Hey everyone, ever since I saw mention of the almost finished 737NG by IFly, I was wondering if there is an official website that is in english. I saw AIChina, but don't understand a thing on there. The pics are amazing and I'm very much looking forward to this release. This made me wonder because when the 737 is ready, where would one purchase it if there is no english option for some of us that is our native language? Thank for any insight. I've never dealt with the IFly Devs before.

Just bought REX for FS2004. i was testing it out at LEPA Palma and for some reason lots of terrain has appeared out of know where about 6nm north east of the airport???? Any suggestions its quite annoying as i fly to LEPA a lot.

Hi all,I'm having a great time with FSX, it's running smooth and clean and it's definitely my sim of choice now that I have a new system. However, there are still some gems from FS9 that I miss, including some of the Sandim freeware aircraft, as well as a lot of payware that I have purchased over the years. I want to reinstall FS9 at this time, and use both sims, but I have to have vehicle traffic, it adds a layer of depth to the sim that really helps bring it closer to reality. I owned a couple of addons for FS9 that had vehicle traffic, but they were airports and the traffic only appeared around the airport.So I was wondering, how can I install road traffic to FS9?Th…

Having been in a foul mood all day I thought that buying myself a present might cheer me up, so hopped over to Simarket. I found two recent sceneries that quite literally shocked me they were so appalling - in fact I had to recheck the FS version because they looked like something from 2002!So after the various "Best Freeware" and "Best Payware" posts here over the years, how about a "Worst Payware" category? Would Avsim allow it? Would it be disrespectful to hard-working developers? Or would it be totally cool?

Just for everyone to know, there was a topic dont a while back for the Wilco CLS Problem with deploying with speed brake (Spoilers would only deply 5% instead of allowed 49%), the solution was created but It had to be properly coded and noone here really knew how to do it, therefore I have coded the file which will be addressing that problem, and properly deplying the speed brake. It was already tested on all of Wilco/Cls merge aircraft.File will be uploaded soon.

So i managed to merge the POSKY-PMDG 747-400 with good results, but there is just one thing that bothers me. At night, when you turn on the DOME light, there is a light cast on the front fuselage of the plane (see image). This has nothing to do with the [light] section (i deleted the whole section but this problem remained).Any ideas how to get rid of it? Is it a PMDG problem? And dont repsond by saying things like "you can't merge the POSKY-PMDG" and "why did you merge the aircraft, the PMDG model is fine" etc.Thanks,Boeingsta.

im gettin troube with fscrew atr edition..... my atr #2 engine dosent shoe that the prop is spining but the instrument indicates that its running.... in spot view it is not spiningwhats is the problem ,, can someone help me ...... when i fly it it flies normal but it looks like im flyin with one engine!!!!

I've been looking for the 1.4 update for the iFDG Airbus. Everywhere I've been searching redirects me to this file here at the Library: ifdg_a32x14.zip. However, there is no such file here (maybe another one lost forever due to the hack?). Does anybody know where can I find this file?Best regards from ColombiaLuis Miguel

A couple of weeks ago, my P4 from the 1900s died. It was a slow death, and I managed to get most of my critical files moved off to another machine. I went shopping, and came up with a new machine which is finally really capable of running FS9 smoothly. I spent all of yesterday hooking up the new system, loading a separately-purchased copy of XP so I could still use my Gameport yoke and pedals, and installing software.When it came time to actually fly, I found I could no longer download real-world weather. After doing a complete re-install of FS9 recently and slowly getting back on track of installing my various add-ons, because I live in England I want to download some free scenery objects from the AVSIM library. Now, before I did my re-install I used to have VFR Photographic scenery installed and there use to be many add-ons for that, namely agn files that I could put in the various folders for each part of the UK. A lot of these add-ons were from a great website which no longer exists called VFR Add-ons. Hey there!I was wondering what the best freeware GE sounds for the 777 were. And was "the real deal" made by Christoffer Petersen or Devyn Silverstein? And is "the real deal v2" better than the original, cause this one was made byChristoffer Petersen, did Devyn Silverstein make v1? Which one is the best. Good morning all, Are there any free utilities (I'm aware of AES) that allows you to add static support vehicles such as fuel trucks, baggage carts,etc around user aircraft? Preferably, I'd like to be able to activate and de-activate these objects with a hotkey. I've searched the libraries, maybe I missed something. Thanks for any help.J.C. (MYNN)

