Hi all, I recently had to carry out a complete re-install of all addon aircraft and scenery, in the wake of a motherboard meltdown, but I noticed that after this re-install, NO building lights turn on when I set the time to dusk, rendering what used to be truly spectacular night vistas to featureless scenes of darkness.I imagine I may have accidentally toggled a setting that disables the night lights in Aerosoft ground scenery, but so far I have not found a way to re-activate the night lights. In the Aerosoft Heathrow scenery, only the runway lights and NONE of the building lights turn on at dusk. I haven't seen a problem like this one before, and would be grateful for…

Since it seems most payware developers have moved on to FSX I'm wondering if there are any major FS9 releases in the future? Currently I can only think of the QualityWings BAe-146.

I have a very general question about how the weather works in FS9, and if I'm setting it up correctly.I just installed FS9, FSUIPC, and GE Pro. I'm currently using the default weather, which is fine for now and actually doesn't look that bad. My very general question is how do these 3 work together to control the weather? More specifically, how does GE Pro affect the weather? Is it considered an external weather controller? When I set it up, it developed several ground and SKY texture sets. What does this do? I didn't fully understand the manual.How does FSUIPC play into all of this and does it have any impact on GE Pro?Thanks.

Hello Gentlemen,I recently did a reinstall FS9 , but one thing which has come to my notice is that my joystick seems to have become very sensitive , which it was not before and also i have kept the sensitivities same as before , however iam not sure about the 'Null Zone'..Also , when even iam not holding it the aircraft seems to move left or right....God knows why.....And whenever i hold the stick also it wavers a lot and its getting difficult to fly the aircraft and landings are always going bad..!!Can anyone tell me why this is happening..Thanks for any help!RgdsAtamvir

Hello Everyone,Ok , i have just put in FS9 into my pc , but everytime i take off and begin to climb the aircraft undergoes a very serious stall , this happens with every aircraft at around 18000 ft or above , also when the aircraft climbs the angle of attack is very very high , i mean for a vertical speed of 400ft/min the AOA is 8 degrees....this is happening with every aircraft , i dont know why , i use FSinn and have tried for both VASTIM and CAVOK Wx .....It just seems to happen needlessly!!...Thanks for any help and Regards!

How to force Wilco Airbus to always start in cold&dark?And, how to avoid saving plane status when leaving the flight?At this moment, whenever I launch the flight – the plane starts the same stage as I left it. For example: if I left the plane with batteries and APU on, next time when I start my flight – both of them are on. Every time when I want to have the plane cold&dark, I have to turn off everything before leaving or enter Aircraft menu and then click cold&dark button in the config. Is it possible to change it, or do I have to live with that?P.S. I’m using FS9,1 and Win XP Pro, and I don’t now why, but the Cold&Dark key sequence (Ctrl+Shift+D) is not …

Hello, can somebody please tell me how to load a default gps flight plan into the fmc ? I know you have to press "FRM FS GPS" in the fmc but when i press it nothing happens. Any help appreciated. Thanks.

I was looking at my folder where my FS9 cfg file is kept (C-computer-users-Joseph-AppData-Roaming-Microsoft-FS9). And in that folder there is a aircraft folder with all my planes that I have installed in FS9 (and some that I don't have any more). There is no textures or anything else in the folders just a file named "state". Is there a reason why this folder is there? Does FS9 use this folder for something? I never noticed it before.(I use Windows 7 if that makes a difference)

I just purchased and downloaded the KDEN scenery from Imaginesim. First of all, the airport looks great overall. So far, I've just slewed around to take it all in and I like what I see.The one thing that disappoints me, however, are the runway approach lights. I like how the developers have included the approach light posts/mounts leading to the runway threashhold, but what I don't like is the actual approach lights don't line up with the mounts/posts - i.e. they are still flush with the ground like the default airport. Hi. Today my fs9.exe file, instead of showing the usual black aircraft, now shows the MS default (as per screenshot). It still works, but all my flt files are also now showing the same thing. The FS9 icon in the taskbar when it is running is also this 'blank' icon.I copied the file over from backup (in the backup folder it shows as normal) but as soon as I paste it into my FS9 folder, the icon changes to the MS default one.Yet another mystery. Hard to believe sometimes the way one's PC changes with no (known) instructions to do so!!Martin

Hi AllJust thought I'd share that I've just purchased the TSS Soundsets for the Airbus A320 family (both CFM and IAE) and can't begin to tell you how good they are.Not sure how many of you have, or have thought about payware sounds...I was a little bit sceptical before I purchased but they are absolutely fantastic.The sound when I powered up those engines was just phenomenal :( it sounds absolutely nothing like what is included with the Wilco 'buses that I've been flying.Anyone who is on the brink of purchasing payware sounds...you won't be disappointed with these.I may well have to think about looking at their Boeing sounds too...oh dear...this could hurt the wallet! Hey All,I have got the Project Tupolev Tu154 and installed it. When I wanted to load it a problem has occured.(picture) It is not only with that one file it is with millions of .gau files.I runed the installer again and chose the repair mode but the problem have not gone. Hey everybody,I bought Eric Marciano's upgrade pack for volume 1 and volume 2 which runs at a price of 40 Euros. The upgrade works perfectly and it really enhances the panel..... if you fly the wilco models. Now, who thinks the volume 2 models look anything like the real wide bodies? Anyone? I didn't think so. :( So here is the problem. Before (with the last update that wilco gave) mergers with the airbus were very simple and everything worked great. Now that I have the upgrade, no merger with any other add on will work. Period. I have tried everything. What I have concluded is that the new gauge file is tied to the model file, and it will not accept any other model fil…

I have the great Vista Voz scenery installed, but the terminal at YPAD is missing and also the YBCG terminal is missing, any ideas on a fix.I read once that we had to move the YPAD file to fix this up.
