Since Wilco only do GE and RR engines, I wonder if it is possible to merge CLS A332/A333 PW engines with 1 of those 2 type./Ahh anyone knows why Wilco doesn't do the PW?

I have updated the Santiago, Chile airport (SCEL) with a newer version that include the new parallel runway. The new scenery and afcad are recognized properly by FS2004. but I updated the database of FlightSim Commander and It still displays the old default AFCAD.I opened Lee Swordy AFCAD program, and when I search by the ICAO name (SCEL) it only finds the default scenery. When If I go go the option Open airport from a specific location, it will find the MOD Afcad and it will open it correctly. So does somebody knows what is happening.I have placed the afcad both with the SCEL scenery files and at the K:/FS9/Addon Scenery/Scenery location and it does not show up automatic…

Hi guys, I´ve just made my 10th. approach or so into San Diego with the famouse LOC 27. Interesting but it gets a bit boring after time. Do you know other approaches like this? I mean no ILS but an LOC and nice terrain or any LDA approaches like Hong Kong here in northern America?

Hello, I'm having some problems with the Tinmouse 737 using ISG gauges. My panel.cfg has Lee's TCAS, the SP177 autopilot and ISG's Honeywell XLSGNS, EHSI and the EFIS control panel (don't know whether these are the right names hehe, hope you guys get it). The problem is with the HDG selector in the autopilot, everytime I try to set to some heading, say 240, it keeps resetting to some other heading, say 300. I'm under the impresion that the cause of the problem could be a conflict between the SP177 HDG selector and the EFIS control panel one, but I don't know how to solve it. I can't trash the control panel because I need it to set the range and other stuff in the EHSI. I'…

Hi all, downloaded Jans final jetway package for FS9 and have a problem at ZSPD, there are trees on the taxiways leading to runway 35L, has anyone else struck this or have a fix ?? Hello FS users, I recently bought the CLS 767-200/300 aircraft after looking at it for sometime and created some AI flight plans as soon as I downloaded it.The aircraft show up at the airport, taxi for takeoff, line-up and then start take-off procedures, but when it should rotate it stays on the ground and continues throughout.Is there something I did wrong? I use the 747-200/300 by CLS for AI and it works fine?Thanks,Larminator

After a bit of a hiatus from FS9 to work on some AI projects and more recently to work on an airline history site (www.60sairlineantiques.net), I'm coming back and find that myself wanting a really nice DC-9.Here are the possibilities that I know of: 1) The old Iron Knuckles DC-9 with the FS9 patch. It's OK, but some of the systems are not modeled very realistically and the panel isn't the greatest. 2) The FFX/SGA model using the Stellan Hilmerby panel. That panel is good and is a great place to start but could benefit by transplanting some gauges from the Coolsky/Flight1 MD80 and some other mods. Hello,I have a problem with my Flight Simulation 2004 9.1. At almost every addon airport i've installed I'm getting strange texture shimmering effects like you can see in the screenshot. It looks like a sort of double layer in the scenery. It's moving very vast and it's very annoying. I'm sure that I'dont have double addon scenery installed, so that can't be the problem. Hey all,I'm using the POSKY 777-300ER merged with the PSS 777 panel. When I'm cruising, I speed up the gameplay, but it goes wrong. on 4x after 10-15 secs the aircraft starts going up and down, on 8x it happens even faster and ATC is driving me crazy. Any solutions? I speed it up to 8x the most, and it would be really nice if you could give me a solution to my problem. It happens only on this aircraft. I'm sure it's because of the PSS 777 panel but I don't know any solution. Thanks in advanceRegards,Steve

If I recall i posted this issue before. Here I am trying to fly the Virgin 747-400 and once I have set the fuel, airport origin, time, weather and click on 'fly now' and once everything has loaded and I'm in the cockpit, the minute I click for the outside view of the plane, the whole plane bounces a few times while standing still and the nose wheel collapses. I haven't even gotten the chance to throttle up and its stuttering and bouncing up and down on the runway and the nosewheel just sinks down. I reloaded the flight several times only to have it happen again and again. What's the damn problem here because this is so annoying. It happens with just about every 747 I have…

Hello, I had to do some tweaking to get my throttle to work in FS9 but I somehow screwed up my views. When I'm in the 2D panel this is the view I get. In the VC I get this view like it's trying to project the 2D screen over the vc. It flashes like it's a stuck button. If I go to spot view, the view slowly rides up until I'm looking down on the aircraft. I deleted my cfg file and built a new one with no luck. I checks my controllers to see if there were conflicting assignments but I deleted them all. I had this problem many years ago but I can't remember how I fixed it. I'd appreciate any help you guys could lend.

I'm thinking about purchasing a couple of MegaScenery titles for FS2004 and I want an opinion of users. Especially I'm interested whether there are any conflicts between Megascenery, UT USA and custom-made sceneries such as FSDT, FlyTampa or IMS.Thanks for your input guys.Dmitriy

anyone else had this problem? not sure if it is an "AISmooth" problem or not. Many aircraft around the airport will become frozen and suspended in midair. This just started recently. I have been using AI Smooth for years and never had any problems like this. Any ideas?

I usally fly my early morning flight from KSAN to KLAX. During the time of day I land at KLAX there is never any parking spots where SWA parks. Is there a way in AFCAD to make a parking spot unusable to any AI aircraft so I always have a place to park :) Thanks for any helpBrad

I have a plane that has liquid engine cooling. I put cooling_type=1 in the PistonEngine section of the aircraft.cfg. I see that there is a RECIP ENG COOLANT RESERVOIR PERCENT "A" variable available. My question is - what callouts have to be made in the aircraft.cfg to define the reservoir volume as I want to be able to monitor the coolant level percent? Thanks. Bob.

Ihave recently purchased PMDG 737 NG for FS 2004. ok i got a message that my version of FS9 version 0 is not compatable, it needs version FS9 version 1. Searched the web and got into Microsoft and downloaded the upgrade from them to version 1. Now i have a error message " Update Error Type : 34 ".Any help out there

Hello all, Is there any way to solve the issue of AI traffic meeting head to head on the same taxiway (and not moving until one or the other times out)? It seems to happen at certain airports where one aircraft leaves the gate, another lands and clears the runway and both are instructed to use the same taxiway by ground control. I'm sure I can play around with the afcad for the airports in question, but is there another easier solution? Maybe someone has created a utility to fix this. Thanks.J.C. (MYNN)
