Hi. Had a look around the forum, but didn't find a good answer for my question. did find a few things to check though. This specifically references turbroprop engines. I have a B1900D that I fly. It's static thrust rating in the aircraft .cfg file is 150. If I go look up B1900D technical specs, I see a PT6 engine with 1279 shp (Shaft Horsepower) rated at 954kW takeoff thrust. Have looked for a good technical spec conversion for Shp or kW to lbs/ thrust but have not found a good one. Can anybody converrt the real PT6 engine specs into a real value for the static thrust rating in the .cfg file? In comparing aircraft the static thrust rating of the default B…

Hello, i have the World trade center and new york object scenery add on. However the Twin Towers only appear before 9/11/01, Is it at all possible to make them appear after that date? I would like them to be there all the time. thanks, Ron.

Yesterday the 3.5 version of Benoît Gaurant's A300-B4 panel (+SGA model + sounds) was published here at the Library: http://library.avsim...CatID=fs2004pan I used to fly it shortly after Simcheck's A300 was released, but I don't remember the FE panel was that complex if compared with the current version. Hi, I have Wilco Airbus vol. 1 DeLuxe (CD version with the latest SP) along with the upgrade to Evolution. I have noticed recently, that TCAS is not working. As far as I remember, when I had normal version (not Evolution) everything was OK and I saw other planes on ND. But now, no matter what is TCAS setting – I see nothing on it. Here is a screenshot of my settings.

Hi everyone. I dont know if anyone can help me out here but im trying to add some "bluish" NAV lights on the LVL D 767 WL but im getting hell in doing so. when i download real weather and lets say there are heavy clouds, why is it when i get to a certain altitude the couds become transparent, as if they are not there?

As there are a lot of Virtavia aircraft now available for FS9, I thought it would be worth rating these for anyone who is contemplating buying one or more of them. Keeping things simple I am going to rate them on a scale on 1 to 5, where 5 would be aircraft of the iFly 737, PMDG 747, Level-D 767 class and 1 would be perhaps not much better than freeware. Although I have a large number of old Alphasim aircraft (many of which are now marketed by Virtavia) I am not including these as I am not sure if the Virtavia version might be an upgrade on those I bought from Alphasim. Hi all, Bob Bernstein here. Some years back I wrote a scenery product called Havey-Monroe for FS9, publshed by FSADDON. I had just finished the product when megascenery released their PNW for fs9. Of course there was a mismatch. I wrote a patch, to line up my product with theirs. The patch was released as freeware on the fsaddon site. Fast forward to today, a customer has just purchased pnw from megascenery and, only now, needs the patch. Apparently, FSADDON has cleaned off their server, I've built several new computers since then, and I haven't had a service request for years.....I can't find head nor tail of the patch. Hi there, I have an issue with Bill ERJ panel, where I cannot start the APU nor the engines. When I click on them, I can see the hand, but nothing happen I tried going around the area, but with no luck. all other buttons are fine. I have the version 4.0.2. Any idea how can solve this issue. Thanks

Good evening, I am going to buy LSZH Zürich Airport for FS2004 and of course I considered Aerosoft's FS2004 version first. But then I found a threat in the FSX forum saying that a FSDT version is better than Aerosoft's. http://forum.avsim.net/topic/361689-zurich-airport-wich-one/ Is there an alternative to Aerosoft for FS2004, too? - Especially taking into consideration actuality and framerates. Hi Folks. Does anybody know what is going on with my FS? Just lately, what ever jet I use, when flying at e.g. FL310 or FL350, I get what looks like serious turbulance, when there isn't any. My IAS jumps between 240 and Overspeed, and if not monitored closely and arrested, the plane just eventually gets stressed due to the overspeed and crashes. I can't understand what is causing this. It never used to play up like this. Anybody got any ideas please. I thought it may be my weather engine REX, but it seems to do it whether the weather engine is running alongside or not. Hope you can help. John

Okay so I want to fly and IFR flight plan and I go the way points and set them in my GPS. But ATC gives me headings instead of allowing me to fly my route. Are the headings I get corresponding with my flight plan? Should I just use the headings or just use my flight plan? Help!!!

Does 3d lights reflect light on clouds when flying threw them? I thought I read or saw somewhere that it does. The reason I ask this is because I don't see light reflecting on clouds when I fly threw them. Thanks

Recently I started to fly with helicopters a lot on Flight Simulator 2004. And I have noticed one quite unreallistic thing. When I start the engine on a helicopter, the blades start to move too fast, while in real life blades start to turn very slowly at the moment of starting the engines. In FS it takes like 10 seconds to start the engine and take off and in real life it takes a lot more longer, like 1 minuter or so. Is there any way to make the engine start time a little bit longer? I tried changing the prop_anim_ratio in the aircraft.cfg, but it only made the blades spin slower, but the startup time is still the same and obviously too short. Maybe there's some kind of …

just a question, if i were to install a new airport such as King Shaka International, will my downloaded ai aircraft fly to that airport? i have deleted the default MS aircraft in FS9 and run all the required AI aircraft that oporate in RSA. i have the feeling that should i install the airport it will be barron of AI aircraft.

I am desperately looking for a Gulfstream 200 Galaxy to fly on FS2004. I realize Gulfstream doesn't allow flight sim aircraft to be made for their planes, but there has to be one out there. Any input would be amazing! -thank you

Purchased EuroWings' BAe 146 (the solo package, not the Commuter Airliners package)from Simware a couple of days ago. I noticed a weird problem after loading a 146-200 with the EFIS panel. Within the VSI gauge I can see several TCAS symbols and the words "TA ONLY". I've only skimmed over the user manual at this point and didn't see anything mentioned about the BAe 146 in this package having a TCAS display. Has anyone else seen this? Could a TCAS gauge for another aircraft be causing a problem with the VSI on the EuroWings' BAe 146 EFIS panel? I've never seen something like this before but I guess it isn't outside the range of possibility... The more important…

Hi Folks. Does anybody know why my Addon Scenery gets knocked out of the database. After switching the computer off. When I return to start FS2004 the next time, all my Addon Scenery has to be added again, as it has all been taken out. It's all in the Addon Scenery folder still, but taken out of the database. Does anybody know what could be the cause of this please. Thanks John
