HiyaI just saw the amazing 777 panel by Greg Wilson in the FSX forums. The panel is available in the avsim library as : Filename: jb777panel_r09.zip, however, it states it's for FSX :Worried:Has anyone successfully, used this in Fs9?

Dear Colleagues,I try to create AI traffics using 'Traffic Explorer' (in FS9 SDK) that obey the more realistic my planned flight plans (SID).I can create the AI traffic manually, but I want to do that more automatically.In that case, is there any way to interrupt (insert) the new traffic using external programs (ex. VB, VC++ etc.).Because I can describe these languages a little bit, then if I can edit the "Traffic Explorer", I will be satisfied with the result. I am looking for for the AI file aal_md80_set.zip which is not showing up in AVSIM or Flightsim libraries. Any help would be appreciated.

I know this is an ongoing issue on these boards but I would be grateful for advice.Previous posters on other threads have identified AI aircraft and scenery addons as the main culprits and I plan to create a hanger for rarely used aircraft. I will also disable rarely used photosceneries. Apart from that my dedicated FS9 HDD is getting on a bit (3 years intensive use) and I would like to replace it. Obviously I want to avoid having to reinstall everything. Some folks have recommended 'ghosting' the contents of the FS9 drive on to a new drive without explaining how to do it. What is 'ghosting' and how is it done?I hope it is nothing to do with the dreaded Norton Ghost....…

Hi All,After growing frustrated with the jerkiness of FSX (even with good framerates), I fired up FS9 for the first time in years and have really been enjoying plane-spotting with AI Traffic set at 100% and getting a butter-smooth 60 fps. Using the WoAI Delta pack (among others) at the default ATL airport, I have noticed something strange. Every once in a while (sometimes very often), I'll notice that the arriving AI aircraft are rolling across the ground as they come into the airport. I haven't yet determined where/when they touch down... but it's obviously well short of the the runways. Has anyone else experienced this behavior with AI traffic? I know that AI traffic ha…

Hi!I noticed some weird behavior with the nosewheels of the default Boeing 747 and 777. The 747 nosewheel strut seems to be leaning inward during a turn (e.g. leaning toward the aircraft during the turn), it really does looks as if the nosewheel will collapse. From the VC the leaning effect is also very pronounced. The whole VC shifts foward during the turn. To clarify, when I turn right, the whole nosewheel strut tilts inward, the left (outboard) nosewheel digs itself into the tarmac and the right (inboard)nosewheel looks to be about 2 feet in the air, vice versa for left turns. hello,I am still running Fs-9 but reinstalled it recently on windows 7 64bit.Going step by step I have installed all scenery and I am currently installing all utilities concerning Fs-9.But with installing flighsim commander I am running into trouble.Ok I have downloaded the latest version (8.6) and installed it as administrator and outside 'Program files' or 'programs files (x86).The programs installs alright but when I try to run it, I always get a 'windows installer' window instead of the ususual splash screen.It's as if I try to install it again. I don't remember ever having this error before. Is it a coincidence that I installed SP1 for my Windows 7 x64 today? I hope so..I have read a number of posts here on error R6025, but it seems a complex issue. Is there a consensus as to what causes this (FS9.exe is shown as the programme in error - I attach a screenshot)? Is it the a/c I am flying, or other FS9 factor, or is the problem outside the domain of FS9 altogether and something to do with Windows itself? Any advice welcome - I restarted my flight, KEWR to TNCM (thanks to AutoSave,) and flew on from there with no further problem, so maybe this was a one-off (fingers crossed!!), but it'd be good to be a bit prepared…

Hi,Random blackscreen is my nightmare,today sim ran for nine hours then gave up using 2 monitors both shut down no error message,this has been going on for a long time, have reinstalled ect, disabled scenerys still no luck,will just shut down screens, pc fans still runing,have to reboot every time.Run out of options,(exept new machine) any ideas welcome.Winxp sp3e66002g ram285 gtxfs9.1ThanksRichard.

When using WOAI how do I fill my airports up? I have lots of ad on scenery too, would that have anything to do with the lack of traffic?

Looking for some realistic rockies scenery...I have UT USA/GE PRO/FSGenesis etc, also Megascenery Denver...however most of the US rockies appear more like the Appalachian montains (rolling/green) than barren steep granite.Appreciate vectors.ThanksRich Perry

Since I've been doing a re-install, I've found that I've got both an Agen_XTrees_lib9_1.BGL and an Agen_XTrees_lib9_2.BGL wanting to be placed in my "Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\Generic\scenery" folder. I seemed to remember someone once saying that there were issues with the co-existence of certain tree libraries and was wondering if anyone remembers.So can Agen_XTrees_lib9_1.BGL and Agen_XTrees_lib9_2.BGL co-exist in an FS9 installation? Also, does anyone remember the tree libraries that have issues with one another? Please advise and thanks!Mark

Been looking around for the DWAI DC-8-63 model. I've searched http://htai-models.com/downloads/dwai/fs_projects/ and it's not there. It doesn't appear to be here in the library. Does anyone know where to find this one? Please advise and thanks!Mark

hello alli try to install the fs9.1 exe file and as i opens i got error msg stating "this application has failed to start because MSVCP70.dll was not found.re-installing the application may fix this problem.now before doing this i did deleted the fs9.exe file which was cracked and installed so does not need cd to excute the sim.looking for help

Late last year I bought a new computer (see below) and have enjoyed flawless performance ever since. But just recently I have started to see an occasional pause while (I assume) it loads new textures. It wasn't doing that until I recently tried a tweak I saw on here - it caused a frame rate hit so I went back to my original fs9.cfg but now I have this problem. I don't want to call it "stuttering" and my FPS are normal. It's just a momentary pause that wasn't there before.If anyone can help I would be gratefulIan

Hello AllI have the siamviasian VTBS airport installed on my PC .While I can see that a lot of work has gone into this freeware scenery, i find it a bit of a system challenger on my setup. I was wondering if there is another less detailed version (freeware). This is the only addon that I use (The flight and particularly landing are the most important things to me) So i am not bothered to much about detailed airports..cheers Andy

I have been using FS9 successfully since it's been out. Very few problems up till now. I just upgraded my computer. I had a Pentium D 2.8Ghz with 2gig ram, Radeon HD 4850 512meg video card running WinXP home. No problems. No I got a AMD Phenom II X2 545 with 4gig of DDR3 ram, Radeon HD 4670 1gig in a Gigabyte MB running the same WinXP home. Same LG 19" LCD monitor, keyboard, mouse & yoke/pedals. The computer is faster. I am able to up most everything to max in the FS9 sliders. Now I am getting a flicker when I switch views in 2D. I also get an occasional white flash while I am flying. It is driving me buggy. I use to get this when I tried FSX but then it w…

As you can see from this image that I seem to be having issues with my PA A319 models. The spot on the nose. All the repaints are doing this for both the CFM and IAE models. It seems maybe I am just using an old model. If that is the case, is there a link to the lastest model somewhere?Thanks

Apologies if this has been brought up in other topics before but I could do with getting down to the nitty gritty and straight to the point:As the title says, I am thinking of getting either REX or Ultimate Weather FX by Zinertek for mainly the weather side of it although other aspects may be a possibilty. I have already got installed Zinertek's Ultimate Water Advanced which I quite like so I wouldn't really need any other water textures, unless of course they were a lot better.
