Now that I look at it i'm sure glad I stayed put with FS9. I'd hate to dish out this kind of money for the NGX http://www.precision...3&idcategory=13 I prefer iFlys price much better.

HiI D/L'ed the IRIS Harrier and the appropriate rcb VTOL gauges (rcbhcd10.zip). The thing is, the rcb readme says that I need the Harrier v2.55 patch. Where is it? I looked on avsim but all I could find were repaints :blink:Also, when I tried to use the rcb gauges with the unpatched Harrier, the hover system does not work. I tried a VTOL takeoff, but the Harrier just would not lift off the ground. I lowered the weight, fuel, everything--the Harrier just did not want to hover or take off vertically. Any tips?

If I select the simple clouds option in fs9, but I am running ASKy ,what effect will this have on the resultant clouds?AndyTRY IT!!! i hear you cry.But I will still ask anyway ,because i am a bolshie cuss.With time on my hands.

I have just purchased a Samsung HDTV 46" in the UK, just wondering if I can connect it to my desktop PC in 1920 High Def in the UK?If I can what connection will I need to connect to my PC? Many thanks,Chris EGBB

Unfortunately i ahve had to switch to Windows 7 and when I have re-installed and copied across the files from m old beloved FS9 FSUIPC doesnt seem to work. Is there a reason for this. I am using version 3 Do I need to buy a new version for windows 7. I am beginning to dislike Windows 7! Bring back Win XP Best Wishes,Chris EGBB

I have tried to get FS9 to run with the Saitek Pro Flight Yoke System. I have installed the Saitek drivers for Windows 7 for the quadrant and the Yoke, but when I fly FS9 the yoke seems to be all over the place. I cant seem to remeber if there was a way of cordinating the yoke in FS9? Any idea's? Many thanks,Chris

Hellorecently there was a post asking simmers to list there favourite freeware airport sceneries. What I would like is something similar but including framerate/performance.My PC is ageing but still flies FS9 in a perfectly acceptable manner (P4 2.8,1GB RAM,GForce 6600GT Gcard.So far I have found only one add-on airport that really is properly usable (nice too) UK 2000s Manchester lite freeware version. I also have two by Framerate friendly studios VIDP Delhi and VOMM Chenai these two are just about OK ,but VIDP is spoilt by an area of construction (new terminal) lots of cranes (also some rather mysterious flashing lights )anytime that particular portion of the airport i…

I am running out of drive space on my primary drive and it is slowing down. I have relocated some scenery to my secondary drive and changed scenery.cfg as needed, but is there a way I can just "cut" the addon scenery folder from FS9 and relocate the entire folder to my secondary drive? Also is there a way to do the same thing to my aircraft folder? I know I can relocate each separate scenery folder in the addon folder to a separate drive, but I thought there was an easier way to do the whole folder at one time. Thanks for any help!Airbus

Hello AllI have been trying various framerate friendly freeware airport add-ons ,two in particular from framerate friendly studio's VOMM (chennai) and VIDP(Mumbai )VOMM is fine ,but with VIDP I have a problem, If I am creating a flightplan in FSNav and select VIDP all that airports gates ,parking spaces etc are shown in FSNav ,but the runways do not show at all(they do in the map) but not in the selection screen.VOMM on the other hand is fine gates,parking spaces etc AND the available runways are shown in the selection box and I can of course pick the one of my choice.I have a feeling this could be an AFCAD thingy problem ,I am wondering if I have inadvertently deleted…

Hi, Whenever I takeoff then try to engage the autopilot for any of my ifly 737 jets the light on the Autopilot switch doesn't turn even if i click on it like millions of time. I tried it on keyboard pressing Z but still not good anybody know how to fix this? Thank You

Hi to all I have bin having a problem with all of my aircraft. It gives me a different heading of 20 degrees on my ND. When flying the same thing and on approach to dont know what happen. If i open FSNavigator to see if the aircraft is flying the right path it is, but not on the ND its not. I already look around to see if any one had the same problem, this is frustrating. I already try seing if it was the magdec.dll the file it is okay i have the latest FSUIPC installed the airac's to i already did a restoration point and still the same i let fs9 create a new fs9.cfg still no luck don't know what else to do. thanks for any help

Hi guys and gals,my 32 bit XP was a bit mangled by a virus so I thought I'd upgrade to a 64 bit OS.I'm running a Q9550 on an ASUS P5Q pro with 4GB of OCZ plat. RAM with a 1GB 9800 Pro.I have a copy of XP64 pro SP1 that I had not installed due to a lack of anti virus supporting that OS.Am I better off installing that sys or spending the money and getting W7 64 pro?this maching is for running FS9 and FSX but is also used for browsing, Call of Duty etc.Will going to 64 bit give me better FS perf, less blurries smoother perf. etc?ThanksStan

Hi All, I have just upgraded to Windows 7, and I am trying to get Nhancer to work with FS9. I have downloaded and installed NET 4.0 from Microsoft as advised When I install Nhancer 2.4.5 the Icon is on the screen but nothing happens I have re-booted the system but still when I click on the Icon nothing happens Any help would be most welcome! After a long break from FS2004, I decided to reinstall the simulator and all of my addons. One of my favorite planes is the Digital Aviation Piper Cheyenne - I installed it, and everything was fine at first. I had no problems and did a couple of flights. Today, after loading the Cheyenne from the default Cessna in "Cold and Dark" mode, I noticed that my annunciator lights in the VC were all on. They were off in the 2D panel, as they should be in "Cold and Dark." However, after turning on the battery, I pushed the annunciator test button, and no lights went on in the 2D panel. The lights in the VC were still on - all of them and continuously (even with the battery off). Al…

Tried to start FS9 after a few months of non use and got the following error message; "FS cannot run from a restricted user account and will now close. Please log on using an administrative account and restart." I don't know what prompted this because I'm listed as the Administrator on my computer and no one else uses it. I'm running FS9 on Windows XP with sp3. If anyone has had this problem or know of a fix please post a reply. Bill

Hi everybodyI'm using FS9.1 (large address aware) with a registered FSUIPC on a E8400 Win7 x64 with 4GB and a GTX460. Lately I've been playing around with manually assigning RC4 and ASE onto the second core for a little more fluidity, but haven't noticed a whole lot of difference. I've got an old laptop gathering dust and thought of trying it out for RC4 and ASE, but seeing as shifting these 2 programs onto a scond core hasn't made much difference, would WideFS help out much?And also, does FSNav work across WideFS?Cheers, SLuggy

I've been meaning to fly Continental's epic long haul flight from Newark to Hong Kong, and as far as I know this flight usually flies within 100 miles of the North Pole. Really the only reason I want to fly this flight on my sim is the fact that it passes so close to the Pole. However, every time I try to have FS-Navigator plan a route from EWR to HKG, instead of plotting a route over the Pole, it plots a route that runs along Canada and Alaska's northern flanks. Why does it do this? Is FS-Nav not able to plot a polar route? If FS-Nav can't plot a polar route, is there a program that can? Thanks for your help, -Chan
