Last week someone put up the link for the "Large Address Aware" 4G patch to fix the FS2004 OOM errors. Luckly my newest flight sim computer from Jetline Computers has this patch on it and it WORKS ! I'm thinking about the future when I buy my next flight sim computer. I do not know what Jetline did to install this patch and I want to know for myself. The "instructions" for the installation of the 4 G patch is too sparse for me to understand. Will someone who knows how to install this patch for FS2004 please give me specific instructions on how to "install" the patch to FS2004. Thanks jerrycwo4

This is in the "share your experience" category so if anyone else has a similar issue, this might help. Over the last few weeks my wonderful, trusty old CH Pro rudder pedals have been giving me problems, mostly with uncommanded braking though some other weird stuff as well. I wasn't totally surprised when it started happening as I've had these pedals for a very long time and they have had a ridiculous amount of use. I didn't know in which forum to place this issue, but here goes;After a pc upgrade I'm reinstalling addons to FS2004.Under windows 7 32bit, it's a grind your teeth process, but I'm persistent. The weirdest reinstall is the VFR Photographic Scenery Uk from Just Flight. i got the 4 volumes years ago and have had to reinstall them twice after upgrades without a hitch. Volume 1 reinstall went OK. The second disk of vol 2 was put in the cd drive and started being installed. Halfway, Mcaffee Anti virus opens a window saying; A trojan has been found- Generic.:dx!hj, and the process was aborted. The same thing happened in the second disks of volumes 3 and 4. Hi I'm just curious is it possible to use the external model of a fsx plane in fs9? I know you cant use gauges from fsx in fs9 but what about models? Thanks Lee

Hi I am flying EGLL-ESSA and currently well over the North Sea between the UK and Denmark only to come across a Continental Airlines 757 en route EGBB-KEWR Isn't this rather a different direction that it should be travelling bearing in mind I am well East of East Anglia and that flight should be westbound I would have thought? Hey guys, a really annoying problem occured on my last flights with Leonardo's Fly The Maddog 2008. Just after lift off several messages appear on the EOAP: L oil press lowL gen offL CSD oil press lowL hyd press low I'm not sure, but very probably the left engine shuts down, too. That may be a rookie mistake, but I currently have no idea what may have caused it, so I'd be very happy if somebody has any idea how to solve that...

Who makes the best free A330? Is it Posky? Or maybe Flightcraft? Or is there another maker that I don't know about. I usually don't fly the heavy aircraft and I thought I do a European holiday flight using the A330.

I haven't flown the Posky A340 in such a long time so tonight I thought I do a short flight using it. As soon as I loaded the plane I got a CTD. Any ideas what is wrong?

Good Day I have the Project Opensky v2 B777 installed and is looking for a panel that has the ability or function to enable the aircraft to capture the ILS glideslope on approach and also has a FMC function. I know there is the PSS panel but are there any freeware panels with this capability? Regards

HelloToday i bought shiny new zippy keyboard (maplins) EL 610 MINI keyboard that illuminates nicely (thought it might be good for night flying ) but the keyboard setting appears to be for the US.No matter what I do I cannot get this to work with an English UK keyboard layout.I have tried the language preference thingy page but absolutely bugger s88t all is occuring.Have tried Internet forums... Hello AllI use the same 2d panel in all my 777s OSKY/MELJET one little things niggles me. When i select my aircraft I find that in the initial 2d forward view there is a little black area at left hand side of panel where the panel and outside scenery should fit seamlessly .I have to drag the outside view down manually with mouse until panel and outside mesh correctly with no gap.What is particularly frustrating is that I learnt how to fix this problem ,but have forgotten how i did it.Anyways any ideas guys?Andy

I downloaded the Posky 777 VC version to take a second look at it. I found the landing/taxi lights don't work in the VC. I can't believe after all this time, praise, and merges there's no landing lights visible from within the VC. Please tell me I've done something wrong with my install.

I wrote Henry Tomkiewicz requesting a paint kit for his C210P. Apparently he had uploaded the kits for his AI Cessna package here at the AVSIM Library. They were lost in the crash. If anyone has the kit for this aircraft, please contact me. Thank you Michael Verlin

Hi Guys My flightsim setup is set in 2008 ( I like all the old liveries of the American carriers) I have most of the US covered in relevant airlines to any given area. I.E United at KORD, Spirit at KFLL.I have always inserted my own airliners and flightplans using ATIM, TT Tools etc. Now here's the question, I have always been tempted by WOAI. Before using this utility would I need to remove my 350 plus airliners and existing flightplans and start from scratch? And, if I wanted to update to say 2011, if I load up WOAI is it just a case of overwriting the existing WOAI package.Any help would be apprecated.RegardsNic Jackson

Hi Friends, My computer crashed and i had to reinstall everything. I am using Word of Airlines for Air traffic. Since the new installation - the foreign aircrafts are missing the info about their routes and the name of the airline.. It only shows altitude, Aircract type. Hi guys!To get to the point; the level d 767 is great, but there is something what is putting me off, and has put me off for the last two years of owning the LVLD. Basically the sound is not in synch with the EICAS N1 instrument i.e when the engines spooling up. However the sound is in synch with the EICAS EPR instead. For example, when you accelerate the throttles, the EPR pointer moves up in synch when the throttles are pushed, however it takes time for the engines to spool up to match the EPR pointer, as the engines cant accelerate in such rapid time. The engines sounds on the LVLD is doing that, matching the EPR pointer instead of the actual N1 engine display, which s…

HI I tried to merge the PSS panel with the Project Opensky B777, but when I try to prepare the aircraft for the flight there are a few hangups. First I have to start up the aircraft from the cold dark cockpit mode. When that is doen I sit with a problem where the panel goes back to 'cold and dark mode' whenever I want to start the engines or release the brakes. Does anybody know what the reason can be? Regards

Just to say that today I came across a PDF of the original manuel !Interestingly it allows for inputting of the frequency of the DME fixes.After you have pressed <Insert> for the station altitudeone presses W then key in the station frequency then <Insert>I tried it in the sim but it doesn't work. But apart from that feature the sim gauge is about 99% real. :)vololiberista

Hi, I have installed VOZ 1.8 which is a scenery add on for Australia. I really love it but the night textures include moving cars on freeways which are too fast, too bright and unrealistic. If I fly outside of Australia the textures are not used. So it may be in the bgls. I have posted in the VOZ forum but I don't think anyone is monitoring them very much. Does anyone know how to replace the moving cars with static textures or edit the bgls? I have "un-VOZed" but they are still there. regardsTed

Looking over the nominees for the AVSIM awards for 2011, I saw reference to a freeware scenery producer I had never heard of known as LHSimulations. After downloading them, I have to tell you all, THEY ARE INCREDIBLE! There are three FS9 sceneries as well as FSX and even X-Plane offerings. The FS9 sceneries are three former Warsaw Pact airfields in Hungary and they are among the best sceneries I have ever seen, period! What really got me was not only the detail and "immersion" of them, but they really have a "semi-abandoned" feel to them. Hi, My question is the following: Is there any addon to Fs9, which allow after parking, a VIP ground service (police cars, limousines, etc.) for service a VIP arrivals, departures? Thanks.

I wonder if anyone else has had this problem. When I open FS9, the little box comes up that reads; “Building New Scenery Database Files” even though I’ve added no new scenery files. I’m used to it coming up if I’ve added or deleted scenery, but it shows up every time I open FS9 now. Just started doing this recently. Has anyone experienced this before? Just wondering why it’s showing up now.
