I have downloaded and installed the Bill Holker Canberra T17 but I am missing one repaint I cannot find--that is the aircraft serialled WJ565. The a/c cfg had it as a [fltsim.2] entry.I have looked in all the major sites and have not located it.Does anyone know where I could find it please?Any help would be appreciated.

Hi.I've recently noticed a disquieting aspect of a lot of free or stock FS9 aircraft. They need increasing deflection of the rudder during a turn in order to keep the turn coordinated. The only free small aircraft I've found so far that requires a steady deflection is RealAir's C172.Give it a go. Get hold of RealAir's C172 (free) and try a turn. The behaviour is most obvious when skidding, holding the plane level while turning using only the rudder. Steady rudder gives a (nearly) steady change in heading. Then try it in the stock C172. The effect of the rudder diminishes as the turn progresses. Why? Is this fading of the rudder normal? Does it happen in real life?So on to…

I know the default helicopters in Fs9 won't fly like helis but I can't even get the default Jet Ranger to show up as A1 static traffic.I've made a flight plan with lots of waiting time, thinking it would sit on the ramp more or less all day....but its no where to be seen,...any ideas anyone.Thks David

Hello ! Well...here I am asking for a lot of help on the Epic LT By Lionheartcreations. I am having a lot of trouble taxing this bird. I have tried everything from sensitivity settings to fsuipc calibrations and there is no way I can smoothly control the aircraft on the ground the thing that had most succes is the condition lever set to a minimum so that I have the less power aviailable on the engine, but still many many times I get a really fast reaction on taxiways or complete stops on runways and ramps. Has anybody here had mastered the art of taxing this aircraft ? If so, can you guys tell me how to do it. I will appreciate any help I get.Thanks in AdvanceRegardsIgnac…

Hello All,I just recently put a new rig together and just over the weekend I've purchased 22" LCD. Being on a 21" CRT I did not notice this (issue?) before, please take a look at the ground texture's quality/color at FT KSEA, this is not normal is it? Look especially under the taxi light of the Wilco's 737.The picture right below is at the same airport during the day, please note the sky textures, there are horizontal lines with different colors in them. I'm pretty sure I have something not configured proeprly, I just can't find out what it is. Hi guys.I didn't fly PMDG a/c for a long time.Know I notice that I cannot capture properly LOC on any airport.The problem is not with magdec.bgl, because on the rwy I have LOC indication as it should.The problem is with approach, PMDG a/c is always few degrees left or right (LOC signal not at center). I love this program - unsupported though it is by the producers (as far as I can see).I have heard that if I upgrade from XP to Windows 7 it won't work. Has anyone tried this? Is there not a 'compatibility mode' in Windows 7 that would allow it to run?I'd really miss this program. Hope someone can post some good news!! Thanks.Martin

The tile says it all...Was flying from PHNL. Upon approach to KMSF (V1 simulation freeware scenery), runway 34L, I lost the magnetic deviation, resulting in a mess with the autopilot.The plane was level-d 767.After manual landing, I closed FS9 and launched it again. The mag dev had was still gone.I made the scenery unable in the scenery.cfg and after launching FS9 again, the mag dev was back!I enabled it back and surprisingly, the mag dev was back as normal.Do you know what could have triggered all this?ThanksGhiom

Recently I placed Fs9 and FSX on the same computer as a new installation. Followed the instructions per David Marshall for a Win 7 64 bit system dual installation. I have to say that the Fs9 side operates great but my computer was simply not up to the task of operating FSX from a performance perspective. I reinstalled FlyTampa TNCM, KBOS, VHHX, and KBUF both for FS9 and FSX. I now have multiple scenery library listings for those scenery's in FS9. VHHX and KBUF are fully functional. KBOS will show only the default scenery and TNCM leaves me a "grass field" with no airport scenery in sight. Any help would be greatly appreciated concerning this matter.

A new VFR Flight Planner covering the U.K. including the Channel Islands and Northern Ireland is available for GA Pilots free from www.skydemonlight.com. This has been released as an aid to flight safety but is also a good learning tool for serious simmers thinking of obtaining a license etc.. Once installed, bookmark the page. You will need Microsoft Silverlight installed and 15Mb available on your hard drive. An upgrade (paid) is available for GA/VFR pilots. A review can be read in the June issue of Pilot magazine.

I tried a little experiment today, I tried using windows 7 speech recognition with FS9. I was pleasantly surprised, all the pull down menus worked, all the keyboard commands worked and all the options on the main screen can be selected by voice. Give it a try. Dave F.

For reasons unknown I can NOT log into the Eaglesoft Forum so I'll have to reply here. The Eaglesoft X (v1) is the ONLY aircraft I have in both FS2004 and FSX that does NOT fly satisfactory. It hangs UP BAD on my Windows 7 , 64 bit computer. Too bad this is one of my favorite aircraft, but I have figgured out a so, so work around that works most of the time. I hate "work arounds" but sometimes you have to use them.I have an elabrate flight sim system that uses 4 monitors: 3 - 26" monitors for the flight system and a 17" monitor for my GPS. To make the Eaglesoft X fly fairly well( most of the time) I had to pull my Garman 500 GPS onto the 17" monitor and open the "throt…

I have just finished the most frustrating search in the file library in the last 12 years !!!!! I'm looking for that new aircraft, "TBM700" by Michel Migaud. I have used every possible combination of words etc that I can think of looking for this aircraft without any luck. I have used: "tbm700_a.zip", "socata tbm700" and "Michel Migaud" and every combo of these. Would someone PLEASE give the EXACT words to use in the library search and what line to put this info on. I know this has been discussed at length here and other places, however I have not been able to find any kind of resolution to this disgusting error. Just about to the point that I can not make a complete flight, can almost count on it: right on the final approach (usually under 1000' AGL) and bam! crash to black....G3d.dll error. Have tried everything I can think of, disable AI...disable scenery... use real weather... no weather... nothing matters. What is the point of spending the time to set up and make a flight only to get a crash to black during the last 30 or so seconds. Any fresh ideas on this issue are most welcome!

For the longest time I have been using Lago's Rome scenery (it comes with LIRF, LIRA, and LIRU) but now I want to use the ISD scenery with the Lago scenery. In the readme for the ISD scenery it says the 2 will work together but it doesn't say how to do it. So how would I merge the ISD Rome scenery with the Lago scenery?

Hey all, I downloaded the awesome freeware TBM700 tbm700_a.zip.I have an issue with seeing out of place strobe lights that are only visable when in the VC. Outside the aircraft everything works fine. download Kogalym (USRK) scenery from avsim.su and in the screenshots for the scenery they show custom apron, taxiway, and runway textures. But when I install the scenery my apron, taxiway, and runway textures are default textures. Hi guys, I´ve not flown FS9 for approx. one year. Had been on FSX all the way but since I have some problems with my FSX installation and I don´t want to fix this now, so I´ve switched back to FS9 again. The inbuild srceen shot utility in FSX is very nice but there isn´t such a thing incorporated in FS9, so can someone tell me a good and easy to use tool do this?