Can some really knowledgable person explain why pausing FS9 would cause a system freeze? I have been dealing with this problem for over a year, now...and I'm about to go insane. I believe it is more about my system rather than FS9 itself.Whenever I use the "Pause" function in FS9, I stand a chance of a complete system lockup. I just started a descent into KSFO, paused to go take care of business for 2 MINUTES. Came back and my system was locked up tight. I've used "FSPause" with the same result...SOMETIMES. There is no Rhyme or Reason...sometimes I can pause and others I get locked up, at some point. It NEVER happens when I push the "P" key...it's always at some point aft…

Been having some trouble with FS2004 lately, nothing major but some problems with scenery not showing up in AES and some other minor things. Have read many post and have been told by people that some problem may be caused by haveing it installed in C:\Program Files (x86)\Microsoft Games\Flight Simulator 9. (Win7 64) and that I should in stall directly to the C:\ drive. Anyone had any issues with this? Don't really mind the work, acutally would be a good way to cleanout a bunch of stuff I don't use anymore but just wondering if it's worth it. Thanks.Brad

Hi their im just about to buy REX as it seems brilliant for fs2004, and i do a lot of flying on VATSIM so it seems really good. How ever whats the frames like on it for FS9? Ive got a AMD X3 dual 3.4 ghz processor (overclocked), a radeon 5670 GDDR5 graphics card 2 gig, and 4gig of DDR4 memory. Whats your verdict?

First off, I mistakenly posted this in the File Library Forum so this is a duplicate.Im Having some issues as of Late with my Flight Zone Rhode Island And Portland Sceneries.My issue has been that If im flying INTO or Ontop of Rhode Island or PDX my system Crashes CTD. I get no error Message just a crash. If I depart from PVD or PDX I get No Crashes. I even tried a test where I took off in the iFLY from Quonset State OQU which is a mere few miles from PVD and It crashed once. The second test was the same flight just with the AF F/A-18. No crash then. I strictly Fly the iFLY and hardly anything else. I've got REX 2.0 and im also having an issue with the Water Color in PVD…

I have updated the Santiago, Chile airport (SCEL) with a newer version that include the new parallel runway. The new scenery and afcad are recognized properly by FS2004. but I updated the database of FlightSim Commander and It still displays the old default AFCAD.I opened Lee Swordy AFCAD program, and when I search by the ICAO name (SCEL) it only finds the default scenery. When If I go go the option Open airport from a specific location, it will find the MOD Afcad and it will open it correctly. So does somebody knows what is happening.I have placed the afcad both with the SCEL scenery files and at the K:/FS9/Addon Scenery/Scenery location and it does not show up automatic…

I hope somebody has had this problem before and can help me resolve it.When I load any aircraft, including the default C172, the 2D panel is not visible with the screen in Full Screen mode. All I get is a wide black band across the lower part of the screen. If I press W for the smaller gauges across the bottom, the scenery view expands to occupy the full screen but no gauges appear. I have Global On and Main Panel selected in theViews/Instrument Panel menu. Also the mouse pointer is black rather than the usual white.When I press the ALT key to get the menus across the top, the 2D panel appears as normal, and the mouse pointer turns white. Can anybody give me a clue why my scenery has blocks as shown in marked area of screenshot. They eventually blend in but will appear elsewhere.

Hi guys, Some time ago I had a little excel sheet on my PC with which I could calculate the x-wind runways very easily. But after I moved to my new system I can´t find it anymore. I tried everything but I can´t find it anywhere. I know it had been in the avsim library, so maybe it has been lost during the hack. Does someone have such a sheet and will share it with me? I need this for my upgrade of the FRF Anchorage AFCAD.

I have the JABBGL utility, but I must not know, ( precisely ), how to use it. How many feet in elevation am I changing, per decimal place? I have two sceneries, that I fly to often. As I land the runways and greenery disappear. I'm able to make successful landings by ignoring this, but it's extremely irritating. How can I adjust ground elevation properly? hello all, is there a way you can get the elavation of the airport youre approaching? i enjoy flying in the fog or weather with low visibility but on more than one occasion flew in way to low cause i did not know the elavation of some cities that were hundreds of feet above sea level. would love to hear from anyone who knows.
