Hi Everyone,I recently got FS9 since a saw a lot of people were still playing it and there were a lot more downloads for it than FSX. So I kinda want to make that my main FS but before I do there are some things that I didnt like that I would like to know if you can help me solve: 1. There are some planes sometimes where they shouldnt be. For example, in the JFK airport gate when I was with my A380 there was a Cessna parked right next to me at a gate haha. Also another Cessna would be in line with me to take off at a huge JFK runway.Can I get rid of the planes I don't like? Like maybe deleting them from the Airplanes folder? 2. Hi. I've just recently trying to do some Airbus routes as I've been with Boeing for quite a long time.Currently with Wilco Airbus Volume 2, no matter I use Wilco or Wilco merge CLS, I still get memory leak. When at destination airport I usually get about 2GB of memory running Fs9. That's very very huge to me. No matter where and what the airport is.Is this a known-bug or something is wrong with my setup? Is there a way to know what is causing memory leak?I'm using Win7 32bit . Thanks!

I read somewere recently that my traffic 2010 suits fs2004, is there any truth in this as it states fsx on the box etc. Also what is the most up to date traffic that will suit fs9. I have always had issues with WOAI so id rather stay clear. thanks Alan

Anyone know if RealH2O is worth a buy? I'm using Rex now and while the waters are okay, is H2O that much better?

I have Shez Ansari's excellent Palm Springs airport. Unfortuately there is no ATIS for this airport. I contacted Shez and he said the scenery was not developed in AFCAD. Did anyone ever figure out a way to get it to work properly? Thanks!Airbus

I have managed to produce a widescreen panel bitmap for the DF727 which shows the captain's panel plus all the engine gauges as well as flaps and gear lever. However, I don't know how to re-position and re-size the gauges. FS Panel will probably do it but I don't have the program. Is anyone interested, able and willing to position and re-size the gauges if I provide you with the bitmap ????????????? Please PM me if you can help and I will send the bitmap. Help would be greatly appreciated by not only me, but by all the DF727 users with widescreens who still like using the 2d panel. RegardsTrevor

Hey I'm sorry if this is in the wrong thread or what ever it's called. I'm looking for a good scenery package typically for FSX or FS2004 for the north American region for Canada/US. I fly there in those regions all the time. Any suggestions for payware or freeware sceneries that cover that area? I have GEX PRO and I didn't see a huge improvement. But again I just want a scenery package that is quite realistic for the north american region in FS2004 or FSX. Hi, Currently I have UK2000 Heathrow Extreme and i landed at runway 9L and it looked nothing like the approach that you will normaly have when you land at that runway or airport. I like the addon but the surrounding is all default :S On a video on youtube I saw a the petrol station near the heathrow airport and on another video I saw the M25. Where do they get all this and I tried asking them but they never replied. Is there an addon for the motorways and something that can enhance the approach to London Heathrow? Hi, How do I play FS2004 on menu mode and not always on full screen mode? I am asking this because whenever I'm on menu mode the flight runs but I'm not able to see some stuff on the simulator and I can't adjust the autopilot switches but on full screen mode it all works fine. I just want to know is there a way to play FS2004 not on full screen mode on windows 7 Thank You :D P.S I run FS2004 as admin.

I've just downloaded and installed Super Flight Planner Version 4.0.0.690. However when run its Database Builder it starts then seems to hang. It's been processing AT9EURW9.bgl for more than 3 hours, using 100% of CPU time. Anyone else had this problem or knows a solution?

Hi have recently installed the freeware VHHH scenery from the library, i am experiencing a pause/freeze when i take off and climb out. Its always in the same place and lasts around 3-4 seconds. I have flytampa VHHX which has been installed for months and i no this problem never exsisited before because i would fly back and forth between the 2 airports in order to practice visual approaches to Kai tak. Any suggestions as to what could be my problem Thanks Alan

Is there any way to batch convert all aircraft texture files from all aircraft folders from 32bit to dxt3 AND removing mips? i also have lots of mipped dxt3 textures, so i need just to remove mips.i know imagetool batch process, but it requires to put imagetool.exe in the folder and starting it each time in every folder.maybe it is possible with another program so it will enter every folder itself and convert files. if i do it manually it will take a week. thanx

Hi, Need some advise, the Hard drive running my operating system is about to die, chkdisk and defrags no longer work and it takes a number of attempts to boot the machine up. Here is my setup - one drive partitioned E:\,C:\ E:\ WinXP 32bit installed C:\ FS9 with 8 years worth of add-ons and tweaks. The plan is to purchase a brand new drive, install winXP 64 bit and again partition it E:\ & C:\ Install FS9 new onto C:\ hook up my old drive as a slave and copy my entire FS9 folders including everything from E:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9 I still have all my activation keys from my payware. Hi guys, I´ve discovered land up in the north while I tested some tweaks to an AFCAD in Barrow, Alaska. Took off and headed north and after some minutes over the sea I saw this giant thing. It loolks like it´s made of one mountain texture over and over again. Is this a bug or something known?

I really need a new computer to run FS9 as my current laptop really struggles with 3d clouds using active Sky 6.5 on the lowest res using DXT3 textures (~5fps). With simple clouds I get about 18-20fps which is ok.The other addons are a few regional WOAI airlines (UK based), UTE, UK2000 airfields and Scotflight. Occasionally I enable JustFlight VFR. Hi. I've noticed that a lot of freeware scenery has EZ Scenery, Runway 12 or Nova objects mixed intimately with custom objects in the ../Texture and the ../Scenery folders. A small number of scenery creators are good enough to zip library objects into separate folders and leave the decision regarding their installation to the user. Sadly, many fail to separate library from custom. I've found a good utility for identifying and removing duplicate textures, which has liberated several megabytes of disc space. I'm wondering now about the duplicate files to be found in the ../Scenery folders. Ought I to retain those files despite having duplicates already installed in another …
