Hi I have just installed windows 7 and downloaded flight sim 9 again onto this new machine, I have now began the slow prossess of transfering all of my add on sceneries into the fresh install and my trouble is I am not able to get new scenery downloads into the flight sim. I have ran the .EXE for the scenery and it has loaded into the addon scenery file okay, some have installed directly into flight sim and these I can not move up or down in the priority list and get them to stay where i locate them, as each time i restart the flight sim program thay are back where the were placed on the original download. Also the scenery that has loaded into the add on scenery will not…

I can't figure out how to have log book entries automatic, even after searching the forums.. I thought I made all the settings correctly but.. no luck. I have a logbook name. Bill" - that's me...Whenever I exit FS I get a notice- "You have chosen to log flight time but the logbook file -'plines1968' does not exist. You will not be able to log flight time until you re-create the flight time logging file or select a new flight time logging file in the log book dialog."Someone suggested adding the log book name "Bill" somewhere in the FS .cfg file, which I did..?Any help greatly appreciated.Bill

Was there ever a "patch" created to allow Mark Smith's Bremerton National Airport to be used with UTUSA? If you have never seen the freeeware software package it is a great rendition of the airport. It just does not align properly with UTUSA.ThanksTom

With all the rave reviews I'm thinking seriously of purchasing the iFly Boeing 737, however looking at a video I see the rain wiper needs fixing ?, see attached screenshot. Has anyone experienced this, I'm sure iFly wouldn't have released with such an obvious fault. I found this on the Wingbest.com site. Hey Folks,i do use My Traffic 2006 since a couple of months now. Never had any problems with it until now. Here's whats going on: Yesterday i've downloaded Armi Tic VTBS Suvarnabhumi new Bangkok international scenery from simmarket. Since this Airport was never part of FS9, My traffic kinda described how to implement a new airport. VTBS now is shown in the airport list inside my traffic, BUT, the airport keeps to be empty. No traffic at all is coming in or going out. Since the manual of My Traffic about this topic is worth ######, i'm asking anyone out there, could someone give me any idea of how to get AI-Traffic to use VTBS instead of keep flying into VTBD.Any suggestio…

I'm trying to gather info, so I can start building my aircraft hangar. I like shorter regional routes so I thought the CRJ would be a good one to add, but I see there aren't many choices out there. I'd like to stay with freeware for now.I've seen some videos of the POSKY CRJ 200 (looks very good) and it seems a lot of people like it, so I think I'm going to give that a try. However, I'd like to add a panel that will accept the Ernie Alston's ISG FMS add on. I know Hector Molina's panel has been retrofitted with ISG FMS. But, what about the Skydeck CRJ panel? I have this effect when landing at certain FS9 airports. For instance I just landed at KBOS (from Bostonv2.zip - by George Grimshaw) - and am met with what you can see in the video link.The odd thing is that I do not get this when I start at the airport, nor if I save the flight (+ flickering textures) after landing (AutoSave) and reload it. Said 'flickering textures' are now stable.If I remove the file ground.bgl, then there is no conflict and so no flickering - I just get the 'snowy' texture which you can see in the video. But the ground.bgl file contains a lot of information - many different bitmaps (I see after decompiling it) and the airport looks awful without it, s…

I bought the Maddog MD-80 Proffesional from LSH a view days ago.And I have a heavy problem.I´ve done the ground checks all like they are listed in the manual! I started the 2nd engine... no problem.Then I want to start the first engine and the EGT goes up but it stops at 610 and the engine does nothing.What is the problem???I´ve payed so much money for that lag???Please help me fast if you can, I want to finish the flight today :(

Tonight I loaded up a flight at Imagine simulations KDEN and when I went to choose a start parking spot I could not find B43 so I just choose parking 43 and I ended up at C22. I opened up Swordys ADCAD clicked on properties and by gosh I was at parking spot 43 which was not even close to C22. So I went and reloaded a new AFCAD with no JOY. So then I I went in to scenery library under setting an deleted it restarted FS9 added area,restarted again and then was able to find gate B43 in the drop down menu and when I loaded up I was indeed at B43..... I did this with all the scenery's that were loaded before and after I loaded this and they all suffer the same issue..Is there …

Hello all,Recently, I recalled enjoying flying the BAe 146-200 (mostly in Air Wisconsin colors) on an old system. I believe the panel was from the BAe Panel Project and the particular model from the ARNZ group. I've easily tracked down the BAe 146 panel in question but am having the most challenging time finding the most-current BAe 146 model that exists out there. Is there a chance someone might be able to point me in the direction of the most recent BAe 146-200 or Avro RJ 85 model? I've made an RAF Jurby airfield at these coordinates N54* 20.4563' W4* 30.5762'. I've added it to my FS9 Scenery Library & it shows in the list of locations to choose from.When I clicked Fly Now I found I was at a barren location with these coordinates S33' 3.78'W55' 16.42' +632 in S.America. The only way I got to Jurby was by dragging my aircraft via Map to Jurby & saving the flight.Can anyone tell me why FS9 is misbehaving like this & is there a fix for this problem?

If I try to load a flight at Sion LSGS or try to fly near it I get a black screen and fs9 crashes. I have tried disabling add on scenery and a1 traffic to no avail.Could anyone try this and confirm that it is only my problem not general.ThanksMike

I recently made the move to Windows 7 x64 Home Edition (from Vista 64) and did a clean install, i.e. not the upgrade. I installed FS9, ran the 9.1 update, ran fs9 and then made some changes to the fs9.cfg file to fix the blurred textures. Hi.My FS9 PC is not on-line so I make my own weather. However, I feel I'm cheating by setting weather manually. In addition, setting different weather for different stations is tedious and time consuming.Frustration and impatience leave me with the same weather throughout a flight, which leads to further frustration...I'm currently using Pablo Diaz' High Def. Environment v. 2.0 for the cloud textures and sky colour and a combination of FS9, Radar Contact and Air Hauler. What is available, compatible, and easy to use that can give convincing, changing and possibly random weather for a standalone PC?Thanks in advance.D

I know these areas can be hard on a computer but I have a dual core 2.6 if I recall and a raptor Hardrive along with an Nvidia 1G 9800GT video card.I can be anyplace else with everything maxed and get 30 plus frames with 100% AI traffic at Atlanta or LAX and no problems. I noticed this happening a few weeks ago but I have not flown much on the East Coast so I was wonderig if a scenery I may have added could cause this???Any thougths would be appreciated as I have not addd anything in a while so its very strange.Thanks Shayne

I have several fs9 installs on my C drive, 1 is default, 1 for goldwings and 1 for UT.Each has its own oldscenery, newscenery and scenery.cfg files.There is also a scenery.cfg file in the user\name\appdata\roaming\microsoft\fs9 folder. How does this one relate to the other files or is a carry over from when I only had one install.Thanks for any help.

I have lately added some scenery to FS9 and after doing so attempted to start the sim. Everything loads properly with the selected aircraft and airport. However, after starting the aircraft's engine, needle movements on the instrument panel become jerky. External views disclose only a grey aircraft, and the view freezes in whatever position it is in. After using ctrl-alt-del to shut down the sim, the error msg says the following: SZ Mod Name: hungapp. appcompat.txt/fs9exe.mdmp.I am thinking there is some problem with either my graphic or sound settings, or driver. Hi,I have no Radio/Avionic Power but switch is on. No matter what aircraft I load, no matter if I turn on the engines, I have no power and the radio displays stay dark. Has anyone any idea how to solve this?Normaly, when I change the plane or start FS9 again, the problem is solved (drained battery). But now I can start FS9 again and have the same situation.
