Hello I run a BOINC program for SETI HOME,and I cant stop it running at startup.I have selected the option in the program to not run at startup (it still does) ,I have tried disabling it in MSCONFIG (it still runs at startup) I have tried disabling it in the startup options in Ccleaner (It still starts automatically at startup) Now I am as keen as the next man to be the first to discover the signal from an advanced alien intelligence BUT!! I still don't want the program to run at startup. Any help please simmers or alien hunters . I know this is not simmiing ,and I risk being shot at dawn ,but i am getting a bit obsessed with SETI starting up auto style ,when …

Clouds are usually the main concern when talking about FPS. But with my system I believe I can handle heavy clouds when using real world weather. I'm using REX, however even in thunderstorm or poor weather condition,my cloud still doesn't look heavy like it should be. It only appears in block and block and I still can see the ground. I love sitting in the VC and look at the heavy cloud bellow. Never satisfied though. Hi all ,I have posted this query on the UTT forum, but in case no-one there has tried this or they do not have T2005. Thought I might as well try here for a solution, cast the net wide so to speak. The mate and I have spent all afternoon trying to get T2005 to display this model irrespective of which livery we choose from Saudi/Aeroflot or Skylease variants. The plane and Livery's is installed correctly and if selected in the Aircraft drop down (menu Bar), can also be selected as the operating plane and viewed in spot view no problem. Ok so I decided to reinstall my FS2004 and my addon sceneries. I installed Flytampa St Maarten scenery (includes St Barths and Saba) and when I went to TNCM airport the scenery was fine but there is a gray "wall" in runway 9 threshold. Is it a missing texture or I just have to change some FS9 settings?

Hi there, I just finished reinstalling Win7 x64, and reinstalling FS9 from scratch, and tones of add-ons. Updated Nvidia driver to the latest drivers, did a full defrag of my hard drive, and now I see FS9 hangs for about 30 to 40 sec, some times to a 1 min, and continue after ward. ​When I change view to spot view, I see the plane always grey, no texture, and it takes some time to appear again. I am desperate at this point, to drop FS9 all together, since I don't enjoy it any more. Any idea what could cause this hangs, and what else can I do to solve it. Good Morning, Was doing some AI spotting last night and I noticed something strange with the above models. When looking from my aircraft's 2d cockpit or even looking at them from spot view, portions of the aircraft model stand upright while the remainder of the aircraft stays normal. It only happens for a few seconds at times, and it happens randomly. It's kind of weird looking at the aircraft taxiing with such a funny configuration. Like I said, it only happens randomly, and only with these particular models. I noticed this at KMIA and KMCO. Is there something in the air file or aircraft cfg files that could cause such a strange behavior with these particular models,…

Would it matter if I installed a wide screen aircraft panel on a normal size laptop monitor? Would the panel come out stretched? Thanks!

Although I own both FS9 and FSX, I fly FS9 exclusively, nearly always IFR flights in commercial jetliners. I've found that my system performs well with all default MS scenery, except when large numbers of clouds are involved, but my rig can slow down considerably in particularly cloudy or overcast conditions. I have also installed a significant amount of third-party add-on scenery, including most of those designed and released by BluePrint Simulations. I am happy with their designs, and in general I get acceptable frame rates (I have FS9 set up to lock frames at 20 FPS) when flying into and out of those sceneries unless significant clouds are present. Hi, how can I enable Vsync in windowed mode so I don't get tearing on my textures? I have it enabled in full screen mode, however, I get some weird stuttering in full screen mode that I don't get in windowed mode. Windowed mode seems to work fine for me. But in have tearing. Thanks, Bill

Hello Forum, I noticed my aircraft banking and straying off course and then straining to get back on course. I flew KORD-KSTL last night without my Active Sky engine on and still I have the same problem. Again, recently I have purchased the PMDG 747-400, Q Sim 757, and Level D 767 software as well as the new IS Delhi scenery. Also, I tried to update my FSIUPC (Registered) and now my headings are all off. For example my default airport is KSEA and starting out on runway 34R the heading is 341 but my instruments say 240. Not sure what happened there. I really do not want to strip my SIM I have three years of software and hours of tweeking planes and panels. Any …

I would have posted on their forums, but they seem dead. And I do believe that the source of most wisdom in the FS9 world is here. Here's the problem. With my old comp, Win XP, FS9 in default prog files/MS games, the WOAI auto installer just worked. Now I'm on Win 7 64 bit and have installed FS9 into it's own folder. Most other auto installer probs find this without trouble and just install hassle free. But I can't get the WOAI auto installer to work. I start it as Admin, select my WOAI package, it shows MS FS9 (I haven't installed FSX yet), I hit install, agree to their terms, it runs. And then things get wierd. For some months now, when I open AISmooth (on a PC running Win7 x64) I get the programme icon in the task bar OK, but clicking on it (or double-clicking on it) won't bring up the programme window on the desk top. Same if I right-click and choose the 'AISmooth' option. The taskbar icon just blinks once. This happens if I start AISmooth alone, right after a reboot, or whether I start it when FS9 is running. I have tried removing the programme folder and reinstalling (there is no installation - unzipping the programme as downloaded just creates the AIS programme folder) but to no avail. I've deleted all registry entries relating to AISmooth - still I can't open the progr…

My problem is as follows: I`m not able to start my loadmanager in FS2004. Get errormessage that loadmanager is not able to find a valid installation of Fs 2004. This error don`t occur with Wilco, Ifly. I`m using Win7-64. Anyone can help me with this? SAS649 Robert Ericsson

I have been tinkering with Afcad 2 for a few years without problems,but now I have built a new grass airfield using a grass runway surrounded by a grass apron to flatten the area. All was well until I adjusted some of the surrounding scenery using the transparency apron surface. The effect of this was to hide the whole apron on the Afcad window so I was unable to make any adjustments. I then deleted the airfield bgl, intending to start again. Although the field has been removed from Afcad2 and from "add on scenery" and appears nowhere else, it still shows up when I fly over it in FS9. There is no sign of the bgl file anywhere in FS9,so how can this happen. My only thought…

Hi everybody I've been playing with ths old girl a bit lately, it's been a while. I've come up against a programming problem that I don't recall having previously regarding inserting fixes. 1. With the PMDG 747, going to the 'Fix' page and entering your dest airport at the top, and then /60 below will give you a ring around your airport at 60nm. No problems there. 2. If you then click on the /60 line you'll get a position that is where your flightpath and the circle intersect and that you can use to insert into your route (I use this to calc a TOD that keeps RC4 happy). 3.
