Hi!I'm back with another problem! () This time, it's about throttles...In about 99% percent of my flights, only one throttle lever is working. When i push my joystick's throttle forward, only one lever moves... This problem just came up from nowhere, have never experienced anything like this before. I've found out that this problem is most common when using the PMDG 737 or the Wilco Airbus (both 1&2), but i have ran into the same problem in other planes as well. Have anyone any idea of what this might be?Rgds!/Wasso

Hello, First, I am new here so, hello!I registered because I have this uber annoying problem in that I cannot use my ATC. I shall try to do my best to describe the problem - I can bring the window up, and I can see my options. For this senario, Ill be at Glasgow Airport. So I have 2 options: 1 - Tune Glasgow ATIS and 2 - Tune Glasgow ground. If I select 2 for taking off I then get the usual options: Request taxi and so on and so fourth. However, If I press a number on my keyboard for one of these options nothing happens. No requests are made, nothing moves - its like I havent pressed anything. Similarly, If I press 1 at the main menu to tune ATIS, nothing happens - no air…

It isn't!!! My Moon is out of sinc with the date. Full Moon is tomorrow but my sim shows the first quarter even though the date and time are correctly set. What's wrong? and How can I correct it?vololiberista

Hello all,I recently discovered that my FPS are lower than everyone else. This actually answered a few questions of mine, regarding payware aircraft and how they "hog" Frame Rates. Usually, I lock in a target of 20 FPS in FS9, but instead I get around 5-10 FPS, at Frame Rate friendly airports. But airports like London Heathrow, SunSkyjet's amazing KPHL, FreeZ Zurich, Portland and other large airports, seem to slow down my FPS to about 1-3 FPS. This makes it really hard to taxi, push back, even with the simplest Freeware and default aircraft. There are some relatively large airports that I don't have this issue with like ISD Rome-Fiumicino and Verona, or UK2000 Manchester …

Hi,i started a topic at captain sim and it seems that nobody is there. i need a little help by replacing the Captain Sim 757 cabin day textures for the night textures. its because i remembered that in real life the cabin lights remain alight while in the sim, the textures change within daylight, also in the cockpit... so im trying to locate the textures with dxtbmp, but id like to ask for a little guidance too, since i don't work much with textures...Also, im trying to change the lighting in the cockpiont and cabin, the lights are generally yellow not white in real life. now here i have the dxtbmp and GIMP for doing this but can somebody give me a hand on what to do? tha…

Hi all,For all of you who have FPS problem (low and unstable FPS) with this add-on when flying the virtual cockpit models. There's a solution which is work very well for me. :D1. Just open panel.cfg file from "C:Flight Simulator 9AircraftPSS-B757panel" (FS9 folder is depending on you installation)2. Find three virtual cockpit sections in the botom of the file.3. Replace the pixel_size value in those three VC sections from 1024 to 512. (or 256 when neccesary)4. Save the panel.cfg file.5. Don't forget to convert all VC texture in "D:Flight Simulator 9AircraftPSS-B757texture" folder to DXT3 bitmap.6. FinishHappy Flying!!!

Hello Simmers, I am aware that there is a program available for FSX were you can use two keyboards and map them to various functions: lights, landing gear, basically anything, provided you have FSUICP. However, does anyone know if there is a similar program to map two keyboards when using FS2004?RegardsPaul

What are afcad files? From what I read they are addon files for airports. Is that correct?

i strat up FSInn or SB4 and when i get to the point where it says, joining multiplayer session via lobby, FS9 freezes. This occurs with both FSInn and SB4, so i figure its a FS9 problem.i uninstalled EVERYTHING FS9 related and FS9, reinstalled with just default aircraft, no add-ons of any kind and FSInn and SB4... no go, same thingany help???

Imagine flying 737-600 short distances. For instance between the Hawaiian islands. What should be the cruising altitude? And should one fly with flaps extended (flaps 10-15) since one will have to prepare for descent shortly?Any tips appreciated.

I went to VASFC site, and where you can download items, there is a PA380 house colour wit a panel , however it is referring to the A320 panel not the 380.So there is only 2 engines start button to it not 4.Any help would be much appreciated.Best regardsHani

Hi, I have installed fs9 back onto my computer after a few months trying to prefect fsx to work, so i am in the slow period of putting it all back on. But i am having a problem, i have so far just installed fs9 and wilcopub airbus volume 1. But when i load fs9 and select the aircraft then select the fly now the fs just crashes! The fs doesnt do this with the default aircraft.Does anyone have any solutions to the problem?Cheers

Does anyone have an idea of how to fix this issue? While I'm "sitting" on the ramp with the engines off, I can pan in any direction I need to; either in virtual cockpit or 2D modes. However, after engine start in any aircraft, whenever I try to pan left or right the view tries to snap back to center like I'm shaking my virtual head. I can pan up and down just fine, but the issue is left or right. I've tried adding a pan command in the FS9.cfg but it's not working for me. Help?!?

Hi allWith the disappointment of Airliner XP and Airsimmer what's the general consensus for a reasonable A319/320 simulation for FS9?I've heard more negatives than positives about the Wilco version so am a little reluctant to purchase that model. The PA models look great, but there are no 'systems' thereIs there any way of putting together something that comes up to at least, say, QualityWings 757 intermediate level?Advice appreciated.

Hello!I've just purchased the Wilco Airbus Evo vol.1. But something's nor right.... On all of my add on liveries (currently Wizz Air, Air Berlin and Scandinavian Airlines), the textures on the wings, landing gear and the horizontal stabilizers are missing! These areas are 100% gray... Does anyone know what the problem might be?Thx in advance!/Wasso :)

Hi simmers,On the 08th May I posted an enquiry about the sound missing from a nice little gauge presented by Glenn Copeland. The Altitude Alerter. I had done everything by the numbers for install. Copied/Pasted the info according to Glenns instructions. No sound however. Our dear "Opa" with keen eye and checking for the details found a typo error in the panel.cfg gauge string. gaugexx=AltAlert_dsd_xml_sound3!dsd_xml_sound3, 0, 0, 1, 1, ./Gauges/AltAlerterGau_2/AltAlert_sound.ini . The line in my .cfg was missing the "er" . I thank all those who have tried to help resolve this and I hope that if there is anyone else out there with same problem, it may now fix it.God Bless…

Hi,Can any one help re latest version of norway airports,On there site are all the afcads last updated 2005 do i still use these,cant find any later ones, the airport package i hve is 2009.i tried to install afcads as per instructions but they dont seem to work.Fist flight was to/from ENML,on take of from rw7 near turning area i end up in sea!!.Ai taxi on grass.Would be grateful for any help as i am no expert .Regards,Richard.

Hi: I am using fs9. Trying to land a 737-200 with ILS. I am short of the runway many times.For exampile I am trying to land at CYQM on runway 06 with an Ils approach. Everything goes very well. I line up perfectly and the ap brings me lined up with 06 and the decent is very good. The problem is that I am short of the runway.The elevation there is about 200 feet. Do I have to consider that to make approach at the correct altitude? I was at 2500 feet at the time of approach. What is the correct altitude at intercept of the Ils?Could someone explain this to me?Thanks Ralph
