in the panel cfg file. If so, how is it done.Ralph

I think I'm slowly going crazy. I set up a flight with the PMDG 737-800, everything is working as it should, I perform a pushback, start the engines, get permission to taxi, I release the parking brake,I slowly push the throttles forward and ....nothing : the plane won't budge. I can steer it but it's just not moving forward. I restart FS2004 and do the same thing with the same result : the plane is stuck. I slew it somewhere else but still nothing.Anyone any idea what to try next ?thanksMartin

Jonathan Gabbert has not updated in 4 month as of today which is not a good sign,I have tried contacting him on Facebook as well with no response So sad this was a very nice project. When doing ILS approaches (that otherwise start fine, with "autoland" on and showing) on add-ons such as the PSS A320 and 777 or the Level-D 767, I often get GPWS callouts (e.g., "too low terrain") as though the plane doesn't understand that I'm in approach mode. Even worse and incredibly annoying (but likely not related to the GPWS situation), when the plane gets right above the runway, it often starts veering off course, or steeply climbing back up for no reason. Was wondering if anyone else has had problems with AiSmooth 1.2. I've run ver 1.1 with no problems at all and recently saw there was an update. Installed it and in 4 out of 6 flights fs2004 froze up in different phases of the flight. Uninstalled it and went back with 1.1 and no problems. Any Ideas? Is there a major difference between 1.1 and 1.2? ThanksBrad
