Does anyone know whether I can disable faux roads in fs2004? I have installed VFR Terrain and FScene and now find most of the faux doubled up with more accurate and realistic roads presumably from one of my add-ons. Any advice gratefully received. Thanks

Can anyone tell me where I still might be able to find Christian Stock's Cook Island Scenery for FS2004? The author thought simMarket still had it for sale, but it doesn't (I couldn't find it there at any rate). Without it, I can't use several of Lawrie Roache's Cook Island airports (airstrips in several cases)that I stumbled upon a few days ago. Only NCRG and NCAI work well enough with the Default scenery to use without the Cook Islands Scenery...

Before u ask, i have been to the DA forums but honestly, there's cobwebs growing on there website. Anyway i have a problem and it has me stumped. I load up the aircraft with TOPCAT, and have also tried it with DA's Load configuration manager, and all is within limits. Yet when i takeoff using the Captain's side, (and i do not get a takeoff config warning) i cant lift the aircraft into the air, i have to wind the trim right back before it gets airborne. Now here's the part that stumps me. Without reconfiguring, i takeoff using the First Officer's side, and the aircraft lifts into the air as it should. Hi all, Wonder if anybody has found a way around the following problem I'm having? Recently suffered a complete Win7 OS crash. After re-installing the OS, find I have lost all my links etc. On trying to use my account at SimMarket, I find I no longer have the passsword. It seems to be that to contact SimMarket your EMail address is not sufficient, you need a password . On requesting a new password, I'm getting the message a new one has been issued, but no EMail is being recieved and I am stuck in no mans land. Is there no other way to contact this vendor? Is it possible without the plane trying to turn hard to one side of which Ever engine is not running? In real life aircraft don't seem to have trouble at all doing this. Is this a flight sim limitation? Or is there something within FSUIPC, etc I'm missing out on?

Hi, I have a weird situation in FS2004 with WIN7-home 64 bit. Using 2 graphic cards Nvidia Gtx 560 and GT 440 motherbord P8Z68V-Pro Gen 3 and i5-2500K CPU. Nvidia driver 301.42 . When i use 1 card with Monitors , FS2004 is fine.From the moment i use an extra Monitor in the 2nd card ,FS start , i see the Cessna Panel and the scenery above is grey and i can't change view with the "W " or " S " keybord press , neither with my Saitek Pro Flight Yoke. So i can't fly . If i chose in View Option for Tower or Cockpitview , the scenery turn into color ,but then after one " W " change, all blocks again. The engine sound is normal. Hello! I just purchased Airsimmer airbus and I can't get the joystick to work properly, rudder axis are inverted, and i can't make the flaps to work. I use Saitek pro flight yoke. I don't use FSUIPC for control assigment. Thank you!

What do you guys/gals think of this great news? Carenado announced the start of new projects developed for FS2004. Due to numerous posts and emails from customers claiming they have been left abandoned in FS9, Carenado invested in a new technique which allows porting some FSX developed aircraft. :yahoo: :drinks:

I have filled in FMC correctly etc etc but whenever I take off, engage AP, the aircraft is unbelievably unstable. It keeps on pitching up and down constantly. Can someone help to try and stabilize the aircraft? What do I do?

Hey! I have one of the WWII Fighters in use, the Bf109e Messerschmitt and when I use that as an AI aircraft, it refuses to turn enroute. I.e. Taxiing and take of, that runs to be OK, but once in the air it refuses to turn when the flightplan says it has to turn to another airport or reference point... And at this same situation I never see this aircraft arriving on the airport where it is expected according to the TTools compiled flightplan... I don't know wether these two characteristics have any relation one to eachother, but that is what I see that happens... Is there any explanation for this Phenomenon? Greetz Jive1

Is there an updated AFCAD for Imaginesim's Newark airport that has the parking codes after the United Continental merger?

In case you haven't already checked, take the Malware Alert from AVSIM seriously. I just ran a scan and the trojan they mentioned was in my system. I am 100% sure I downloaded it from AVSIM. I used the freeware MS Security Essentials and did a full scan - it found it and removed it no problem. Cheers Ian

Hi Guys, I'm really enjoying flying lately having spent alot of time in Airbus books finally achieving how to kiss the ground :P as well overall perfecting my fps and general texture display, weather etc.. and it is perfect in sunset/sunrise/daylight hours. My absolute only issue at the moment with FS9 is night flying, the textures seems unrealistic at best (see attached image below). Could anyone help me with this issue or am I seeing an issue all users have?

What a ripple it caused when it was released on an unsuspecting FS9 user group! I wonder why there has been so little uptake in modelling FS9 planes with huge poly counts? Too hard?

Hi there I have a problem with the LIEE 2008 scenery.. i keeps on building a new fake scenery everytime i restart FS9.. There were solutions referred on a old topic about this wich i followed, but did not work. I've tried to uninstall it ( manually, since it does not have uninstaller ), remove it from the scenery lybrary, but everytime i start FS, it comes on and on again... can someone help me ? regards

Ok here is my problem. I have installed some landmark buildings for Poland, along with Polish Airports Vol.3 Demo. I had FScene Mega Pack 2006, and UTX, and everything ######. My textures are all blue, some parts are missing. I'm now going to try and re-install FScene and see if that helps. But yeah, that's my problem and I need to know how to fix it because I really don't want to re-install. I uninstalled the two sceneries I installed, however, they're still in the scenery library. When I try to delete both from the scenery library and press ok, they just appear again. They I don't enable them, same things happens. As you can see on the picture, a small part…
