Hi all, all of a sudden I have encountered a problem with autogen textures. White squares pop up and disappear continually at GROUND level where ever I move around in the FS world - default or addon sceneries. I have searched a lot of fora for this problem, however, without finding a clear successful solution. Setting the autogen slider to none (all the way to left) will leave the problem out. Hence I assume that this is related to the autogen textures. I have tried following to solve the problem: Adjusting the FS cfg. file by setting other values for ¤ PAN_RATE ¤ TERRAIN_EXTENDED_RADIUS ¤ TERRAIN_EXTENDED_LEVELS Replaced all…

hi everyone, to anyone using the aeroworx b200 and reality xp gns530, i am hoping you can help me get setup to use this unit in the virtual cockpit. i have searched on the forums and manuals for the past three hours and cannot seem to be able to get the vc panel in my king air to display the reality xp gns530. i have tried the retrofits that were offered by others on the reality xp site, but no luck. the one thing that happens is the gps that comes with the plane no longer works either, but the gauge of it is still there in the panel. i am using FS9.1, windows 7. any advice would be appreciated.

The product description for MyTraffic 2013 is misleading. Not deliberately I'm sure but just to make clear to us all - MyTraffic 2013 is exclusively for FSX - the boxed version comes with a copy of MyTraffic 4.1 for FS9 which is available elsewhere as downloadable freeware. Hi Fs9 users, I usually don't change the drivers of my PC because after I reach a good compromise I hate to fix all the problems I have every time I install new drivers....and even this time, the same! I have a GTX560. I forced myself in doing it pushed by the VSync tweak I recently discovered....So after I deleted the old drivers 271.xx I installed the newest available (not beta). And I also updated the Nvidia Inspector to the 1.9.6xx. Firstly I was disappointed in not finding the possibility to set the VSync to 1/2...I didn't find this option with the combination of the two new softwares. Hi. I recently read a post on how to install traffic view board v2.1. I followed the same steps and installed any software required such as FSUIPC.dll and the traffic view board isn't showing up in my aircraft menu. I did exactly what Opa said in here : http://forum.avsim.net/topic/286166-how-to-install-traffic-view-board-21/ I also installed the latest update file which is traffic view board v16 and an auto installation of the fsuipc.

Am new to all this and trying to understand the "mesh" concept for improving scenery. Anyone have a minute to explain a little on how this works, i.e. downloading files like FSGenesis, Ultimate Terrain, GEPro, etc. and what you get for your money. Simple? Complex? Now please do not look at me wrong or come at me with pitchforks and fire about this post. Im not doing anything of the sort but just a inquistive question. Im a noob here at AVSIM but not new to FS. Torrents. Yes I know its illegal and its stealing. But it could be used to locate and aquire payware aircraft from companies that went under and no longer can be gotten ahold of.... Does anybody know why for some strange reason all the aircraft in my FS2004 have taken to continually revolving at 50 miles an hour on the spot, when I hit the 'Y' to Yaw the aircraft. Thanks John

After about six weeks of trying, I seem to have hit rock bottom in trying to get my new PC running FS9 the way I think it is capable of. It's been driving me nuts and really detracting from my enjoyment of the sim so I figured it's time to ask for help. There are multiple issues so i will start with just one and use a different thread for some of the others. 1. I am getting perfect visuals - I absolutely love the way it looks. And without AI my FPS are in a range between 50-60 (very complex scenery) to the hundreds (default). Good day All, Apologies for starting this topic again. Circumstances forced a reload of fs9 andI i put it back in the MS default. I then needed to add some more AI and reload and divert the WOAI aircraft for aerosofts VHHX. First--- WOAI installer couldnt find fs9 but it did find fsx. When I eventually tried manual extraction I got big red letters telling me that there had been an "unhandled exception etc" and that jitDebugging must be enabled in the application or computor config file. I found several messages on Avsim and other sites that indicated MyTraffic 2006 is now freeware. The link that was given led to a filesharing site that endlessly wanted me to download their download manager. Good day to all, I have a question that I am stumbling with. when I run the ADEX or AFCAD, some times, I see that there is a BGL higher then the actual AFCAD one, witch prevent the info of the AFCAD to be read by FScommander. That is resulting FSNAV or FScommander cannot read the Navaids of the airport correctly, and not reading the ILS info. These layer are some times bgl for signs at the specific airport. So how come these bgl l are higher then the AFCAD of the airport. Is there a way to lower these Bgl layer and keep the AFCAD at top, when scaned by AFCAD or ADX. Hi The ICAO codes in my country were changed years ago after FSpax was released. I changed the ICAO WIKK to WIPK (the new one) in fspax's icao database. But I got penalty due to incorrect dest airport. Should I do something with the AFCAD as well? I have never had problems before with the rest of updated icao airports. Cheers

