Hi guys, Got a small problem. Somehow something has changed and instead of the airline id showing for instance 'Easy' for Easyjet i now get airbus IZT instead. Does anyone know how I can get these to read the correct information again. Doesn't stop me flying etc just niggles, you know example below:

Looking for a quality payware 737/747/757/767 or 777 that will run in FS9 (not looking for FSX compaability). But must be high quality in terms of reality. Reason is to learn handling without the distractions of scenery and possible stutters within FSX. FS9 has been installed specifically for this purpose. Recommendations would be warmly welcomed, thanks.

Hi Folks. I am just learning how to fly the iFly 737-800. I have followed the turorial religously, and as far as I can see I'm doing evrything as instructed. I'm clicking the TO/GA button on the MCP at about 60knts. I have the Autopilot Stab Bars at Normal, the Autopilot Disengage Bar is lifted up, then when I try to select one of the AP bittons i.e.CMD or CWS switches, they do not come on. I'm obviously doing something wrong. Can anybody p;ease point me in the right direction. Thanks John

Please excuse my ignorance but I am sure someone will be able to help me. I have an afcad folder for UK2000 Gatwick Xtreme which contains the files AF2_EGKK_UK2xGEN.bgl and AF2_EGKK_UK2xTRM,bgl bur I am not sure which files I put where. Any help would be much appreciated regards Brian

I may have have asked this before but can't remember. I am a fan of Posky aircraft ,particularly some of there older models (there A340s for instance) there NG series 737s and 330s ,all these aircraft perform well fly smoothly with minimum stutters or performance issues. The problem I have is with there latest version four 747s these are definitely performance hoggy on my PC (Even with textures converted to dxt3). My question does the fact that these 747s have an awful lot of texture files and also all sorts of effects ie pushback vehicles ,all sorts of cargo loading addons (you know what I am talking about) affect performance (frames) or is it something to do with (…

Dear Simmers, Would someone be so kind to give me some advice with regards to photo real scenery. Is there anyone that is using Fs earth files? Does tile proxy covers all europe and if so from where can I buy it? Is there any real good tutorial on how to create fs9 scenery. I am working on a new project for KISP, and I am looking for good pics of the terminal. I have the top-down layout, but I cannot see the face of the terminal or how high the roof is or hieght variations. Does anyone have any good pics they can share??

Anyone recommend an add-on KSAN? The only really detailed one I can find is the FlyTampa scenery, but that's almost ten years old now. Is it worth buying? Would to fly in and get a feel of flying into the built-up area (already have one file installed that adds buildings - an improvement). I currently have the one from http://frfstudio.net/ (site currently down it seems), which is great for freeware, but would like to have a more detailed rendition of this airport. Can someone help me with a problem I am having? I have a FS9 PC with two monitors, when running FS9 with say the PMDG 747-400 aircraft I have always been able to move the sub panels like the FMC, overhead, radios, throttles, etc. to the other monitor and re-size them there, but all of a sudden, I can't do that and I have not done anything or made any changes to cause this. Any ideas as to what I need to check or do to be able to once again move them to the other monitor? I can drag things back and forth at the desk top level and in FS9 the cursser will go back and forth between the two monitors but I can't move the panels over to the other monitor. Thanks Bob…

I was conducting a flight from KBOS to KMCO, the flight was during the day with little weather flying at about FL350 when my frame rates started to drop really bad to around 2-7 FPS. I have never had frame rates that bad even on the ground around major airports such as KDFW or KATL and this is happening at altitude. It started just south of NYC and continued until I quit the flight around Baltimore/DC area. Im thinking it could be related to AI aircraft? If I turn the AI off I will get frame rates back to around 40-60 but if I turn it on, even if to only 4 or 5% AI it drops back to 2-7 FPS? I have never seen this before and it only has happened in that one area......…

