Hi I am seem to be having the following problem. When I load FS2004 as normal, everthing appears to work well, see picture number 1 (The Airport seems level with the ground) when I set off from somewhere and finally come into land in MRU, the airport looks like it has sunk into the ground as displayed in pictures 2 and 3.I did download and place use the new ADE files that was uploaded in AVSIM aswell as placing FIMP_ADE9_XX_ALT.BGL in the scenery world folder, but still get the above problem. I did send an email to Max, who by the way has been very supportive, but we cannot seem to find any ideas whats causing it. Would really be open to any help anybody would be kind to…

I just moved from Minneapolis Mn to Hudson Fl. The move required me to change my email address to a new local provider. Is there anything I need to change in the AVSIM Site to reflect the change in email? Tom

Last night, I climbed into my default Beech Baron for a short flight before bedtime. When I brought up the GPS display, the text items not on the map itself were all blank - things like ground speed, heading, etc. This was working a day or so ago. I tried shutting down and restarting, and I tried a different aircraft with the same GPS. Same problem. The map portion seems fine, and flight plans are plotted, but those text items are missing. Since it was last working, I added a few AI planes (all Scandanavian) and the Swedflight scenery package with 3 major airports. But, I haven't touched the other aircraft folders. More out of laziness/convenience/call-it-what-you-will I have created a an ILS for a couple of my favourite freeware destinations: I have them showing in FSCommander and would like to know if I can add that relevant data to aircraft FMCs.I have mailed the author Martin Gleeson but got bounced back. I lost the altered fs9.exe file that starts the prog w/o the cd. It was referred to in Tips and Tricks #2 by David Marshall, but the website linked to is no longer being maintained, http://www.scenery.org run by Tom Gregor Sr. Where can I find the file - there are two versions - one for FS9 and one for FS9.1(updated ver) I need the updated version.

Does FS9 indeed perform better on Win 7 or should one run it on Win XP for which it was designed ? Trevor

1st time it happens since I have had my new system.Checked duplicate AFCADs and duplicate textures...Very surprised.I thought there would be no more OOM on a 64bits OS?Can someone advise?ThanksGhiom

For some strange reason some of my airports have strange black horizontal bars across the runways. As I change my view these bars seem to ride up and down as I scan. Has anyone seen this before and is there a fix? Thanks!Airbus

Hello to all Flt simmers. From time to time I like reading the forum questions and answers they are helpful as you seem to have alot knowledge and or experience. My question is when flying at night the city lights are pretty dim in FS9. Is there a way of making it brighter? As it has low lighting effects. I think it would look more realistic when you are approaching from a distance to see the city all lit up in a brighter appearance. I look forward from hearing from all of you flight simmers. Having had to re-install Windows and having to reluctantly move to Windows 7, I cannot believe the hassle I had to go through to get FS9.1 up and running. Latest problem is that most of my scenery addons dont work or have been de-activated like FS Dream. Is this normal? Wish I had stayed with XP ! Best Wishes,Chris

I've always found that even large or heavy aircraft like LD-767 or PMDG-747 move like a Cessna while taxiing or during takeoff roll. I'm referring to excessive rudder sensibility on the ground. I've tried with FS9 calibrations or via FSUIPC, but the result is still very unreal, you have to be very careful to avoid having the plane swinging from side to side of the runway. My question: will changing (decreasing) rudder efectiveness in the flight controls section of the "aircraft.cfg" file be helpful ? Thanks in advance.

While I do most flying in the US, with all the usual add ons including Genesis & UT series, I am now thinking of UT Europe, but I don't know if this will work or cause problems with UK Photo Scenery etc. Any suggestions would be appreciated.RegardsEchofox

HelloI'm considering getting the scotflight scenery so I can have fun flying in this nice part of the UK. Currently I have UK2000 airfields, use Ultimate Terrain and the mesh that came with the JustFlight/VisualFlight VFR photo scenery (which I no longer use 'cause of 'blurries'). As this mesh doesn't extend to Scotland what options do I have. I was considering the FSGenesis 76.4M for UK but note it is discontiued but can be obtained by getting the European bundle (at a good price). FSGenesis now do the NEXTmap 19M for UK but not sure if my machine would handle it? In fact I'm not sure what the resolution of terrain mesh I'm using at the minute is. What else is availabe, …

I edited the 50N aircraft.cfg to make it easier to taxi, but now the gear collapses at the gate. Any fixes? Or can someone at lease send me the contact points for each variant :) ?

Hi, A problem is occuring since I've been running FS9 with WIN7.The aircraft being used in FS9 has a tendancy to EXPLODE into polygons! The scenery I'm flying through, and the cockpit view are ok,but as soon as I select the external view, the aircraft becomes some crazy abstract image like it has exploded!I use mostly downloaded aircraft, I don't know if that's the cause?Can anyone offer advice please. Hay guys, ive been looking at dreamfleet 727 for a while now and im thinking of buying it, but i do have some questions. 1.Does it work with windows 7 ? 2.Can you couple the auto pilot to the default GPS so it flys the flight plan set in the default planner ? 3.Are there any bugs ? Hi, Ok I downloaded two texture files of Overland A340-300 Sri Lankan Airlines from Flightsim.com for my Overland A340-300 model. However for some dismul reason every other texture works when I add it onto the model but these two won't work. I've checked everything the number, the ui varations etc. What is wrong with it? and Is there any other texture file for this aircraft for this model? Thank You

Hi, Got another problem with my scenery this time.I was keen to improve the scenery of my local airport, howevr I couldn't find any designed for fs9, so I installed one for fs2002.The scenery installed ok and looks great,however,some aircraft are parked halfway inside a building! I have tried installing other afcad2files without success. I am also crashing into invisible building while taxiing around .Once again if anyone can help me please reply. RegardsAerovan.

Hi all,I tried searching this in various forums here, but found no topics that really hit the nail on the head. I've been having a little trouble with a few AFCAD files from three sceneries in my library. First is the Overland RKSI Incheon scenery. Second is Aerosoft's megascenery Amsterdam (EHAM). Third is the Suvarnabhumi scenery (VTBS) by Armi. In these cases, when I try to open the AFCAD file, AFCAD gives me a message saying that it is unable to perform the task and shuts down.