I have been installing the various AIG and other flight plans and am pretty current. Recently I noticed that I am getting no commercial air traffic as I used to. I do get some military and some private private. U sed to always love watching the AI land. Now I get no incoming traffic. Why would this be? I would appreciate any help and an explanation for this. Hey guys i have a large problem that has just popped up out out of no where lately and I'm not sure why :( FS9 will not let me choose my time, as in i put the actual UTC time and select my plane and all. When the sim loads, one second after it finishes before i literally have time to do anything it quickly passes through the load screen for a second and there it is, sim just switched my time, every time I try to switch the time, it just reloads to some other time of the day! I know this may not bother most people but, I fly for Air France Virtual, and I must be able to fly acual time to be allowed to the flight Please any help would be great. Thanks in …

Hi; First time posting here hope someone can help me out. I reinstalled Fs9 and Instant Scenery 2 and now when I am trying to use the thumbnail maker in IS-2 Fs9 crashes and gives me the following message " fatal error occured Error signature App Name fs9.exe App Ver 9.1.0.40901 Mod name g3d.dll Mod Ver 9.1.0.4091 offset 0003f7b1" This is completely confusing to me and I would ask someone out there to help me get things working right if possible. Is there a download somewhere for a Southwest Airlines flyable aircraft??

I have been recently monitoring memory usage while flying fs. It, usually, reaches 1.3gb and the most it had reached was 1.8 with QW BAE146. I had a flight today with ifly from Aerosoft's EHAM to Aerosoft's EDDF and then I did the retern trip with out exiting the sim. To my surprise, the memory usage for FS9 reached 3.2GB and the total usage was 5.2GB.. I thought 3GB was the maximum for 32bit applications including FS9. Is that normal? And is it true that 3gb is the maximum?

Hi guys! I was told that FS9 is limited only to 1000 sceneries. Is it so? Does anybody have a clue how to bypass this limitation (I believe there should be a solution)? I've noticed recently that after I add a new scenery the last previously added one disappears, from which I figured out that there must be a kind of limitation on number of added sceneries. Please advise!

Is there any way to get a plane from MT2006 to be flyable on the flight sim? (By flyable i mean can I fly it...??) Thanks!

Hi I am looking to link FS9 with my iPad so that I can follow my route on Google Maps. Does anyone have any experience of the FSXFollow app and, if so, is it worth getting? Many thanks for any advice. David

I don't know if anyone knows (or not) but I've heard a rumor that there are 3rd party software(s) out there which add entries to the scenery.cfg file. I'm not talking about the normal entries which are added when you install a new scenery so that flight simulator knows where to find it. I'm looking for information on parameters which are non-standard flight simulator parameters. The standard parameters are in the sdk and would be something like Title or Local or Remote etc. I'd like to see some examples of the 3rd party parameters if anyone would be willing to offer them up. Hi, I recently installed World of AI on fs9. It worked perfectly I then installed the Attitude Concorde add on which replaced my FSUIPC.dll. Consequently, I could not get fs9 to start up so I replaced it with another FSUIPC.dll and fs9 works. However, now all my World of AI traffic is gone. I tried re installing my World of AI traffic files it but it won't appear. Can anybody help please?
