I'm looking for a classic 747 manual with PW engines (JT9 - 7A or AW). Not the complete manual, but I need the pages concerning "Flight with unreliable speed " and the cruize performance pages. I require this to tweak and correct the flight dynamnics and performance of the RFP 747-200. I need a yard-stick to work from. If anyone is able to send me these few pages, it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks Trevor

Hi Folks. Does anybody know how to eradicate the lines that are created in the scenery where they seem to join. I have tried playing arouns with the settings in Display, but nothing seems to do the trick. Hope somebody knows. I have attached an image, and have drawn a yellow line around the join lines I am talking about. Thanks John

Good evening, does anybody have some experience with the Tashkent scenery UTTT v2 2012 from avsim.su, made by Yevgeniy Vygornitskiy (Jhenya), Rashid Bektyakov (G-force), and Igor Pan (BUMBOX)? These are my problems: 1. Every time one chooses the airport some strange objects rise into the sky. Observed from nearby, these are a kind of chicks or hens (see picture). Is there a specific file to prevent them from doing so? 2. Generally, I experience more than occassionally crashs of FS2004 at this airport? Perhaps there is a well known cause of this? Any advice would be helpful. I can read some Russian but my skills are not sufficient enough to write my que…

Hi After the death of my trusty old computer a new machine is on its way. And with that the whole process of reinstalling everything. Unfortunately I can't for the life of me find my registration/license key for FS Navigator, so may just have to wave that goodbye. To be honest, I only ever really used it for the moving map function. And so to my point - is there anything else out there that can replace FS Nav - mainly for the moving map thing? Payware/Freeware whatever. I don't use the default GPS. Thanks for any info.

Hello All Could someone please tell me how to edit the FS9 CFG so that it loads the default flight. I cant start FS9 for some reason because of a visualfx.dll ERROR so obviously cant rebuild new cfg ) I am wondering if I can restore the default flight I may be able to start FS. cheers Andy

Hi, Today I was informed that Mr. Igor Suprunov died on april 25. His body was found in one of the districts of Moscou. That's all I known about his tragic dead. Igor was a real life pilot of the Yak-40 and recently of the Airbus a319 for Aeroflot. He made for us a beautiful simulation of the YAK-40 and Viper for FSX. I don't forget you, Igor. Hugo

I just started seeing an odd effect with my VOR gauge. It is out of alignment with my GPS by about 10 degrees. I'm thinking that the GPS is pointing true, while the VOR is pointing magnetic, as the difference is about right. Is this possible, and how did it happen? More important, how do I fix it? I downloaded some scenery and an aircraft, and played with some traffic and AFCAD files prior to seeing this. Thanks.

Anyone experienced problems with the autopilot or other systems? Mine seems to be very erratic i.e the AP woks fine for awhile and then ceases to function. Except for the quirks, this is a great plane to fly. As always, any input is appreciated.

I have just read Venustus01 posting of November 12, 2011 on this subject and the use of ADE program. In the past I have done the same but currently I am unable add ILS to FS9 airport runways using Airport Designer Editor 9X I following the procedure steps outlined below: : File Open stock airport xxx Find Now + click on runway Add + ILS + Add + Ctrl C (compile) Save xxx in FS9\Addon Scenery\scenery Save (shows Airport Compiled) Save as airport xxx (In FS9\Addon Scenery\scenery) Save The files (both xxx.ade and xxx.bgl extensions) will appear in this folder but on starting either FSCommander or FSNavigator I find that no ILS has been added, even though …

