I was looking over their website and cant find a price point for REX for fs9? Unless i create an accounc i cant seem to find a price point. I dont really want to create an account unless i plan on purchasing something which is why i would like to see a price before signing up.So the question what does this program go for??P.S unless im totally blind and there is a price on the home page, if there is I apoligize. Hi AllI have the PMDG 737 and am thinking about making the switch to iFly. Mainly because I like to use 2D panels and hear that the iFly's 2D panel is exceptional, as well as the overall model and handling being much improved on the PMDG.Unfortunately I can't seem to find an in depth review at all anywhere! Obviously there are countless threads with users opinions, but I'd quite like to read something as in depth as an AVSIM review, if anyone knows where one can be found?Many thanksMartin

What's wrong with the main Avsim main page. Whan I click on an article this error message comes up. Today I received an email from Just Flight. Here's part of the ad: "The experts at CLS (Commercial Level Simulations) have worked their magic to develop superb models of the 767" Since ,in my opinion, The LDVD 767 is the most advanced aircraft in FS2004 and my favorite "heavy" I was wondering how this new version of the 767 might be differant. They advertised a 50% off, so for $15 I thought I'd give it a try.It download and installed without any problems. When the "cockpit" poped into view I was very pleased. Hello forum.I've been flying the MD-11 from PMDG alot lately, and the realism is really awesome. Now I wanna take my flying to the next level, and do some more detailed planning.What software should I use, if I'd like to add real world weather with winds aloft to FS2004 and from those data, calculate estimated fuel usage for a given route, so I know how much fuel to load up in my PMDG MD-11? If creating a flightplan for PMDG products isn't supported I don't mind entering the route manually in the FMC.Thanks in advance.

Hi all!I've been using the awesome Alphasim U-2S for a while now. I tweaked the FSX panel.cfg to use FS9 gauges so now the panel and VC have GPS and EICAS :DI was just wondering: does anybody have any suggestion for a realistic GE F118 soundpack to use? Right now I'm using the soundpack from the IRIS F-35.

I recently downloaded this (it's here on Avsim) and am impressed. It's a lovely model and flies nicely. I do like these older airliners, which to me seem to have a bit more character to them than today's monsters. Hi All,Well I am getting quite frustrating right now with FsPax.on Fs9 :( All for sudden I am getting no sounds like "Destination set" also all speeches are gone.Yes I do have the sound on as you can hear the engine's and nope no luck on their site with this topic.So PLEASE anyone and idea how to fix this.Ps. also yepp installed FsPax and Fs9 over and over but no luck :(

The title says it all , i want to know about programs which make fs9 better, my sim is running pretty heavy because of lots and lots of addons , hence it takes lot of time to load and go from one step to another , and the frames have also taken a very serious beating!All i want to know is like we have the defragmenter and cleanup utilities for our pc, anything of the sort for FS??I want to make it a little more cleaner!Thanks for any help!RegardsAtamvir Multani

Today i reload FS 9 on to my new setup,Gigabyte GA-G41MT-S2 motherboard with 4 gig ram,optional 4gig for 64bit one day,all my other kit stays as is, will this be a big improvement comments please! it`s now 08,14 in South Africa so most of you will only be up later.

I'm using FS9 on a windows Vista system. everything was working fine until I downloaded and installed the Ifly 747-400 and service pack3. after the install I lost all the sounds from FS. I don't even have the clicking sound while selecting menu items on the start up page.(weather, airports, time of day ect.) All other sounds on my computer are fine. I uninstalled the Ifly plane and the sounds didn't come back. Has anybody had this happen before? Any ideas how to fix this short of reinstalling FS. Hi GuysI have just bought the above on E-Bay in a new unopened box, when I install the disk to install it comes up as version 1.00, FeelThere issued a service pack way back in 2005 to upgrade and improve various items with the product. I have been on FeelTheres site looking for a patch to no avail.Can anybody help with the service pack which updates the aircraft to 1.11, I can provide proof of purchase from E-Bay if neccesary. I have also written to FeelThere but they are not taking E-Mails until April.Any help would be appreciated.RegardsNic Jackson

Hello AllWhen you move a newly downloaded aircraft into the main FS9 Aircraft folder it has name ie POSKY 737 MALEV or suchlike.Can that name be changed? The reason i ask? because inevitably whenever I start a flight these days there is bound to be some reason I need to open the aircraft folder of the plane I have selected for my flight. As my aircraft folder is ever increasing trying to locate the relevant aircraft model folder can sometimes take ages scrolling up and down trying to locate it.If I could alter the name to show exactly the model and the airline would mean I could locate that folder much quicker and save much faffing about.cheers Andy

I am moving abroad soon and as an interim measure want to install a copy of my FS9 setup onto my laptop (as I won't immediately be taking my main 'high end' FS9 PC with me). The laptop is a Dell XPS M1730 and I know it runs most FS9 stuff well - it is what I used before I bought the new PC for FS9/FSX - it will certainly be far better than no FS9 at all for the first few months.My question is this: given that some of my FS9 folders are now so huge, I am not going to be able to fit everything onto the laptop hard drive, so will have to run one or two of the FS9 folders from an external USB2.0 drive. I am not sure which folders would be the better or worse choices for this…

Hello everyone at AVSIM. I don't know if anyone is having the same issues with Airline gate codes. I looked up to 10 pages of forums before writting this one, I did not see one. In my Aircraft CFG under Airlines ie.. United my gate code reads UAL, see below my CFG, but when I land say LAX no matter what my runway is they always puts me in the farthest gate near runway 6R by myself. I find it intriguing. I put all my airlines CFG to read the right gate codes to match their airlines. Any solutions would greatly be appreciated.

Just wanted to share this one with you. I have installed a program called Air Display on my iPDA then the corresponding PC version and I am now able to window my LevelD 767 FMC and drag and reposition it on my iPAD screen. It has two-way communication so I am able to type in a flight plan and it will be as if there was a real hardware version of the FMC connected to my computer. Here is a photo and I will make a video and post it if anyone is interested.

Hi everyone,In the last few days, FS2004 on my computer has been missing the lines of red texts that usually appear on the upper or lower edges of my screen. When my parking break is on, there usually is a red line telling me to press "." to release the brake. And when i click control z, there should be a line of information on the upper edge of the screen. However, in the past 3 days, those lines have dissapeared, I have tried restarting it and going through the options menu. Has anybody ever encountered this problem, and if so, is there a fix? Hey all, I was just wondering if i were to get ultimate terrain will it add every lake in the are that i purchased. I want to pretty much be able to use a VNC and plot vfr routes, following lakes and maybe even roads. Is this what UT is all about?Thanks

I've downloaded some aircraft and they have an unrealistically shiny, reflective surface texture. I know nothing about how to modify textures or anything else technical in FS9 design - but is there a straightforward modification I can make to an aircraft's file(s) to reduce this reflective texture?TIA

I'm about to set up FS9 and am looking for a crj to fly. I know posky is closed but is the crj 200 still available for download anywhere?Does anyone still use this aircraft? If so, how do you like it for flying virtual airline routes? Thanks!
