I notice that flash player kill fs2004 frame rate. i use windows xp and fs9. when i open internet, if the page contains flash then i lost my flight performance at fs2004. Especially this ocurence when i open flash contained pages. Other Office programs (Word execel...) did not effect to FS. it also kill cpu when i open flash contained web page. (i mean there must be conflict somewhere. i mean when i drop down fs9 cpu descent to %2 percent, then i open a page (contains flash) then i see that the fs9 cpu usage accurate %49 percent... so, do i explain my problem to you?

Hi all For the last week or so I have been having this problem and I cannot figure out what it's all about. I am sitting in my aircraft (any aircraft) and all of a sudden the aircraft starts backing up. If i re-apply the brakes it will stop but soon start again. Just had a flight from Bristol to Nice in the airbus a321 by IFDG, with Eric Marcianos panel, in fs9. What a treat! No virtual cockpit but superb wing/engine views, used fs9's flight planner (no FMC) and, of course, fsnav for approach and nav frequencies. Used Descentometer gauge for Vnav and seat adjust gauge for view changes (remember them!). Very detailed model and loads of repaints. Also plenty of free sounds to fine tune your aircraft. After also flying fsx and downloading evermore realistic packages, it was so relaxing just to go back and really enjoy a familiar flight with greatframe rates, no stress!! Mike

I encounter somekind of graphical glitch in LH Maddog in FS9. I don't have it in FSX with the Maddog there. When from the 2D panel view looking left or right sometimes first the normal view seem normal but within a second or so I see a distorded image like you see in the pic below of the display when looking right. I have the problem when VC is enabled and only in the FS9 version of the LH Maddog Pro.

Hi, I am a proud owner of the PMDG 744 add on, it's great, I am also very keen on the B767 and I know level D have a reputation as excellent quality, for those of you who have the FS9 level D 767 I wonder if you could be kind let me know if it has the following features. A) does it simulate Low Fuel Temp warning B) TCAS display, does it show aircrafts around you who are lets say 6,000ft below or above, ie is not like coded to a certain value +/- 3000ft like PSS and Captain Sim 757 C) can you hear the sound differences when you switch off the Recirculation Fans D) During ENG start in very cold temp, does it simulate low oil pressure etc E) does it have WX r…

My Dear Friends: I am in need of any advice on where I can find some repaints of this lovely bird. I have flown if more than the sr-22 and enjoy it mutch better and would like to add something different to it. the default three color schemes are bland and I tire of them. If you know of any repaints for this mighty fine bird, please point me in the right direcxtion. I have searched avsim and found only the sr-22 series. I am visiting a friend later who has recently bought a killer spec machine. I currently run FS9 on mine. If I were to copy all of my AI aircraft folders (including textures etc) and traffic scenery files to disk to paste into his FSX, would it work? Is the format for scenery and aircraft files the same for FS9 and FSX?

OK...get your reading glasses on for this one... Recently I noticed that some of the cockpit icons on a B737-700 / 800 installed in FS2004 had disappeared. That is to say the buttons for GPS etc are no longer part of the panel. See the image below; It should look like this Now on studying the panel.cfg for the aircraft these particular icons / gauges are part of a .cab file called "simicons.cab" which is stored in the gauges folder of FS. My first attempt at a solution was to uninstall both aircraft and reinstall them in the belief that this file was part of the installation package. This was unsuccessful. I am expecting delivery of a new PC in a few days and will be installing FS9 on its own exclusive drive. I want the install to be as clean and efficient as possible but by the time it's all done there will be a couple of hundred addon airports, area photoreal sceneries, REX, GEPro, utilities and aircraft etc. I wonder if any of you who have done this recently (in my case, not for a couple of years) have any suggestions on the best way to proceed??? I've got a pretty good idea of what I want to do but am open to different ideas like scenery priorities etc. Cheers Ian

Hello All I am no novice when it comes to installing new liveries for aircraft ,however I do have a problem with one particular livery (United Airlines ) in that it won't show up in my selection screen. I have loads for the DC3 ie KLM, WESTERN,MOHAWK, ALGERIAN. etc etc These are fine. I have examined carefully the CFG entry for this UAs paint comparing with the others (sometimes incorrect CFG entries can cause no shows for re-paints) but for the life of me I can see no discrepancies . Hello everyone, Is it possible to map the TCAS silence button on the Eagle Cirrus (bottom right bezel key) to a keyboard command (or joystick button)? It's a little annoying to takeoff and then immediately hear "TRAFFIC! TRAFFIC!" for aircraft moving on ground. The same thing goes for landing, you'll be approaching the airfield and it will start blaring for traffic lined up next to the runway. Thanks -- Dan

First, I don't understand how to install the FSBuild aircraft performance profiles! It says in the readme I should copy some text into the fsb_aircraft.cfg file - but I can't find that file! Where is it? Also, I can't find the FSBuild\aircraft directory where I'm supposed to copy some .prf files, according to the readme. So can someone tell me how to install this? Second, Is there a way to get the weather radar to work? Should I download a separate weather radar file and then install it into the panel, or what? If you could just give me some directions, that would be great. Thanks in advance.

Hi everyone, Recently, I bought a new computer, which has an updated .net framework. Having re-installed FS9, I downloaded EVP 3.1 (the latest version for FS9) and tried to install it. I got a pop-up message, however, saying that it required the .net framework version 1.1.4322. Would it be a bad idea to install that, given that the version my computer uses is more updated? I don't use AES myself, but I know that a lot of you chaps do, so I thought I'd pass on the news that Thai Creations have said that Macau for FS9 (and even the tweaker's sim) will shortly be available. I don't know if this is the right forum, but if it isnt it can be moved. I have the Level-D 767, and its amazing! But they only make a -300 model. I recently found the SkySpirit2010 models, and they make a 767-200. Since the -200 and -300 share the same systems but different models, would it be possible to merge the panel into the SkySpirit model? If so, could someone make it or post instructions?

I regularly fly to/from Frankfurt EDDF and find that with all of the traffic the queue for take off from 25R/07L can be excessive when you factor in arriving aircraft. Is there no way you can activate rwy 18 for departures simultaneously to get aircraft out quicker? I don't particularly want to reduce the ai traffic % as I dont want to miss something special turning up! Can the AFCADs not handle aircraft departing from runways in different directions?

Dear Simmers, I am interested in buying a VFR UK scenery product however I am really confused which of these mentioned in the title is the best. I also read that they both have night lightning texture problems ( which means scenery will be pitch black) but i'm not sure if these issues have been solved. i am having problems with getting FSBuild to display certain SIDS and STARS. i have updated FSBuild with AIRAC Cycle 1203. i have generated the fsbuild nav data indexes in options, closed the program and restarted. the problem i am having is that when i create a plan i only get one SID for FAJS - HGV4A. i know that there are many more, so where are they? havs anyone else experianced this?

Is their a way to make taxiway centerline lights spaceed closer together? The spacing of these lights seems to far apart at areas for turning corners. I'd like to have them closer together on curved centerlines. Thanks

Hi Folks. I'm trying to install Dave Garwoods Dragon Rapide which is fs9_dh89 to my FS2004 Aircraft folder. However when I get so far through the installation I get the message (please see attached image). Is there a way I can remedy this please? Thanks John
