Hy Guys/Dolls, I hate to appear dumb, But I confess I am totally lost. I posted a couple of days ago, I've been running mfs2004 with my favorite aircraft "Level-D 767-300 Winglet version" for more that a year. Last week I tried to uninstall some "add-on scenery (dealing with tarmac/runways showing up black), since then whenever I try to start mfs2004 this error message appears "Aircraft Initialization failure DTX 3 Level D simulations B767-300 Winglet Delta airlines current Livery". I have uninstalled I believe every file and folder associated with Level-D 767-300 and mfs2004. The message is still appearing after I reinstall microsoft flight........ Please help…

It's noisy, jurassic and they're all scrapped and parted out (like all trijet types will be). But I feel like splashing money for fuel with the classic trijet. What options are available in the market? Cheers

Hi all! :excl: I`m trying to get ExcBuilder going and have msstdfmt.dll but where does it need to go.windows/system? or system32,the message says only "msstdfmt.dll needs to be installed on your machine",anyone clued on this one?

years ago there was this ultralight package for fs9? I can't remember who made it? Aerosoft? or FSADDON or Georender? there were several to choose from including a paraplane. is this still available someplace? any links would be appreciated.

Hello AVSIM Community, I Have a question. How do i freelook in FS2004 like in FSX? My laptop cannot run FSX at the moment, i use FSX via Parallels on my iMac. In FSX, you can use the soacebar and use the mouse to look around. In FS2004 i see you can't do that. I would like to look around my aircraft and AI aircraft, but i can only use the spacebar to look at it from behind. And no i don't use my joystick on FS2004. And as i looked around the forums, you can use addons such as Active Camera. But my magicpad scroll isnt working, so i cant use that addon. If anyone knows how i can freelook in FS2004, please reply.

Hello everyone, I got a problem, the sun disappears, the glare also disappears and probably the moon is nowhere too. I still got the "daylight" but the sun itself is nowhere to be seen. When I look towards the spot where the sun should be I see that "blinding" white..bright thing that you normally get when you look at the sun...but the sun cannot be seen. And something interesting, I have a saved flight, and when I load that flight, all gets back to normal, the sun reappears as normal...I can subsequently change the aircraft, or go to another airport from the menu, change the time, all will work fine, but if I start the sim in the normal way...the problem reappears. I have searched and read through the older posts related to this topic and am still not clear about this topic. I am running on Windows 7 64 bit with 8gb of ram. My questions are: Is the 3GB switch necessary or just preferable for FS2004? Is this 3GB switch necessary or just preferable for FSX SP2? I have decided to start up this thred out of excitement I always feel when I discover there is a great scenery addon for FS9 under development. hello, I downloaded the Roland Peltre Vought F-8 Crusader and when I hit fly now after selecting the aircraft, I get the dreaded CTD. All my other aircraft work well. But I can't get this one to work. Anybody else experienced this?

Hey guys, I recently set up my new system and Ive got to say my oh my do i get FPS when i want them where I want them. But i noticed immmediately a small yet HUGE problem. The distant texture and scenery looks well... Ill let you judge. :( . All of my sliders are on max, Ive got everything checked and my frames locked at 25. My frames always saty there and the scenery underneath my plane is always GORGEOUS. But not this. Any way to improve this? I purchased Walk and Follow and can move back in the cabin and see the wing but how do I look left or right? I know the numbers in the numberpad but that isnt permanent and I want to save the view so I can swicth back and forth in between VC and this. :) I know you use VC to set it up, but I know you can save the view and replace your spot view with the saved view and then load them into the simulator. Flying Bear Studio have released their version of Da Nang International Airport in Vietnam for Microsoft FS2004. Best known perhaps for its earlier role as a US Air Force base during the fighting in the 1960s and 1970s, Da Nang is now the third largest international airport in Vietnam, as well as being shared with a diminishing number of aircraft from the country’s military forces. The FBS version of the airport features custom ground textures and modelling, animated ground vehicles and also more custom objects in the surrounding area. Hallo there, i have fs9 running in Win 7. I am facing an uninstall problem. I got Installed various of Add-ons sceneries. When trying to uninstall the Fs9 a window appears warning me that istead of uninstall the fs9, uninstall the add-on!!!!! then nothing, so i got to delete fs9 MANUALLY. After re-install it the software "remembers me" keeping the same settings i had before delete it, something that i don't want it. what am i doing that is not correct???? <_< :mad: <_<

Hi to all, I often read about Aerosofts AES - that really sounds well. But now i'm asking myself if AES works also with propliners like Calclassics DC-6/B or Manfred Jahns Connie series, and how it works. Possibly not every feature of AES works well with these planes (and certainly not every feature really makes sense with propliners, but this is another question and up to every flight captain... Maybe it's worth using for rainy or snowy runways alone). Has anybody experiences with this? Thanks, Harald