This problem just started this morning. I started FS2004 created a flight in an airport with user defined weather but at the foot of the runway the screen blacked out and went back then FS9 froze, then went back to normal and blacked out again and the whole cycle repeats.... I tried changing airports but only the intervals were longer. Here is my computer specs: (This is my old computer. I have no problems whatsoever in my other new PC) Windows XP Pro SP2 Intel P4 1.6GHz Nvidia GeForce FX5500 (latest drivers) Any help will be greatly appreciated

Hi peeps. I´m having trouble with my ESGG scenery by Swedflight (nowadays freeware). I have not flown to ESGG many times, but a few months ago I realized that the ILS was not working.. (I got to realize this the hard way.. Coming in to lock on the VOR in low visibility.. it ended with me doing four laps and then finally getting her down on the visual) Anyway.. I tried different AFCADs back and forth but no luck.. I finally decided to remove the scenery and re-install. STILL no ILS/VOR... And the problem is that when I open the actual AFCAD file in AFX, and then choose "Navaids", that window is totally blank. I cannot either try and add a new ILS, since the…

So...lately I am seeing alot of shimmering on newer payware (aerosoft, Onet Valley Skysoft etc) sceneries. Any suggestions on this? I also get flashes in parts of buildings, end of runways etc on freeware (what causes this?) I recently upgraded my Nvidia driver to the new 301.42, using MS7 and I use Nvidia Inspector. I was wondering if there are new settings for the Inspector considering the new driver? Any suggestions on settings for the terrain cfg? In otherwords I am looking for peoples best setup so that I can compare theirs to mine. Thanks for all suggestions

Have scoured Google to no avail; posted on Simviation's forums and got no replies; even searched this forum and found nothing relevant; so here I go again. =P Reinstalled Flight Sim 9 recently after upgrading to Windows 7 a while back. Surprisingly few issues, but one rather annoying glitch remains. Text in certain menus seems to lag behind, under-lapping and obscuring the new text that is supposed to take its place. Hi. I have a nice version of NZCH installed which I think I must have originally downloaded from NZScenery.com - now seems to be defunct (?). The zip file (I always archive zips I download) is called Christchurch-1.7-full-install-240206.exe The problem is that major parts of the airport, as installed from the zip file, have no texture. See the pic below. When switching view in a 2D panel view I often see colored squares or rectangles like this before all textures load. Lasts about a second or so. Even though much more rare I have also seen this in VC while looking around. But I havn't this problem in FSX. So why should I have it in FS9? Same computer same plane same weather theme during last test.

Hi Folksw. Does anybody know how to eradicate the sometimes occurring lines in the scenery, with FS2004. Please see added image to see what lines I mean, in this image the line is white, broken and flickers when seen through the cockpit window. Thanks John

Hi, updated my system yesturday (see my sig) and my flight sim runs really smooth. However I notice that when I was flying in in cruase altititude, frames were locked at 30 where I have always had them for years and notice that its smooth, but has a constant "lag" ever 1 second. I have a heading/banking problem with the Tinmouse 737. On take-off and climb out, the 737 slowly but surely turns to the left (without any control input). I am not using weather. The joystick is NOT the problem. It IS calibrated correctly. This problem ONLY happens with the TM737. I've tried other planes and they all hold the set heading, right up to cruise alt - this is with the AP off. I have also tried disconnecting and disabling the joystick. Problem is still there. I used the keyboard only (no joystick input) to get the plane off the ground - still turns. Those who fly the TM, have you not noticed this? - maybe folk don't notice this be…

Good morning flight simmers, has anybody experiences with the new UNNT Tolmachevo 2012 Scenery from Hawker, uploaded four days ago on avsim.su? I suffer from frequent crashes of my FS2004, running on an WinXP environment. (Suffering is the correct word, as it is a wonderful scenery.) Thinking at first it's a problem of the phototerrain and/or a missing phototexture, I did as written in the readme file. Nothing changed. I tried to substitute the phototerrain with a little landclass file to prevent trees from growing on runway 16/34 as I did successfully with some other phototerrains, but without success at UNNT.
