Hi everyone! I was wondering whether to create a new topic about low fps in fs9. I've read a lot of topics on the internet like this one. However, I can't get right solution. Here are a couple of pics of DM's VC10 panel. I have long been a little dissatisfied with the night light effect. So with reference to a general view night photo and a shaky video plus my own experience I have tried to emulate what the night cockpit of a VC10 looks like. Hi. I have installed this, but not as yet run the configuration programme to set up the files. I have been told that this will help turn inland water textures from their current blue/turquoise, so something a bit more realistic. Help desperately needed please if possible.....OK, So I think I have messed up big time and the last thing I want to do is to completely re-install FS9 and all my years of hard work so this would be the last resort!What's happened is this, I installed a programme containing ground textures (not going to mention which one it is) and decided that I did not want it so un-installed it and it seems to have messed up some of my textures. So these scenery's looking really good besides the sinking aircraft. When I install the AI alt bgl file to the proper scenery folder its messes up the the afcads for the chosen airport and it sends my cloud9 LA back to the default afcad. When I open up the afcad program is shows both stock and mod airports activated on all of them. Any suggestions on how to take the planes out of the ground without losing my parking spots at all LA area airports? Dear All,I am newbie in this forum - so please kindly bear with me, but not in flight simming.I just got new computer witn Win7 32 bit installed, replacing the old one with XP. I moved and re-installed all the add-ons, sceneries, aircrafts, panels, etc at the new computer.All are working well, except Ken's panel. It is not clickable anymore. I set my flight cold dark, with the panel is not functioning, I couldn't even switch the battery on.Anybody ever had the same/similar experience? Hi. Short of using Photoshop, does anyone know if it is possible to change the colour of rivers & lakes in UT (FS9)? The turquoise-blue is a bit unrealistic in many contexts. I see no option (unlike FSX version), so I am assuming not?

When I fly to an airport I usually use the "VIP parking" method. If the AFCAD made from Lee's program then no problem at all, but sometimes there are ADE9x/AFX AFCAD.The problem I'm having is that everytime I install ADE9x into my computer, it mess up my Fs9. So can I use Lee Swordy's AFCAD instead of ADE9x/AFX to change the radius and the callsign for specific parking space ?

I use Activesky for real weather. REX for the textures, iFly 737.Early today I landed my Delta 737 safely but right after I parked at the gate, I got crash error. I tried again but this time sitting at the gate and it only works for about a minute and then I get error again./Ah meanwhile Kenedy is suffering from hugeee fog and visibility almost none. I fly my routes continiously (well, I only can think of this word,not quite the right word to describe) with real routes,airlines and aircraft.Right after I think of this way, I started my journey from Chicago Ohare to Madrid. Next, I continued by starting at Madrid and to Miami, and then from Miami...and so on. I have been doing this for the last 1-2 months and absolutely happy with it. At least I have something to think of,sometimes I really really want to go to an airport but from my current position, I have to make 3-4 stops :biggrin:Currently stucking at Kenedy KJFK and trying to get to one of Ryanair's destination. HiI've downloaded many packs from the FS KBT site, and their products always come in installer form. When I run the installer, it always quits because it cannot find FS9. It seems to be unzipping in the C: directory, while I have mine in a separate HDD (H:). Is there any way I can somehow edit the installer to install in the H: directory?

HiSeems like great new freeware scenery for Paphos Airport, but when I installed it and tried to move the aircraft to Paphos, FS9 kept freezing at 12% of the loading stage. The same thing happened when I tried to move to Larnaca or start FS9 at either of these two airports. I also have the Toni Agramont Cyprus scenery enhancement installed, so I moved this out of FS9 in case there was a conflict but even doing this FS9 continued to freeze at 12% when I tried to open any Cyprus airport. I have now uninstalled the new Paphos scenery and reinstalled the Agramont scenery and everything is ok again! Does anyone know if there really is a conflict between the two or might the pr…

Does anyone know where I can find the base aircraft, "iFDG Airbus A318-100 CFM No VC" file? I have downloaded the texture file for the North Central version of this aircraft, by Tom Tiedman. I cannot find the necessary base aircraft that I can use this with.Thanks for any help with this.Larry F.

Just got the iFly 737 -- looks good so far. However, is there a way to increase the brightness for the virtual cockpit? It looks good i guess when sunlight is hitting it, but if you turn away, it gets a bit dim. ThanksDave

Having earlier had a CTD due to the typically buggy atc.dll when just about to land at RKSI, which after reading a fix on Pete Dowson's page, I turned off, only to have a Glideslope approach into 23R at KSFO at 1000ft go CTD with a tcas2v7.dll error. Anyone with any idea what could cause this? Or how do I go about fixing this error.I just hope that when MS Flight eventually sees the light of day,Microsoft will not foist on us simmers yet another buggy product given the amount of feedback they must have accrued by now on their flight sim products.

The attached pic shows a view of a reconstruction of RAF Silloth in northern England, payware from FlightSim Store. It's a fine piece of work, but the white squares you can see are billboard objects* that should show as trees around the buildings, and the textures aren't showing up. There's a similar issue with their RAF Scampton.These particular trees are contained, as far as I can tell, in a file called trees.bgl. hi.I wonder if there's a freeware software which autotunes the comm radio when entering another control? I would find this rather helplful at busy times, and like real commercial flights, the PNF should handle the radios. :( anything out there?/Johan

I've been flying lots of American routes with iFly 737(especially Southwest's routes) and now I want to change my favour to the other side of the Atlantic with Ryanair.I'm looking for a good Malta Airport but it seems there are 2 developers. Aerosoft and Daniel Chircop. Which one do you prefer? Since they are both AES supported I can't decide.Thanks!

Can't reboot. Ran all all utilities in safe mode and complete virus scan. Results all pass. As failing, was able to read blue screen : BC Code: 24 , BCP1: 001902FE, BCP:2 etc. Only connection to internet was "Real World Weather". First problem in 6 years of running FS2004. Appreciate any comment or clue.

Hi Guys,I did a search for my problem in the forums but alas ......In only a very few of my civil jet aircraft the auto throttle causes thrust, sound and speed undulations, especially apparent during the climbing stage in auto-pilot mode, with the auto-throttle and target speed swithed on. At cruise altitude this effect is less but still present.Ideas anyone ?Thanks in advance.Hans