I have just installed Gernot Zander's freeware scenery for the new Berlin Brandenburg Airport (EDDB) which was released just a couple of days ago. The real airport was supposed to open on 3 June, but the news came through yesterday that the opening is being delayed until later in the summer. The scenery effectively closes the old Tegel (EDDT) and Tempelhof (EDDI) airports by putting crosses on all of the runways, switching off the lights and turning off the navaids. However I have discovered a couple of issues with AI traffic at the airports. I use World of AI and GA Traffic. I like the new website very much and for the first time I've started to take note of the daily news and updates. I like the comments section on these too. I marvel at all the new addons, widgets etc and wonder how we will ever find time to use half of them. But, the more the merrier - I realise that people look for different things from their flight simulator. One thing stands out above all others though. We still do not have an Airbus 320 series of iFly or PMGD quality. Hello everyone having some trouble with the Wilco 737 PIC with the Autopilot Heading and LNAV functions. When selecting a heading manually or if on LNAV Ill get the "Bank Angle, Bank Angle" etc and the aircraft would bank dangerously to the left/right. I have already changed the following in the 733.ini file: ; Bank limit maxBank=20.0 ;max bank in LNAV turns lnav_max_bank=20 ;when IAS below lnav_max_bank_ias = 280 Then in the aircraft.cfg changed the bank angle in the autopilot section to this: [autopilot] max_bank=20.0 But its still banking dangerously to the left/right sometimes. Hi All,I recently acquired the excellent VRS Superbug for FS9, after a few flight I decided to set out and find a few carriers to use with it.I eventually found the Alphasim USS Enterprise v2, but once I installed it, I found that it only appearedin Norfolk ( The install file said I had to copy textures into the other 9 CVN-65 locations) however,I don't have 9 other locations.Does anyone know where to get the original base package with all 10 locations as I cannot find it in their freeware directoryor under any Virtavia Products.I already have Flight Deck 6 and ArrCab Carriers with 3wire, but I would like the Alphasim Enterprise as it is still a superior quality product.M…

Hi! Looks like being a potentially expensive weekend again for FS9 scenery junkies!. In addition to Imagine Sim's VIDP, UK Extreme have just released Cardiff Airport EGFF for both FS9 and FSX. Hello All I recently downloaded a SkySpirit (ANA) Boeing 767.(POSKY as was) When I loaded it to inspect the aircraft, I noticed that there was no Beacon light. When I checked the relevant LIGHTS section in the in the aircraft CFG all the entries were prefixed with 'slashes' which I thought was a bit like a REM in good old BASIC ,anyway I removed these slashes and then I had my beacon back,HOWEVER! having sorted that I noticed in flight that the SPEEDBRAKE light kept randomly flashing on and of as I was climbing to cruise, it seemed they were trying to deploy automatically . Anyway I swapped the Skyspirit for an original POSKY 767 and there was no problem with flashing…

Hi everyone. So, I just got back to flight simming after a few years of absence. I used to fly a lot, but I kinda got bored of it. Anyhow, I decided to start flying once again. Everything's fine except for the fact that there's a little problem with the textures, here's a picture of how it looks: Why do the textures look so bad? Check out the lights and the sky. Any ideas? Just installed the SkySpirit 474-8i, unlike other aircraft I cannot see the cabin lights at night when in an outside view. Am I missing something in the texture file, unlike for other lights I cannot see a panel switch for these lights. Could it be because this model is a little larger than the normal 747 that the lights are being hidden behind the fuselage. Other outside lights are working normally. Any suggestions.

Hi All, I have tried to install this add on to a POSKY 757 without success. I have followed the instructions to the letter and this is the problem i have. Firstly i am running W7 64 Bit. I can get the FDSFX panel to show, however when i press/select a sound nothing is heard. If i move the mouse over each switch is says "file not found" So i right click each switch, it automatically comes up with the FDSFX sound files, i select and close, but still no sound and each button still says "file not found". Anybody else had this issue ? Any ideas/help appreciated. Regards Simon

Hi all, Since yesterday, I am having trouble starting my FS9. Now every time I start it, the minutes, I start to do anything, like change view, or select the flight planner, it shut down. I cannot see the reason for the error, as I am on WIN7x64. So how would I go about finding the errors. I have game booster, and I did a diagnose, and I saw an error referring to NTD.dll, but I am unable to replace it, it tells me I need auth for that. I am running as admin, and cannot delete or replace it. I tried to delete the FS9.cfg, and start a new one, it's just shut down, the minute, I choose fly . Any idea how can I fix that.
